CHAPTER 41: CHAPTER 41: SIT DOWN, LET’S DISCUSS TERMS

When Song Dabai saw the life-sized Doraemon, his eyes lit up with excitement and delight.

Doraemon was his favorite cartoon character, and he had never seen one this big and tall before.

He really wanted to give it a hug...

But before his chubby little hands could reach out, a wall of people blocked his view.

Song Yinyin extended her arms, shielding Song Dabai behind her, and said, "Are you Lu Jihan? Take your stuff away, our Dabai never takes anything from strangers!"

"Strangers?"

Lu Jihan’s face turned cold as he straightened up, hands in his pockets, his deep eyes emitting a cold gleam.

"Dabai and I are not strangers; he is my grandnephew."

"What proof do you have?" Song Yinyin frowned and asked.

"Just look at his face." Lu Jihan pointed to Song Dabai’s face and said in a deep voice.

She snorted in disdain, "What a joke! There are plenty of people who look alike in this world; does that mean they’re all related by blood?"

Having anticipated her reaction, Lu Jihan squatted down in front of Song Dabai and said softly, "Now, Uncle needs to borrow a strand of your hair. But don’t worry, it won’t hurt too much."

As he spoke, he carefully plucked a hair from Song Dabai’s head.

"Ouch—" Song Dabai, who feared pain, couldn’t help but touch his head and let out a small cry.

"What are you doing?!" Startled, Song Yinyin thought Lu Jihan had done something to her son and pushed him away.

Lu Jihan said nothing, placing Song Dabai’s hair into a small square plastic bag.

"Shen Kang, take it to the hospital for testing immediately."

"Yes!"

Shen Kang left with the bag.

"Hey! Where are you taking my son’s hair? What are you planning to do?" Song Yinyin wanted to chase after them but was blocked by bodyguards.

She turned back, glaring furiously at Lu Jihan, though deep down she already guessed the answer—he was certainly taking Dabai’s hair for a DNA test.

"Lu, I’m going to sue you! This is a violation of human rights!" Song Yinyin yelled angrily, wishing she could rush up and slap Lu Jihan’s face.

But the next second, her chin was gripped tightly by a pair of iron hands.

"Woman, you still can’t remember my name? Remember it well from now on, my name is Lu Jihan."

His amber eyes were frosty, and his aristocratic yet restrained body approached her, his overwhelming presence seemingly about to engulf Song Yinyin.

Song Yinyin’s starry eyes slightly contracted, instinctively wanting to escape his grip, but her chin was pinched painfully, and a thin mist formed in her eyes.

Her heart trembled, silently cursing him as a bastard.

Damnit, she was clearly afraid of him, yet she had to admit, this bastard was incredibly attractive, like a walking hormonal engine...

Just as her heart was pounding wildly, he suddenly released her chin.

"Sit down; we need to talk terms now." He walked over to an expensive green leather sofa and sat down, his long legs displayed in full view.

Song Yinyin didn’t follow him; instead, she held her son even tighter.

Terms? What terms?

Guessing her confusion, Lu Jihan slightly lifted his eyes and focused his gaze on—Song Dabai beside her.

Then, his thin lips parted as he lazily uttered a sentence: "As long as you hand over my grandnephew, you can sign with the CAA Talent Agency and become a young pianist promoted by the Mainland Group."
