Qin Jian, An Hao, and Yan Huan formed an alliance, drinking with the couple from all sides.

They poured out blessings one after another, until the couple couldn’t handle it and repeatedly begged for mercy.

"Since it’s congratulations, will you have a drink with me then?" Bringing the topic back around, Qin Jian got Yan Ye into the drinking again.

"You’ve really dug a pit for me; I stepped right into it without realizing," Yan Ye said helplessly.

"Come on, then, how about a toast?"

"You guys should take it easy, know when to stop." Ning Yibin intervened to prevent them from drinking too much.

"Young people! If you want to drink, just drink a bit, it’s no big deal! When we were young, we often got drunk!" Yan Luquan laughed.

"That was you getting drunk, not me!" Ning Yibin quickly waved his hands.

"Fine fine, let’s say it was me, alright?" Yan Luquan admitted to loving drink, but then added, "Liking to drink isn’t a bad thing! Look at the heroes of the past, didn’t they all have a drink to strengthen their resolve before heading into battle?"
