Surprise, CEO: Those Two Kids? They're Actually Yours!
Chapter 25: Watching My Husband Date His True Love
CHAPTER 25: CHAPTER 25: WATCHING MY HUSBAND DATE HIS TRUE LOVE
The next day.
Morning light seeped through the curtain gaps, flooding the meticulously crafted room.
On the wide, soft bed.
The woman’s long hair covered the pillow, marks all over her body, along with the flush on her face, were enough to attest to what she had experienced last night.
Opening her eyes, Raina Lowell still felt utterly exhausted.
As she wanted to get up, she saw the man still asleep beside her.
She hesitated for a moment, stiffened her body, and didn’t move, gazing at him in confusion.
Looking at the old man’s handsome features, the neck she had bitten, and the scratched strong, sexy chest.
His entire body seemed to exude male hormones from every inch.
Raina Lowell didn’t deny that she truly loved him.
She wanted to be with him for a long time.
But this man cared a lot about the two children she had given birth to.
He had also said he would marry Isabelle Everett.
So what was she still hoping for?
Raina Lowell deftly sat up, picked up her clothes, and was dressing when Adrian Grant awoke.
He didn’t make a sound.
Lying there, he watched Raina Lowell’s slender back. The morning light shone on her, making her soft, smooth skin glow white.
Especially when she raised her hand to lift her long hair, her side profile looked alluring and captivating.
Recalling all that happened between them last night, Adrian Grant felt a lingering taste.
But then he reminded himself that she had given birth to two children for someone else, and a lump blocked his chest without reason.
Getting up, Adrian Grant leaned lazily against the headboard, falsely accusing:
"Raina Lowell, you’ve got some nerve, actually daring to climb into my bed while I was drunk."
Saying she didn’t love him anymore.
Then, what did last night’s passionate enjoyment count for?
A woman who says one thing but means another, how utterly annoying.
Upon hearing this, Raina Lowell’s back stiffened.
She didn’t look back at him, quickly dressed, and got out of bed, saying:
"Do you even hear what you’re saying?"
Adrian Grant’s face turned gloomy, self-righteous.
"Isn’t it true? I was drunk and remember nothing."
"And you, you were supposed to be at the manor. Who allowed you to come here, enter my room, and climb onto my bed?"
Raina Lowell really wanted to curse him for being shameless.
Clearly, it was he who didn’t let her leave last night and insisted.
If she didn’t still love him and feel sorry for his suffering, she wouldn’t have complied.
In the end, he had the nerve to shift the blame early in the morning.
Raina Lowell chose not to argue with him, instead candidly admitted:
"Yes, I coveted your body. Last night I took advantage of you, so what do you want to do?"
"You..."
Adrian Grant stared at her, naturally surprised that this little woman would admit it.
Suddenly, he wasn’t sure how to respond.
He casually pulled on his clothes, avoiding her gaze, spoke coldly:
"I can let this go, but you can’t see those two bastards in the next week."
Raina Lowell retorted, "Impossible."
"Even if I don’t go during the day, I have to go at night. They can’t do without me."
"If you go again, I’ll have someone kill them."
He turned cruel and bloodthirsty again, his eyes piercing her like sharp blades.
"You can try, challenge my limits."
Raina Lowell was furious, gritting her teeth.
Facing Adrian Grant’s gaze, she really wanted to fight him.
She felt sorry and helped him when he suffered last night.
Yet now he denied everything.
If he can’t accept her two children, then just divorce.
He won’t divorce, yet wants to restrict her from seeing the children.
How can one’s heart be so ruthless?
Raina Lowell knew she couldn’t anger this old man, otherwise, he would surely do anything.
She left in anger.
Adrian Grant sat on the bed and reminded her, "Don’t forget your primary job."
Raina Lowell had just walked to the door but had to go back to the dressing room to prepare Adrian Grant’s clothes for today.
Waiting for Adrian Grant to wash up and come over, she helped him dress.
Before they had a falling out, she helped him like this every morning.
Back then, Raina Lowell felt very happy.
But now, as she tied his tie, she wished she could strangle him.
At this moment, the phone on the bedside table rang.
It was Adrian Grant’s.
But Adrian Grant stood there unmoving, lazily ordering, "Bring it over."
Raina Lowell obediently picked it up, seeing Isabelle Everett’s name on the screen.
Suddenly, she felt a twinge of jealousy.
Before she could hand the phone to Adrian Grant, he ordered again, "Answer it and put it on speaker."
Raina Lowell complied.
From the other end came Isabelle Everett’s gentle voice.
"Adrian, I’m ready. Come and pick me up."
Hearing Isabelle Everett’s voice, Adrian Grant turned to stare at Raina Lowell, intentionally speaking softly.
"Okay, I’ll come right over."
"Mm, I’ll wait for you, mua."
The other party kissed into the phone.
Listening to this, Raina Lowell couldn’t hold back her anger and threw the phone onto the bed, then turned and left.
She thought she didn’t mind Isabelle Everett’s presence.
But after Adrian Grant had relations with her last night and now in the morning went to see Isabelle Everett, she minded.
Her heart felt both painful and suffocated.
Adrian Grant picked up the phone and ended the call, following her out of the room and reminded:
"Later, be our driver."
Hearing this, Raina Lowell stopped in her tracks, turning back to glare fiercely at him.
"You want to go on a date with Isabelle Everett and have me be your driver?"
Adrian Grant stood tall and strong in front of her, feeling it was reasonable.
"Is that not okay?"
"Why should I? Adrian Grant, if you want to be with Isabelle Everett, then divorce me, or let me see my kids every day, or I’ll never endure such humiliation."
It’s too much.
Not divorcing and also restricting her from seeing the kids.
Now asking her to be a third wheel and witness his date with his white moonlight.
Bullying is not done this way.
Adrian Grant saw he was about to bully this little woman into tears again.
He relented, "Fine, I’ll let you see your kids every day, just do your driver job well, don’t upset my girlfriend."
Afraid of seeing her aggrieved look again, he couldn’t help softening.
Adrian Grant strode past her, leaving her.
Such a woman, without a lesson, how could he feel satisfied?
Raina Lowell didn’t resist anymore.
As long as she can be with her babies every day, even if she watches the man she deeply loves every day, embrace another woman, so be it.
Once her heart completely dies, maybe it won’t hurt anymore.
Suppressing her emotions, Raina Lowell followed him downstairs for breakfast.
Then personally drove Adrian Grant to the Everett Family, to pick up Isabelle Everett.
Despite living in The Grant Family since the age of 15, she knew of The Everett Family’s presence throughout Southgate.
But she had never been to The Everett Family.
At this moment, her car stopped at the gate of the large garden mansion of The Everett Family, Raina Lowell looked at the grand luxurious building opposite.
She didn’t know why, but it felt familiar again.
Like she’d seen it before.
No, like she’d been inside before.
Especially seeing Ethan Everett escorting Isabelle Everett out, looking at the gentlemanly Ethan Everett, a surge of inexplicable emotions arose in her heart.
Ethan Everett also saw her sitting in the driver’s seat.
But after just one glance, he turned his gaze to Adrian Grant, instructing:
"Adrian, take care of Isabelle."
He didn’t know Adrian Grant and Raina Lowell were married, so he was very relieved letting his sister go out with Adrian Grant.
Adrian Grant raised his hand to lead Isabelle Everett, personally escorting her into the car.
The two of them sat in the rear seats.
As Raina Lowell drove off, she deliberately tilted the rear-view mirror upward, not wanting to see them embracing and showing affection.
Yet, she didn’t want to look.
Adrian Grant insisted on showing her.
He held Isabelle Everett’s hand, kissed her, yet his gaze was fixed on Raina Lowell.
Isabelle Everett, bashful, said:
"Adrian, Raina is still here, we shouldn’t do this."
Adrian Grant was still staring at Raina Lowell, absent-mindedly replied, "Don’t worry, she won’t mind."
