CHAPTER 43: 43: DO YOU KNOW SOMEONE NAMED HEAVEN?

Aria was amazed once again at the power of the Golden Barrier.

Aside from keeping out those with evil hearts, the boundary also served as one of the Heavenly Train Station’s protective measures.

It was designed to keep both passengers and anyone nearby completely safe from harm.

Fluff Ball also confirmed that no mutant monsters or infected could breach the area it protected.

With this assurance, she felt much more confident leaving the male lead and the others outside.

As she entered the Heavenly Train Station’s gate again, her silhouette slowly disappeared under the moonlight, like a bubble in front of everyone’s eyes.

No matter how many times they had witnessed it, the others still felt it was surreal.

"Now, where are we? What time is it again?" Aria muttered, glancing at her pocket watch. Seven thirty PM. Not too late, she thought, giving her plenty of time to take care of other tasks for the Train Station.

She wandered around the store’s vacant space for a while, her eyes scanning the surroundings, and then opened the system’s interface.

She tapped to go to the Rewards Inventory Panel.

A list of rewards she had never used before appeared, each one gleaming faintly as if inviting her to use it.

One Pure Healing Bottle.

Clothing Store Opening.

Two Benches.

Eh, she had forgotten about this Healing Bottle. She actually had one, but she wasn’t sure where or how to use it.

Aria’s curiosity stirred. What level could this Healing Bottle be? Could it cure the A-virus?

That was something for her to find out later. She had no use for it now.

At the moment, there were more exciting things to do. She decided to open the clothing store and see what new outfits she could get.

Clicking on the Clothing Store, just like before, a God’s-eye view appeared like a map before her golden eyes.

She moved her fingers, tapping and sliding to place the store, and in the blink of an eye, it materialized.

Samatha and the others behind her were deeply shocked.

A whole clothing store had just appeared before their eyes, like something out of magic.

What had just happened? What had their sister Aria just done?

These were questions they would never know the answers to, even in the end.

The once-empty space was now filled like a normal clothing store.

Through the transparent glass, rows of clothes and mannequins could be seen, displaying various colors and styles for both men and women.

Aria, seeing the result, couldn’t help but smile happily and clasp her hands together.

It was time to head inside, change into something new, and rest for a while.

"Sister, sister! Magic! Magic!" Little Carlos came running toward her, circling with sparkling eyes.

Aria laughed at the adorable child, gently patted his head, and pinched those chubby cheeks once again.

"Yes, magic. Sister will also have new clothes, and we can match with our adorable outfits!"

It wasn’t that Aria disliked her Stationmaster uniform, but she really didn’t have any other clothes to wear. She was the type who wasn’t used to wearing the same outfit all day. It made her feel dirty and uncomfortable.

This was her chance to finally get new clothes since arriving in this world, and she wasn’t about to let it slip away.

Getting her clothes from this store was far better than rummaging through abandoned houses for something to wear.

Lolo and the two teenage boys, Mikey and Richi, had already filled their stomachs, with Samantha taking good care of them.

When they saw Aria approaching, they prepared to thank her, their hearts full of gratitude.

But before they could even say a word, she had already moved ahead, stopping before one of the vacant spaces in the station.

Next, they witnessed something unlike anything they had ever seen before, making them wonder if they were hallucinating.

But there it was, a real clothing store standing right before their eyes.

What else could they say except that it was truly real?

Samantha walked up beside her master, giving Aria a quick look from head to toe to make sure she was all right.

After all, she had left her alone with the wolves, and as a woman who never trusted men to handle a woman properly, she was quite the mother hen.

"Sam, let’s go shopping." Aria turned to her with a smile, inviting her along.

She planned to use her stationmaster’s card to treat Samantha for being such a good person.

Samantha didn’t refuse.

Together, everyone went inside the store for the first time. The youngsters couldn’t help but look around in awe, touching this and that.

They had never seen so many kinds of clothes in their lives.

The three-inch heels, the boots, the sandals, and the shoes for grown-up men came in all kinds of styles.

It was truly an adult world.

"Sister, look, look, pet shoes!" Little Carlos shouted with his small finger, pointing excitedly at the slippers that had a cute rabbit face on top. His eyes sparkled, full of wonder and delight.

Walking over to where the youngsters were, Aria and Samantha saw that there were many slippers and flip-flops on display.

The cutest ones were those with little animal faces on top, while others had soft, fur-like designs.

Aria picked one up to take a closer look.

For a moment, she worried it might shock her again but thank God it didn’t.

Relieved, she quickly checked the size.

Size six.

She found some in her correct size, one pair for indoor use, another for outdoors, and a few for Lolo and the two teenage best friends, Mikey and Richi.

Before long, they were on another shopping spree that night.

Aria Vale Ashford used her special card and identity to buy the others the things they needed.

At exactly five in the morning, the entire Wishing Stop Station lit up once more.

Aria, who had fallen asleep sitting on a chair, woke up with a sore back.

Looking at her reflection in the mirror, she recalled last night and realized she had forgotten to find a house for herself and the others.

That had to be her most important task for today.

She decided firmly that she would never sleep on a chair again!

Yes, never again tonight! She told herself with determination, rubbing her sore back.

After stepping out of the powder room in the staff area, she and Samantha headed to the Train Mall’s food hall to order some takeout boxes.

To her surprise, when they returned to the Wishing Stop Station for the second time, the two teenage boys were already awake and quickly offered to help.

Not wanting to break the kind hearts of the two youngsters, she gave them a task instead to check if the men outside the Heavenly Train Station were still there.

They didn’t need to show themselves, only take a look from a safe distance.

Not too long after, the two best friends returned with their careful report.

Knowing that the male lead was still there, Aria stepped outside with a clear goal in mind.

The moment she stepped past the boundary, her clothes instantly changed back into her Stationmaster uniform. Her expression was far from pleased.

She fell silent, her gaze shifting toward the Fluff Ball, clearly waiting for an explanation.

Yet there was none.

The little spirit of the system only floated there quietly, pretending to know nothing.

Really, what was wrong with her?

Why did she keep changing her clothes like a magical girl every time she crossed the boundary of the Heavenly Train Station?

This question still had no answer.

Sighing, Aria let it go and slowly walked toward the male lead’s military car, wondering if he was awake inside.

She knocked on the glass window, trying to see if he was there, but the tinted glass made it hard to tell.

Almost a minute passed with no response, and Aria began to think he might still be asleep.

Just as she turned away, the car door on the driver’s side suddenly opened.

The person she had been expecting finally appeared, and Aria smiled, greeting him with a cheerful voice. "Good morning."

"It’s good you’re awake... and." She paused for a moment, looking hesitant, then raised her hand and pointed above her own head to demonstrate. "You still have bed hair."

Caelan’s hand instinctively went up to his hair, checking and trying to fix the messy strands, brushing them down until he felt they looked somewhat neat.

Aria watched him quietly, realizing the male lead wasn’t as cold as he seemed.

There were moments when he could be a little silly.

"Okay, it looks good now." She said, confirming that his hair was fine, so he wouldn’t worry.

Her silent gaze lingered on his face for a while, thinking about something about this person.

He didn’t look old at all, still youthful though no longer boyish.

Instead, a full-grown man now.

One thought crossed her mind. Has the male lead finally met the heroine?

"By any chance, do you know someone named Heaven?"
