CHAPTER 78: SYSDI 78: MAKING UNINTERRUPTED LINES 2
Evan is finally at the checkpoint, but he has no idea how he will get to the other side from all the water.
There are no gaps from the side of the wall where he can step on, which means that he can’t exactly continue the line towards the side.
He looked around, his hand still holding the part of the broken pot with the line on the wall still unbroken.
When he was on the other side of the path, he was not aware that the walls and the ground would shift and rumble for him to be able to make sure he could continue writing a complete, uninterrupted line on the walls.
Evan scratched his nose with his free hand. "Status." He says, wanting to double check something.

Nothing much seems to have changed. It has been a while since Evan had checked if there is anything new. But he should not dwell on whatever has changed since then.
"Quest tab." Evan says.

Evan wasn’t expecting to have to have both of the main and the side quest be on the same panel. He thought they would be separate by at least two.
But he did not settle about that little information. What he needed was how the side quest was worded, which is the very same quest he is trying to accomplish here.
Evan remembers that there were two different side quest that he had accepted. Knowing that the second one does not have a deadline, he knows that what he is looking for is the first one. "Side Quest 1."

The wording...
Evan re-read how the description is worded. Nothing in the description was it mentioned that he had to start with the wall and only write on the wall.
The thing that he had been waiting for was that he was unsure if he should find a way to climb the walls to write the lines but even then, it is already risky.
And it never mentioned anything about that. All it did was make uninterrupted lines to connect the two branching paths in the middle.
That means that Evan had finally formulated what he would be doing.
He now plans to move the line down on the ground. The only thing that is very clearly unbroken was the path that could go across the lake in between all the water.
Sure, it is unstable, and the second part only appeared when Evan stepped foot from the other side. But no matter how temporary it is, he knows that there is no other way to see if it works other than to try.
Besides, it will not be a stupid idea if it works.
Evan began to lean down slowly, being very careful to not accidentally have his hand slip away from the line he is trying to draw.
There is a reason why he made sure to draw on the walls instead of the floor, and that is because of the posture problem he is going to have by the end of the passage.
He hopes that once he got to the other side of the lake, he won’t have to lean down and continue writing on the floor anymore.
Evan made his way slowly but surely. He slowly side steps as he drags his arm drawing the line. He is trying his best not to think about how his arm is starting to get tired and numb.
He knows he can do this. Thirty minutes isn’t exactly a lot of time anymore.
After an exhausting amount of minutes that Evan had to struggle through, he managed to get to the other side. He quickly started to move his writing hand towards the wall.
The path back from the left would be a lot lesser, but if there are still some traps, that would be a problem he had to withstand.
Just a little bit more...
Evan continued to move slowly but surely. When it was the room with a bunch of traps yet again, he remembered exactly where they were. Thankfully, none were close to the wall, but not so thankfully, he had no idea that the floor by the wall had a lot of pressure plates that could be activated.

Sensing a trap in front of user.

If it weren’t for his passive ability danger sense, even if it was a lot of warnings, he would have his line disrupted by now.
Instead of risking it, Evan moved from the wall back down on the ground. He slowly side stepped again. His back already hurts but he is not about to give up just yet.
He is so close to the end of the corridor. All he had to do was bear this as well as the other corridor with traps at the beginning of this branching path.
He is trying not to remember how much painful the dark hallway was. Without him being able to see things clearly, it looks like he would have to stay on the ground once again. It will be a pain.
Before Evan could think more about the next corridor, a loud notification caught his attention.
