CHAPTER 31: CHAPTER 31: WANTING TO ADOPT EVELYN LOWELL

Her son is here?

Raina Lowell looked at Adrian Grant who was about to leave and asked, "Did you bring him here?"

Adrian Grant turned back to look at her, answering with a question, "Is your son really only two years old?"

What does a two-year-old child understand?

Not only did the kid run out of the manor, but he also knows acupuncture.

That’s completely unbelievable.

In over thirty years, Adrian Grant had never seen a child so different from others his age.

Raina Lowell’s nerves tightened, she immediately avoided Adrian Grant’s gaze, feeling guilty:

Before Raina Lowell could go downstairs, Evelyn noticed her presence and quickly jumped off the chair to rush over.

"Mom, why did you get up? You’re not feeling well, go back to your room and rest. I’ll bring you something to eat later."

She wanted to see what kind of reaction Elias Sheridan would have upon hearing.

Moreover, she was genuinely afraid this matter would spread to the old manor.

Afraid of grandpa being upset.

"The kid’s right, if you’re not feeling well, go back to your room and rest, don’t go out these days."

Raina Lowell nodded, took her son’s hand, "Let’s go, come with me."

She still had some things she wanted to ask her son.

Evelyn cared for his mom, initially wanting to assist her, but being too short to help well, he simply went ahead and held his mom’s hand.

After mother and son went upstairs, Elias Sheridan withdrew his gaze, staring at Adrian Grant whose face looked grim.

"Is that child really an orphan?"

Adrian Grant was absent-minded, "Hmm."

His woman absolutely must not have any blemishes.

Privately giving birth to someone else’s child outside, such a matter must not be known to anyone.

At least while they are still married, the existence of the two children must either be an orphanage or disappear.

Elias Sheridan had a flattering look.

"So who can decide about this child now, you or Raina Lowell?"

Adrian Grant looked at him, "What do you want to do?"

"Of course, adoption. Rest assured, hand over the child to me, I guarantee I’ll nurture him to become a legend in the medical world."

Which child only two years old understands acupuncture?

"You came here, where is your sister? Why didn’t she come with you?"

"Mom, I’m sorry, I was worried about you last night, so I came over alone. Sister and Aunt Li are still at home, but I called them in the morning, told them not to worry."

"Sorry, mom, I won’t do this next time. You can scold me, make me reflect behind closed doors, but don’t be mad at me, okay?"

The little guy spoke softly, his little face all crumpled, looking very pitiful.

Even if Raina Lowell wanted to scold him, she couldn’t bear it.

She picked the child up and asked again:

"Did that person downstairs ask you anything?"

"He did."

Evelyn nodded, his big eyes full of innocence and sincerity.

"He asked if I would like to learn medicine with him, he can let me treat and save people."

"Mom, that Uncle Grant doesn’t want to be our stepdad. I think Uncle Sheridan is nice, why don’t we let Uncle Sheridan be our stepdad?"

"Evelyn Lowell, go outside first. I have something to say to your mom."

Evelyn ignored him, holding his mom’s hand:

"Mom, you must be hungry, have a good rest, I’ll bring you something to eat."

"Okay."

Raina Lowell watched her son leave, then focused her gaze on Adrian Grant, asking him:

"Does Elias Sheridan know?"

He probably knows!

Otherwise, when Evelyn called her mom, he would have had a reaction.

Adrian Grant sat down on the sofa, in home clothes that exuded nobility and elegance, his handsome features cold and distant.

Looking at Raina Lowell’s eyes as if with ice.

"Before you’re no longer my wife, I naturally won’t let anyone know of your shady business."

Raina Lowell’s heart tightened, very displeased with his words.

As she wanted to retort, Adrian Grant added:

"Elias Sheridan wants to adopt Evelyn Lowell and nurture him in medicine, hand over Evelyn Lowell to him."
