Chapter 474: Chapter 469: Acting Skills on Point
On the other side, the members of the Netherworld Sect were all smirking coldly as they looked at Qian Xunyue. Blood stained the corners of her mouth, though she remained as breathtakingly beautiful as ever, yet she appeared utterly terrified.
“Hehe, there’s no need for you to shout. Your Granny Chi is now my slave, and I’ve already got her under control,” the leader of the Netherworld Sect said, stroking his chin and appreciating Qian Xunyue’s unmatched beauty with a playful grin. “So, this is the Yaochi Holy Water! It smells so fragrant!”
The leader of the Netherworld Sect held a lotus-like treasure in his hand. His eyes gleamed with greed as he waved it a few times. The treasure sparkled with immortal light, and spiritual energy drifted from it. A Heaven Rank Martial Artist would probably be able to break through a level of cultivation just by inhaling its scent.
“You despicable scum, you destroy my Yaochi Holy Land, Kunlun Martial Artists will not let you go,” Qian Xunyue said, tears glistening in her eyes. Her left arm was bruised, and the corner of her mouth bled. Her breath was weak, clearly severely injured. “Moreover, I have gathered evidence of your collusion with martial artists from other planes. The Netherworld Sect will bear the wrath of the entire Kunlun!”
“Haha, the Yaochi Saintess is indeed impressive, to have uncovered even this,” the leader of the Netherworld Sect laughed heartily, showing no fear. “When you fall into the hands of our master, you’ll find out if you can still talk tough. You might wish you were dead instead.”
Hearing Qian Xunyue’s words, the five members of the Netherworld Sect felt a slight shudder. If the matter were truly exposed, their sect would be besieged by countless Kunlun Martial Artists. However, recalling their master’s unparalleled prowess, they managed to quell their fears.
“Tsk tsk, didn’t expect the twenty-seven-year-old Yaochi Saintess to still be a virgin. Truly a flower waiting to bloom,” the fifth brother of the Netherworld Sect leered. “It’s a pity you haven’t tasted the pleasures of men. Our master will take care of that soon enough.”
Faced with the lewd comments of the fifth brother, who had little understanding of romantic relationships, Qian Xunyue’s face flushed with anger, her eyes blazing with fury.
“No, I absolutely cannot let them take me back,” Qian Xunyue despaired, a desperate thought emerging in her mind. “Even if it means death, I cannot let them capture me. But this would be a shame to the Yaochi Holy Land, a disgrace to my grandmother’s expectations!”
Qian Xunyue’s tears welled up, and she squatted under a tree, hugging her knees. Her once straight, waterfall-like black hair was now disheveled and lifeless. Despair, helplessness, and bitterness surged within her.
“Aww, how pitiful,” the fifth brother of the Netherworld Sect taunted, laughing. “How about letting brother comfort you?”
“Fifth brother, enough,” the leader of the Netherworld Sect said thoughtfully. “We’ve got what we came for, this place isn’t safe for lingering. There was a powerful person cultivating here just now. If we attract their attention, we might not be able to escape.”
After delivering that impressive sword strike, the five members of the Netherworld Sect glanced at the sky, eyes flashing with envy and yearning. If they were that powerful, they could dominate Kunlun without fearing the few old folks on the Kunlun Divine List.
Qian Xunyue also looked up at the sky, her heart stirring as she gazed at the dazzling sword mark. “If only this senior could come and save me,” she thought.
However, Qian Xunyue quickly shook her head, mocking herself. “Someone that strong, probably even stronger than my grandmother, why would they come to save me.”
“Don’t come any closer, or I’ll kill myself!”
“No matter what, your shameful deeds will be exposed to the world. The end of the Netherworld Sect is near.”
Qian Xunyue’s face was icy cold as she stared at the five members of the Netherworld Sect, her beautiful face filled with resolve.
Her own strength was no match for any of the five, and with her severe injuries sustained in the Star Cave, there was no hope of escape.
She also realized they had held back, not killing her outright or capturing her by force, probably due to their master’s intentions.
“Hahaha, we await your move,” the leader of the Netherworld Sect said coldly, looking at Qian Xunyue without a trace of emotion. “Capture her, we’re leaving immediately!”
At Qian Xunyue’s despairing smile, her pink fists clenched tightly, her aura becoming incredibly turbulent like a stormy ocean.
The space around them tore open.
“Crash!”
The sound was as crisp as cracking jade.
The sky was filled with the force of space, exploding and transforming into blinding white light, temporarily blocking the vision of the five members of the Netherworld Sect.
From the rift in space, a figure seemingly made of white mist emerged.
The person’s features were stern, their brows sharp as swords. They wore a dignified gray-white robe, embroidered with intricate space patterns, and their eyes shone with brilliant white light. Every move seemed to resonate with the vibrations of space itself.
Upon his arrival, the entire space seemed to freeze.
The five members of the Netherworld Sect quickly distanced themselves, staring in shock at the commanding figure.
“Where…where did he come from?”
The fifth brother of the Netherworld Sect pointed at the man, his voice trembling. He sensed the aura of a Primordial Martial Realm expert, and he was frightened.
This figure was actually the Sky Demon King in disguise, who had been subdued by Ye Tian and rushed to rescue Qian Xunyue.
“Instructor, you’re here too!” a surprised voice suddenly came from the forest, followed by, “It seems we’re really destined to meet.”
Sure enough, Ye Tian jogged over to Qian Xunyue, his face carrying the same calm smile as always, appearing as unruffled and gentle as ever.
“Mu Tian, what are you doing here? Leave, now!” Qian Xunyue’s face was filled with worry upon seeing Ye Tian, feeling that she had unwittingly brought him into trouble. “This is no place for you. Leave now, I am not your instructor.”
Qian Xunyue’s expression turned frosty, her voice cold and distant. Her beautiful eyes watched Ye Tian, filled with a touch of tears, making her appear even more delicate.
“Instructor, you have some blood on your lips, let me wipe it for you,” Ye Tian seemed not to hear her. He took out a tissue, knelt down, and gently wiped the blood away. “There, that’s better.”
Qian Xunyue stared dazedly at the gentle man before her. She raised her hand to touch her lips, feeling a strange sensation, perhaps a longing for love at the brink of death.
“Mu Tian, listen to me, run, now,” Qian Xunyue said solemnly, grasping Ye Tian’s hand tightly, her gaze intense.
The Sky Demon King almost laughed out loud at Qian Xunyue’s words, but restrained itself, wanting to tell her, “You’ve been deceived, you’ve really been deceived!”
“Sir, may I know who you are?”
