While the flame slowly corroded Zerath, Alex pressed his fist firmly against Zerath's chest, causing cracks to spread across his nearly indestructible body. Blood seeped out from those cracks, but before it could fall to the ground, it floated upward, as if drawn by an invisible hand. Blood slithered onto Alex's arm almost immediately, coursed along his veins, and surged straight into his wings.

The blood soon merged with his blood wings, making them shine with deeper shades of crimson.

"Arghhh!!"

Zerath's face twisted with both rage and terror. He wanted to roar, but no sound came out of his mouth. Only agonized groans escaped his throat. He felt as if a monstrous beast with thousands of razor-sharp teeth was gnawing at his flesh, slowly draining every drop of his blood.

Every second, he felt himself becoming weaker and weaker.

He had once been a Saint Sovereign. Even though his cultivation was now sealed, his pride was still there. He felt humiliated when Alex, who was not even a Saint yet, was overpowering him so completely, forcing him into despair like a mere weakling.

Unfortunately, Alex didn't give him the chance to retaliate. He took out another trump card.

With a wave of his hand, Alex summoned his second Lawful Spirit, the Heavenly Lightning Bolt.

The moment the Heavenly Lightning Bolt appeared, the bloody sky turned violent. Red lightning streaked across the sky, filling the Domain World with violent storms. The ground shook heavily, and the air trembled, churning with fierce power.

A storm of lightning brewed in the sky, and in the blink of an eye, it descended like the wrath of heaven.

Zerath felt the incoming power and was terrified. He could sense the destructive nature of the incoming power. His current state was not good. He released his Abyssal Horns of Ruin, trying to smash the descending lightning apart. He let out a Shadow Explosion, filling the air with dark bursts of energy, intending to blind Alex and take advantage of the darkness to escape his grasp. He executed Bloodflame Corruption, trying to counter the devouring flames.

But it was too late. No matter how many skills he released, he failed to counter Alex. It was mainly because Alex's three powers were attacking him all at once.

The Shadow Devouring Flame was rotting and breaking apart his body. The Blood Devouring Abyssal Bloodline was forcefully devouring his blood, and the Heavenly Lightning Bolt was trying to destroy almost everything about him.

Zerath's body shook violently and twisted. His horns cracked, his chest split further, and his skin rotted away. The devouring flame continued to eat him alive. Every drop of blood that leaked out was swallowed by Alex's wings.

Alex was standing there with his blood wings unfurled to their widest. The energy swirling around him was much heavier and denser than before.

Unlike other creatures of this world, Zerath didn't drop any crystal at all. Instead, a golden key appeared at the place where his corpse had disappeared.

"What is this key?" Alex frowned and then picked up the golden key. At the same time, its information appeared before his eyes.
