CHAPTER 91: CHAPTER 91: BOTH CHILDREN ARE HIS

Raina Lowell looked at Adrian Grant’s indifferent and unfeeling appearance, and her heart felt a deep pain.

Having been his wife for only a year, she could accept leaving without anything.

But after leaving with nothing, she owed him two debts.

How could she repay them afterwards?

This man just wants to push her to the brink.

When she hesitated and was still unwilling to sign, her phone rang. It was Alaric Jennings calling.

Raina Lowell pressed to answer, and Alaric Jennings’ voice sounded somewhat anxious:

"Raina, you need to come back quickly. Aurora is awake and crying for her dad. She doesn’t seem to remember us. No one can soothe her; she was crying so much she went into alkali poisoning, and the doctors are currently trying to revive her."

Raina Lowell, in a daze, put away her phone and looked at Adrian Grant.

"Alright, I’ll sign immediately, but can you agree to one condition?"

Before Adrian Grant had a chance to respond, Mrs. Grant shouted:

"What right do you have to make a condition for Adrian to agree to? Quickly sign and take your two little brats away. I’ve never seen such a shameless woman as you."

She would never tolerate Raina Lowell in her lifetime.

Now, she only hoped Raina could quickly sever ties with The Grant Family.

This disgraceful thing has done nothing but embarrass The Grant Family.

Raina Lowell ignored her mother-in-law’s anger, thinking of her daughter, she felt anxious and asked Adrian Grant again:

"Will you agree? If you agree, I’ll sign right away."

Adrian Grant knew that her condition might be related to the child in the hospital.

Thinking about that child who somehow became attached to him.

He couldn’t bear to see her fall ill again, after all, she was saved from a near-death situation.

Adrian Grant agreed, "Yes, tell me."

"Please come to the hospital with me now, help me accompany my daughter."

Raina Lowell knew she couldn’t delay any longer, promptly signed the equity transfer agreement and the divorce agreement leaving with nothing.

She stood up and pulled Adrian Grant’s hand, "Let’s go."

Adrian Grant was ready to follow but was stopped by Mrs. Grant.

"Raina Lowell, don’t disgust people, letting my son accompany an illegitimate child you had with someone else. Do you take my son for someone who degrades himself?"

She pushed away Raina Lowell’s hand and commanded Adrian Grant, "Adrian, you can do whatever you want, and I won’t interfere, but what does this woman’s child have to do with you, why must you accompany them? If you go, I’ll hit my head against the wall for you to see."

Naturally, Adrian Grant sided with Mrs. Grant.

He bent down to pick up the two signed agreements from Raina Lowell, handed them to the butler for safekeeping, and then said to Raina:

"You go first. I’ll come over once I’m done here."

Raina Lowell’s eyes looked at Adrian Grant pleadingly, "You promised me, you must keep it."

Truly worried about her daughter, she didn’t delay further, turning around and heading out the door.

"Letting that bitch go just like that is too easy for her."

Watching Raina Lowell’s disappearing back, Mrs. Grant still felt unsatisfied and looked at her son.

"Adrian, get the divorce certificate with her by Monday, let her disappear forever; I don’t want to see her again in my lifetime."

Adrian Grant’s handsome face turned dark and he responded irritably:

"Mom, why do your words become so bitter; Raina is young and lacks judgement, why bother holding it against her."

When he saw Raina arrive, he thought, if Raina came to reconcile with him.

He could let bygones be bygones and forgive all her mistakes.

Unfortunately, he was overthinking.

That woman only wanted to cleanse from the accusations.

In her heart, she never envisioned a future with him again.

Adrian Grant thought about how Raina Lowell had already signed that divorce agreement leaving with nothing, and his heart inexplicably felt sour.

He turned and went upstairs.

Mrs. Grant feared her son would resent her and tried to restrain herself but couldn’t help shouting at his retreating back:

"You are not allowed to deal with Raina Lowell and her two wild brats anymore; since you agreed to marry Isabelle Everett, quickly start preparing for your wedding."

Raina Lowell returned to the hospital just as the doctors finished rescuing Aurora.

She rushed forward and grabbed the doctor anxiously, "How is my daughter? Is she okay?"

The doctor shook his head and sighed, his expression grave.

"I’ve told you not to let the child keep crying; she has an inherently weak constitution, and it’s easy for her to get alkali poisoning. Even immortals won’t save her if she keeps crying like this."

"Try to fulfill whatever she wants. Don’t let her wake up only to start crying again."

Truly, this batch of parents is exasperating; the doctor gave a few more reminders before leaving.

Raina Lowell knew her daughter wanted her dad.

She had already spoken to Adrian Grant, hoping he could really come to help her this time.

Looking at her daughter lying in bed, unconscious, her little face was pale without any color, she walked to the bedside and held her daughter’s hand, tears falling from her heartache.

Alaric Jennings said to her, "The doctor said Aurora has intermittent amnesia. Does she still remember you?"

Raina Lowell shook her head.

When her daughter woke up, she clung to Adrian Grant, not letting go, and called him dad, not even wanting her own mom.

She didn’t understand why this was happening.

Clearly, her daughter didn’t interact with Adrian Grant much before, they could not be considered familiar, yet after waking, her daughter wouldn’t recognize anyone but Adrian.

This put Raina Lowell in a difficult position.

What if Adrian Grant doesn’t come over? What if her daughter wakes up and still wants Adrian Grant?

She was very worried.

Evelyn lay on the other side of the bed, taking her sister’s little hand to check her pulse.

After a while, she let go and looked at their mom.

"Mom, sister’s condition is critical. Should I ask Uncle Sheridan to come and take a look? Otherwise, sister may die."

Sister’s pulse was too weak.

Plus, she has amnesia and doesn’t remember them; they simply can’t properly comfort her sister.

At this time, better to have the most experienced Uncle Sheridan come.

Raina Lowell didn’t want to trouble Elias Sheridan.

Additionally, she was uncertain whether the children were Elias Sheridan’s.

If he could not contact the children, then that would be best.

"Evelyn, what’s the full name of the Uncle Sheridan you mentioned!"

Alaric Jennings curiously asked.

He knew a very skilled doctor with the surname Sheridan in this area.

Evelyn truthfully replied, "His name is Elias Sheridan, he’s very nice, a skilled doctor, and he teaches me medicine."

Alaric Jennings was somewhat surprised, looking at Raina Lowell.

"You also know Elias Sheridan?"

Raina Lowell answered evasively, "You know him?"

Alaric Jennings laughed, "Yes, of course. Our families’ elders have interactions, and I’ve met him a few times. I just called him, asking him to come over; he’s probably on his way now."

With Elias Sheridan here, Aurora likely won’t be in danger.

He had utmost confidence in that man’s medical skills.

Raina Lowell fell silent.

She hadn’t expected the world to be so small, full of familiar faces everywhere.

At this point, she couldn’t prevent Elias Sheridan from coming over, and could only honestly tell Alaric Jennings that she knew Elias Sheridan through The Grant Family.

Elias Sheridan came over and saw Raina Lowell and Evelyn in the hospital room.

And lying on the hospital bed was Aurora.

Then he looked at Alaric Jennings, his face full of puzzlement, "How do you... know each other?"

Alaric Jennings didn’t shy away, "The two kids are mine, you tell me how we know each other."
