The sleeping Lotus looked much like a traditional inn. A wooden front, a small shield of excellent calligraphy, announcing one's location.

The calligraphy was truly admirable. The strokes are full of vigor and strength. YinsThenner artist admired the work; however, the one who had drawn it was amazing.

"Well, someone put effort into that." She said admiring, and it was. Someone had put a lot of effort into that.

Entering by showing aside the wooden door, she spotted a lot of shoes on the side. A glance down at her boots. Those that were covered in mud, she slid out of them and walked to the front.

"I would like to ask if the seven treasures are residing here." Standing on her tippy toes, she slid a small token announcing her relation to them over the counter.

"Usually yes." The man said, inspecting the token for a moment. "But this time their entourage was too big for us to host. You would have to head to the Golden Dawn residence." He said, and she nodded.

"You happen to have a room I could book for the rest of the week?" She asked, and the man gave her a sign to wait for a second.

"Yes." He said. "A smaller single room. Though it's a bit far from the gardens and thus does not have the best view."

"Nah, that is fine. How much would it go for?" She was rather surprised they had a room at all, considering the tournament was running here right now.

"Altogether 1.246 Gold, 7 Silver, and 2 choppers." The smile on the man's face was so dazzling that Yin knew she was being a bit overcharged here.

"With no breakfast."

"Include the breakfast." She said blankly. There were not many places that had a room available for the entire week, and they both knew that. "At that price, it doesn't make much of a difference anymore if you include it or not, and I'll take it."

The man blinked, then he smiled; this time it seemed almost sincere. "Alright. Then 1.246 Gold including breakfast."

Signign and feeling the crying of her purse. Well, she did have the money, and even with this amount, she was not about to go broke. In the last few years, she had steadily earned and spent little to nothing.

"Here you go." She put a card forward. "Charge it from there. But the service better be good, for that price."

The man did and handed her an old-fashioned key. "It is spirit power activated." He explained. "So no one else will be able to enter your room without permission. Please give it a silver of your spirit power." Yin put in a bit of spirit power.

"Perfect, I'll lead you to your room." He put a small token on the desk. Saying he'd be right back, he led her towards her room.

"Breakfast is between 6 and 11 every morning. We regularly have a buffet. If there is something specific you wish for, please request it with either the breakfast staff or the front desk. We will do our best to procure it. Should we also pay specific attention to any particular individuals? Positive or negative, we will see to it and, if possible, ask you to enlighten us about their identities if they are unknown; that is fine as well. The sleeping Lotus poses a threat to our security. To meet your needs, we have bells that you can use to call a staff member at any time. All our rooms have dedicated caretakers. You can ask anything and everything, and if they are unable to provide it themselves, they can point you to where you can find it."

He led her to a luxurious room that was not small.

"The sleeping Lotus wishes you the most pleasant of stays."

"Thank you." The door behind her was closed, and she blinked. We'll. It appeared exclusive had been the right description, and a small room was an underestimation.

"This is bigger than my entire house in Vast Sea City." She mumbled.

The wooden floor in front of her opened up to a beautifully decorated traditional room. The patterns on the wood indicate and are of the same quality of craftsmanship as the calligraphy on the front door.

Her hand touched them and stared at them with admiration. On one of the walls, a painting was hanging, and her breath hitched. Stepping closer to it, she searched for an artist or a signature.

Nothing

"I have to ask then," she muttered and then walked to the round windows. The view was out to the streets. People were bustling about, but not a single sound drifted up to her, as if it was blocked.

"This place is really amazing." She muttered and then sighed. "I'd better unpack and then get going."
