CHAPTER 386: 384. ALEX’S FACADE

Alex started sweating buckets after hearing what Isabella said as he realized he did too much.

He wanted her to be guilty to do few things for him but not to this extent that she did not consider herself worthy enough to be with him.

’No, It’s not that bad, I can still salvage the situation.’

His plan backfired however he quickly composed himself as the hamster wheel in his head started spinning rapidly as he concluded this is the best situation for him.

"Okay, Go get out then, Should I call you a cab or you can’t even wait for that long to go and see your son-!!....Sorry that was uncalled for."

Alex after contemplating the plan in his head braced himself as he started his melodrama.

His face twisted in anger and sadness as he spoke to her, wiping out the trails of tears from his face trying to put a brave facade in front of them.

Then in anger and jealousy he asked her to get out of the house however in it he mixed the personal taunt which he quickly regretted as he said it and even apologized for it.

Afterwards he just stay in his leaned down on his front foot position as his head was hung down in sadness looking like a stray puppy that was just kicked.

*Crack*

*Shatter*

Hearing his words and appearance shattered Isabella’s heart into millions pieces, She started to hate herself as she did not even consider his feelings when saying she was ready to go away from his life hurting him again.

She was so drowned in her guilt and self-pity that she ignored barely staying aloft Alex in front of her.

His heart already got broken by that damned cold woman Alia but now she herself did the same thing to him, Broke his trust and heart altogether.

’He should be feeling abandoned already because of Alia and I just made it worse and yet he still cares about my feelings. How come I lucked out with such an innocent and understanding man?’

Isabella’s thoughts started running wild, Thankfully there was the human size stress ball with her to release pent up frustration against herself.

She needed that if not she couldn’t figure out where to plunge herself to hide in shame and guilt.

But shame quickly overcome by the care she has for Alex, even unknown to her, eclipsed the love she has for her son, Nathan.

As of right now, there was only one thought in her mind and that is to repent for committing the capital crime of hurting such a pure man.

"No, I should be the one who should be apologizing, I was so blinded by my love for my son that it blinded me from everything else but that’s change from right now. When I am with you I am all yours in body and mind.

I know I am not worthy of your forgiveness and I am not gonna ask for it, I would earn it from you, To show you how much I love you not through words but actions."

Isabella quickly come back to her senses and in the crying begging tone asked for one for chance from him giving him anything he wanted.

Her big honey brown eyes filled with love locked on to him as her body leaned forward in an awkward position of wanting to hug Alex but not having enough guts to actually do it.

As for Rita, she was staying as still as possible not even daring to make a squeak as she was well aware the information she was hearing was not good for her well being.

As not only she chose the wrong person to be her partner to tag teaming for Alex but people kill to keep secrets a lot less than the one she was being told unknowingly by these two.

If she was not in the chokehold of Isabella right now, She would have made a run for Alex’s arms as right now she knew only this man in front of her can have the ability to protect her.

Well that is the secondary reason, The main reason she wanted to hug him to feel his warmth and also get filled by him.

’Finally caught the bait.’

Alex on the other hand hearing Isabella say that knew she fell for his trap and now he created the ideal situation for her to do what he wanted without her realising.

And for that to happen he decided to use her White lotus heroine trait against her, Though he, like any sane person in this world, he hates the self-righteous White Lotus heroine but not when it is advantageous to him.

"...REALLY!?....Wait-! Don’t do this, Don’t give me hope, I already burnt enough from the betrayals, Don’t promise me anything that you couldn’t fulfill it."

Alex took a moment acting like what Isabella said surprised him before he excitedly responded to her just as he turned into the questioning tone, outright warning Isabella not to play with his heart with her empty promises.

It seems Green tea bitch was not a misplaced title given to him before, He really marked the all checkbox of being that annoying yet sinister villain role.

However Alex doesn’t care what insignificant people call him, All he cares about is how he appeared to look in the eyes of the beautiful women ... .Which pretty much all women in this world.

"N-No! I am not laying, I-I promise you in my honour the head of the Gayler family, A-Rank awakened warrior, Mother of-! *Ahem* Lover of you, the man I lost my heart at first sight, Please I beg you to give me one more chance to earn my forgiveness, I can’t live without you."

Isabella jolt up from her place lifting the limp Rita along with her as she pleaded her case to Alex.

Her charming face was filled with worry and anxiousness as she at first became hesitant to speak but after contemplating goor a brief second pumped her chest up as she resolutely swear her love to him.

In the middle of her speech she wanted to swear by her love for her son Nathan out of her usual instinct but she quickly corrected herself.

This little action does not seem that much to the layman but Alex had the satisfying glint in his void like deeps beautiful eyes.

After all, This is the sign that his value at this moment surpassed her love for Nathan, Her own son in her heart.

Though this jump happened because of the guilt and anxiety of her at this moment and would go down eventually but only if Alex let go of such a golden opportunity from his hands.

"A-Are you not l-lying to me right, I warn you if you lie I-I would complain to my sister and ask her to punish you, I-I am serious about it, S-So d-d-don’t lie to me....please."

Alex’s breathtaking face suddenly had a look of surprise and excitement for a brief moment as he heard her words before it collapsed, replaced with fear and hesitations.

His demeanor suddenly changed, His strong angry persona replaced by the pitiful one, A look that urges people to just take this pitiful boy into their arms and protect it with their life.

Even his speech took a turn from hard firm to childish, wanting to be spoiled.

*Melt*

Isabella’s heart nearly melted seeing such a childish appearance of Alex, butterflies fluttered in her stomach as dotingly looked at him.

’So this is the real him? All that hard angry facade is there to just protect himself from getting hurt, isn’t it? How much that damn brat Alia hurt him to create such a facade for himself.’

Isabella seeing Alex felt bittersweet in her heart. On one hand she was super happy that he was showing his most vulnerable side to her. On the other hand, I was sad that he needed to hide his cute, beautiful side.

She even had the urge to go rush to the Miller family and teach that brat Alia a lesson...Well not the kinda lesson she taug..*Ahem* got taught by Alex.

"....Are you not gonna answer? Hump! Sist-!"

"Shhh!!~ Alex please don’t wake her up, I speak, I speak, I really am not lying to you....Wait, Here take my phone, From now on everytime time I come over, I leave my phone in your care, So I fully be with you from body and mind."

Alex, seeing Isabella got busy with her internal monologue, got unhappy as he keeping his childish tone and started acting, wanting to wake Amara up and "punish" Isabella.

Of course this was an act, He is not stupid enough to actually complain to Amaraor because if he did, Next day there would not be a Gayler family in thos Berlin city.

And if that happens. What is he gonna do when Nathan slips up?

He wouldn’t let his fatten up pig to run away, He has too much work to do before slaughter.

Thankfully Isabella moved quickly, lunging forward closing his lips with her right palm preventing him from speaking further.

Then seeing he stop, Quickly let him go as she started explaining while rummaging through her purse before pulling out her phone and handing it to him.

"....Th-That’s great....but you two are too close to me, right?"

Alex acted surprise as she lunged forward and happily took the phone from her as he needed it for the next part of the show.

Then he noticed, When Isabella jumped Rita was still in graps on her left hand chokehold, And so naturally she was squeezed between two like a sandwich.

"SORRY, I MOVE-!"

*Grab*

"I didn’t complain, Did I?"
