The Second City Lord didn't go far, promptly running back to Su Yang's side, staying cautiously close. From his demeanor, it was clear that in case of trouble, he would immediately hide behind Su Yang for protection.

Su Yang couldn't be bothered with this guy and turned to the Great City Lord beside him. "Did you come in too?"

"As soon as you came in, that light pulled the three of us in too!" the Great City Lord said.

"The three of you?" Su Yang was surprised. "What about the others?"

"They weren't pulled in, they didn't come in!" the Great City Lord replied.

"Ah?" Su Yang was stunned. When the light pulled people in, did it even choose? Beigong War God and the others weren't chosen? How does that make any sense?
