CHAPTER 422: 420. MELTDOWN

"Thank You."

Alex just took the coffee and gave the Liora look, gazing at the Necklace.

As he drank the coffee, just to winch at it as he took the sip, strong....no potently strong.

It’s hard to say if it had more milk in it or coffee, this is a mystery why it’s not solid yet.

"How are you still alive?"

He just looked at Black then with coffee in his hand, a liquid heart attack wondering how this woman is still alive if she keeps drinking this coffee daily.

"Yeah, exactly I know it’s light but you don’t have enough coffee, not the coffee guy I presume?"

Black drank the coffee and agreed with him, This coffee is indeed too light from her regular one that she takes daily to deal with White’s shenanigans.

But there was just half a jar of coffee in his kitchen and so she had to improvise.

".....More of black tea guy."

Well embrace the insanity, that’s Alex’s motto now as he just answered her and drank the coffee anyway caffeine doesn’t work on him like it’s work on others do.

It just makes him a little more alert, and Black tea is a lot more tasty than the coffee, plus it’s healthy.

"Tea?.....Tea?"

Black was uncharacteristicly talkative, as she just looked at him and said these two words slowly repeating it like he not just said he like tea but just insulted her whole family lineage and spit on her parents graves, If they are dead, being orphan it’s hard to know this stuff about them.

She looked at him as he betrayed her as she started sipping coffee furiously, being out of her character as she rather speak less to make sure she does not offend the others.

Yet here she was being quite expressive, well for her it is expressive.

"Yeah Tea."

Alex answered her and still drank the key. He needed this legal drug to handle this drama.

So he just drank tasting the bitter coffee as he gave one last look to Liora, Warning is obvious.

"But I stole it fair and square."

Liora whined while holding the dangling necklace in her hand while she was still holding it in her hands giving Alex a pitiful look.

She indeed stole it fairly.....logic died before, remember?

Anyway she was faster, and stronger then Xiao Bai not because of anything else, Xiao Bai is just too young and Liora has both experience and physiques and bloodline to make up for the pure raw potential of the Xiao Bai at least for now.

"Yeah that’s why I’m saying give it back and I’ll bring you next gen gaming units and it seems you took more than needed before didn’t you?"

Alex spoke softly but his tone say there is no way for her to wiggle out of this.

Liora stole the gaming stuff, He had Liza bring for him before, This woman just hoarding it for now.

By the way if it is not forgotten Liora just cooked Shapira’s meal...Whole ass S-rank is working as a cook.

It didn’t matter that Liora was doing it because she loves beasts, especially powerful ones like Shapira. A damn audacity of even putting her in that position is most Winchester thing Winchesters do.

"What...I don’t know what you’re talking about."

Liora did not meet his eyes looking everywhere in the chaotic living room like White who was not giving any fuck what’s going around her, Still throwing the pillow feathers around like a confetti, Black who was standing beside Alex throwin daggers at him as she looking in her coffee cup as if she find answer to her questions she did not asked them yet.

At Isabella, who was looking at Alex waiting for her attention, twitching her hand beside her, thinking about blasting the whole city block to get his attention, while Amara just came back wearing her purple office suite.

Yeah purple royal colour in office suit, yeah it would have looked weird if not for beauty like Amara was wearing it.

At Shapira while rolling on her back on floor tiles asking for belly rubs from him, having the existential crisis of she is tigress or over excited puppy.

Darting towards the Xiao Bai who was hugging Alex tightly looking extremely wronged mumbling about something inaudible while pointing at Amara.

Then at the ceiling fan where Rita was still hanging on it, knowing fully this bunch of crazies had just gone prompt critical, which means there was a meltdown yet to happen and so this place is not safe at all for her, a wise woman, an anomaly.

"First don’t lie about things you already admitted doing, 2nd don’t act like a cat who just caught cannery, That’s just dead given away."

Alex just pinched his nose bridge as he looked at Liora, like this woman admitted she stole all the computer and streaming stuff just yesterday night.

Now she has the audacity to say she didn’t steal his stuff. How can he not get frustrated by her? Not because of what she was saying, No, he embraced the insanity of these girls.

The issue is, he is annoyed by the fact of how bad she is at lying. It is an insult to his face.

It’s okay if Amara lies but at least lie with conviction, make it believable, try harder and not just be so guilty that you just tell others you are lying to them.

How can his women not know how to lie properly? that’s just an insult to him directly.

Yeah well he is also not normal, and well shameless.

"Liora give it back."

Amara just stood there checking her wrist watch and just lightly asked Liora, No it was not asking, it was a naked command to give back the necklace to Xiao Bai.

"Oh.....Are you commanding me Amara?~"

Liora’s grin suddenly turned predatory as she looked at Amara, Necklace was still held in her mouth, Just to show it off as she just briefly released her S-Rank aura, Not as threat just an open invitation.

"Yeah, Have any problems with that?"

Amara just gave Liora a look and look dead into her eyes as she spoke standing nonchalantly but also releasing her aura for a fraction of a second. The obsidian shiny choker on her neck was holding back making sure excited Amara did not just destroy half of the city out of sheer excitement.

She took the step forward unconsciously, While Shapira who was just rolling on the ground suddenly stopped acting like a dog and stood up quite agilely walking towards Amara and just standing beside her looking at Liora, not in threat no, something more, something like a challenge.

Meanwhile Isabella promptly sank backward sensing this is not something she is worthy of even being witness, as even a single stray speck of energy is enough to send her to the afterlife.

As for why she did not go and drag Alex with her too? Well he is safe as that small protective "charm" hugging him, So he is most protected right here.

"Told you, Here is Meltdown."

Rita hanging on the ceiling fan right above Alex spoke to benefit from Xiao Bai’s protection, already bracing herself for an impact.
