Supreme Thief: I Can Steal Anything!
Chapter 61: Excitement!
CHAPTER 61: EXCITEMENT!
Within the span of ten seconds, ten wolves had been severely injured by Leon.
He didn’t kill them because there were too many wolves to deal with, all attacking at once.
His hands slashed with perfect precision, always targeting the same weak point.
’I’m lucky my back is facing the hole, or else I’d have to watch for front attacks and be forced to watch out for rear ones too.’
Among all of them, the black wolves were the hardest to kill. Their skin was thicker than the gray wolves’ and the white wolves’.
The white wolves were also difficult, but because of their speed. Though faster than the other two wolves, they still weren’t as fast as Leon — who had a +50 stats boost, giving him inhuman speed and reflexes, allowing him to react in time and counter their attacks.
Though the gray wolves were weaker and Leon could kill them easily, they didn’t bother to pounce at him. They already knew about this disadvantage from the start.
The wolves stopped pouncing just as quickly as they had begun. They’d realized their disadvantage, and Leon had fully taken advantage of it.
By now, their population was half of what it was. The gray wolves had the highest remaining numbers.
The White and Black Alpha Wolves, upon seeing that the situation wasn’t in their favor, immediately called off their pack.
They glared at the Gray Alpha before retreating at full speed.
But before they could escape...
They found out that the world had suddenly started spinning.
In truth, it was their heads that were spinning — because they had been cleanly severed from their bodies.
Leon had guessed this from the start. He already knew of the cunning Gray Alpha’s plan.
’The wolf promised the other two something attractive, asking for their help to kill me... but it already knew I was strong enough to kill them all. I knew the other two alphas would eventually realize they couldn’t defeat me and would try to retreat — and I... I would chase after them, giving the Gray Alpha and his pack the precious time they needed to escape to a secret hideout!’
’But there’s no way I’d be dumber than an animal. Not after escaping your hideous trap last time.’
Leon had already predicted the Gray Alpha’s plan, so there was no way he’d chase after the packs.
Instead, he would kill their alphas — throwing the pack members into confusion and disarray with no leader to guide them.
It would give him the time he needed to finish the rest off, slowly.
He had been keeping an eye on those three big dogs for a while now. So when he noticed they were planning to retreat with their packs, he rushed in with the highest speed his level and skill could muster — using that speed’s force to cleanly slice their heads off.
He looked at the Gray Alpha and grinned.
’Who’s the wise one now!?’
With a smug smile plastered on his face, he looked toward the retreating wolves — and watched as chaos and confusion descended into their midst, all in the absence of a leader.

With a smug smile plastered on his face, he looked toward the retreating wolves — and watched as chaos and confusion descended into their midst, all in the absence of a leader.
Leon immediately started taking advantage of their confusion to the fullest.
With his two arms and daggers at work, he had lost count of how many life forces he had claimed in this dungeon.
He mainly targeted the gray wolves, as the chaos of the other packs had also thrown them into disorder.
He wanted to finish them before they regained their senses.
He cut them down one by one, always striking the ones closest to him.
Painful howls and guttural growls echoed across the snowy expanse, each followed by a body collapsing lifelessly into the frost.
Leon now looked like the god of death himself—bathed in the blood of the wolves he had slain.
The more beasts he killed, the more his bloodlust and killing intent surged, swelling until it was almost tangible in the air.
Soon, more than 50% of the gray wolves lay dead, while only 10% of the arctic white wolves and black wolves had been killed.
Each strike was clean and fatal—instant death in a single blow.
An unfortunate wolf would barely have a second to howl before its soul was sent drifting into the realm of the dead.
Even though the Supreme Thief skill Light Steps was not primarily a combat skill, it still gave him a massive boost to his attack speed and movement. Combined with his mana-boosted strength, he was unstoppable—the wolves were like soft tofu beneath the saw-like teeth of his dagger.
Meanwhile, the alpha wolf gulped, halting its panting as it watched Leon butcher its pack.
The way Leon killed was raw and unpolished—he didn’t look like a professional killer or fighter. But he was ruthless in his own right, relentless in every motion.
Right before the gray alpha’s eyes, its pack was massacred.
Its commanding howl to retreat went ignored, its pack too caught up in confusion to follow orders.
With no idea what else to do—and feeling the rage and frustration of its plan failing—it finally retreated alongside a handful of its top-ranking members: its mate, several betas, and a few elite hunters.
Leon saw them leave but allowed them to go for now. He had already marked the direction they fled.
They retreated uphill, moving opposite the wind’s direction. With their distinctive paw prints, spotting them later should be an easy task... in theory.
From all his killings so far, Leon had only obtained two drops, each a pouch of silver coins.
He sighed, then continued his ruthless slaughter like a heartless demon who had dined with blood a thousand times before.
He had received level-up notifications at least four times already, but he hadn’t bothered to check his stats.
