CHAPTER 29: DUAL CULTIVATION BREAKTHROUGH! MARTIAL FORCE AWAKENED!
This level of multitasking would be impossible for normal cultivators, but his soul had been tempered through thousands of years of life in his previous existence.
His mental strength was far beyond what his apparent age suggested.
In his dantian, the gaseous Qi that had accumulated began to condense.
This was the fundamental principle of the Qi Condensation Realm—transforming Qi from a gaseous state into a liquid state.
The process required tremendous pressure and precise control.
The Chaos Qi swirled in his dantian like a miniature storm. Gradually, tiny droplets began to form.
These droplets fell like rain, collecting at the bottom of his dantian. The gaseous Qi above grew thinner while the liquid Qi below grew deeper.
For normal cultivators, the goal of the Qi Condensation Realm was to eventually fill their dantian with liquid Qi until it formed a small pond.
The size of this pond varied from person to person, but generally, it was about the size of a small bowl or cup. Those with exceptional talent might have a pond the size of a large bowl.
But Xian Tiandi’s dantian was different. The Chaos Spirit Root and Chaos Dao Cultivation Technique had expanded his dantian to an enormous size during the Qi Refinement Realm.
Now, as he condensed his Qi, the pond that formed would be ten times larger than normal. Instead of a small bowl, his Qi pond would be the size of a large basin or even a small tub.
This meant his total Qi reserves would be ten times greater than cultivators at the same realm.
He could fight longer, use more powerful techniques, and recover faster than anyone else at the Qi Condensation Realm.
The condensation process continued for hours. Drop by drop, the liquid Qi accumulated.
The pond grew slowly but steadily. Xian Tiandi maintained perfect control throughout, ensuring the condensation happened evenly and without any impurities mixing in.
While his Immortal cultivation progressed, his Martial cultivation was undergoing its own transformation.
In his body, specifically in his bones and muscles, a new type of energy was forming.
This was Martial Force, the equivalent of Qi for body cultivators.
Where Immortal cultivators refined spiritual energy in their dantian, Martial cultivators condensed physical power throughout their entire body.
The principle behind Martial Force was based on the concept of biomechanical energy storage.
In the normal world, muscles stored chemical energy and converted it to kinetic energy through contractions.
But in the cultivation world, this process could be enhanced and transformed.
During the Body Refinement Realm, a cultivator tempered their physical body to become stronger and more resilient.
But this was just preparation. The real transformation began at the Force Condensation Realm.
At this stage, the cultivator’s body began to function like a spiritual energy battery.
The bones, which had been refined to incredible density during Body Refinement, now became energy storage matrices.
The bone marrow, which produced spiritually enhanced blood, began to generate a new substance—Martial Force essence.
This Martial Force essence was neither purely physical nor purely spiritual. It was a hybrid energy that combined the properties of both.
It flowed through the muscles, tendons, and ligaments like blood, but it carried tremendous explosive power that could be released instantly during combat.
The muscles themselves became conductors and amplifiers of this force. When Martial Force flowed through them, they could generate strength far beyond what their size suggested.
A punch that would normally carry a certain amount of kinetic energy could now carry ten or even a hundred times that much when enhanced by Martial Force.
The process of condensing Martial Force was different from condensing Qi.
Instead of accumulating in one location like a dantian pond, Martial Force distributed itself throughout the entire body.
It saturated the bones first, then the muscles, then the tendons and ligaments, and finally the skin.
Xian Tiandi’s body began to glow faintly as Martial Force condensed within him. His bones absorbed the energy like sponges, becoming even denser and harder.
His muscles bulged slightly as they filled with power, though the effect wasn’t excessive—his body maintained its proportions while gaining tremendous strength.
The Chaos Divine Body Technique guided this process, ensuring the Martial Force condensed evenly throughout his entire body.
No area was neglected. From his fingertips to his toes, from his skin to his internal organs, everything was enhanced by this new power.
The interesting aspect of Xian Tiandi’s dual cultivation was how the two paths supported each other.
The liquid Qi in his dantian provided spiritual energy that nourished his body and enhanced the quality of his Martial Force.
Meanwhile, the Martial Force in his body strengthened his physical form, which in turn provided a more stable container for his Qi.
It was a positive feedback loop. Each path made the other stronger.
Hours passed.
The moon rose high in the sky and then began to descend. Inside the tent, Xian Tiandi remained perfectly still, his breathing so slow it was almost undetectable.
The energy fluctuations around him had become intense enough that Ying Yue and the others could feel them even from outside the tent.
"The Big Brother’s breakthrough is very powerful," Xian Long whispered to Ying Yue, his eyes wide with awe. "I can feel the energy from here."
"Yes," Ying Yue agreed quietly. "The Young Master is very extraordinary."
Zhou Kang, standing guard nearby, could also sense the power.
His War Fiendgod Divine Body resonated slightly with the energy, as if recognizing another powerful physique nearby.
’No wonder the ancestor told me to follow him,’ Zhou Kang thought. ’This level of power at his age is unheard of.’
Elder Feng and Elder Qiu, the Golden Core Realm protectors assigned by Patriarch Xian Chen, observed from a distance. Tl
They had positioned themselves in the forest around the camp, maintaining a perimeter.
"That young man is not simple," Elder Feng commented quietly to Elder Qiu. "I’ve never seen energy fluctuations like this during a breakthrough to Qi Condensation Realm."
"Indeed," Elder Qiu agreed. "And there’s something else mixed in. It feels like body cultivation energy as well. Is he breaking through both paths simultaneously?"
"That would be..." Elder Feng paused, searching for words. "Unprecedented. I’ve never heard of anyone successfully doing that."
"We should report this to the Patriarch when we return," Elder Qiu suggested.
Finally, as dawn approached, the energy fluctuations reached a peak and then suddenly settled.
The pressure that had been building released like a held breath finally exhaled. Everything became calm.
Inside the tent, Xian Tiandi opened his eyes. Golden light flashed briefly before fading. He examined his internal condition carefully.
In his dantian, a pond of liquid Chaos Qi had formed. It was clear and pure, with faint rainbow colors swirling within it.
The size was indeed about ten times larger than normal. He could feel the tremendous power contained within this condensed Qi.
Throughout his body, Martial Force saturated every cell. His bones felt incredibly dense and strong.
His muscles contained explosive power that could be released at any moment. Even his skin had become tougher, providing a natural defensive layer.
He had successfully broken through to both the Qi Condensation Realm and the Force Condensation Realm simultaneously.
His foundation was now more solid than ever before.
Xian Tiandi stood up slowly, testing his new strength. Every movement felt effortless. The amount of power he could now exert was several times greater than before the breakthrough.
He clenched his fist and felt the Martial Force flow through his arm. Even without using any Qi, he could probably punch through a stone wall now.
He released his aura briefly, letting the others know the breakthrough was complete. Then he suppressed it again, not wanting to attract unnecessary attention.
When he emerged from the tent, Ying Yue immediately approached. "Young Master, are you alright?" she asked with concern evident in her voice.
"I’m fine," Tiandi replied. "The breakthrough was successful."
Xian Long and Zhou Kang also came over. They could both sense that Xian Tiandi was now much stronger than before, though they couldn’t determine his exact cultivation level.
"Congratulations, Big Brother!" Xian Long said with genuine happiness.
"Congratulations," Zhou Kang added with a respectful nod.
