Her father was holding the same hammer as Tang San in his hand.

Then the vision was gone, and her sight returned to the battle. The only thing she felt was deeply exhausted, as if she had just used one of her two high-consuming spirit abilities.

She gasped, and then her glazed over gaze focused back on the battle.

Tang San was also still inside the red mist while the battle outside raged. Tang Yin used the purple demon eye to see what was happening inside and then spotted Tang Sans' spirit bone. Eight Spider Lances, she remembered, it was something he had told her during dinner yesterday.

External torso spirit bone, like her wings.

Only that his lances were intensely poisonous. Deadly even. Tang Yin giggled behind her veil, drawing the curious looks of Salas and the blond boy, whose name she still did not know, for a split second, without realizing when they heard.

"Can you see inside?" Chen Xin asked, and Yin nodded.

"Yes, the spirit fusion is up against Sans' eight spider lances. It will be interesting to see who is stronger."

"Mhh, from all I know, during their spirit fusion, I haven't seen those two use any other spirit ability." Chen Xin muttered, and Tang Yin felt how her smile got broader and broader.

"Then San will win." She declared, and her gaze moved from her brother to the others. Xiao Wu, who was basically dancing, was locked in a deadly duel with Lucy.

Teleporting in and out of her opponent Scyte's range as she kept on moving at blazing speeds. Dai Mubai threw himself at Yan, his claws hit him, and a metallic-sounding screech came from it as Yan fought back with brutal efficiency.

He grew taller and taller with each hit, red hot flames consuming his figure as he towered even over Mubai, who resembled a menacing ghost whose expression was icy cold.

Their battle of red and white looked like it was ice fighting against fire. Dai Mubai was hurled backwards, and from his shadows Yin saw Zhu Zhuqing leap forward.

Her hand engulfed in a dark energy as she struck for Yan's neck. Their tag team was gunning for him with the explicit intention of taking him down while Xiao Wu occupied Lucy. Hence, Ma Hongjung had a chance at taking out Spirit Hall's support master with aid from Rong Rong and Oscar, who were both mobile on the battlefield and slipped through their opponents' attacks while high up in the sky.

Suddenly, Xiao Wu's braid became undone, her lengthy hair loosening as she was constantly on the move. "Stay behind me!" She shouted. Ma Hongjun, Oscar, and Rong Rong rowed in behind Xiao Wu, who suddenly glowed a golden and purple hue.

Invincible body.

Tang Yin's eyes widened. Xiao Wu used it that early. Then she calculated the time. Flying Sausage was running out, and then the only one airborne would be Ma Hongjun.

They needed to take out someone now. Either the support, Yan, Lucy, or the remaining member whose name she didn't remember.

Suddenly, Xiao Wu was on the prowl, her leg encountering Lucy's Scythe strongly.

The sound echoed through the Arena was ominous. Now, keeping Xiao Wu away was no longer an option for this small time. With Rong Ron's support, she was the most dominant person in the Arena.

Xiao Wu stomped down on the scythe, her expression dark as she was suddenly flung upwards by a waist bow.

"Fatty!" Xiao Wu shouted, and Fatty nodded as he went for Lucy.

That was when Lucy twisted her body mid-air, and a dark shimmer engulfed her as she twirled her scythe.

Wu was flung backwards by something as the ground suddenly started to crack apart with long, straight crevices drawn into it. Cutting apart the rising flames from Ma Honjuns Attack into shreds, leaving only small lingering flames that ominiously danced over the battlfield.

Lucy landed on her feet perfectly unharmed, grinning, and then rammed the back of her scythe into Xiao Wu's stomach.

Wu was thrown backwards, a gurgling sound coming from her. The invincible golden body had been over. Ma Hunjun caught her as a phoenix symbol appeared below Lucy and a fellow competitor.

Lucy cracked a smile as the flames rose from above. The other competitor screamed.

The flame pillar was cut once again in two. Lucy screamed something that couldn ot be understood at Ma Hongjun. Behind her, Chen Xin hissed. Tang Yin turned around at him with a questioning look.

"Infinite cut." He said. "Or at least I suspect that. It's a rare ability, and it's fairly simple too, but that is what makes it so rare as well. It enables one to cut through absolutely anything. It's a complete offensive ability."

"The cutting through air must be an ability as well," Yin muttered, her gaze fixed on Lily.

"Yes, that is a vicious combination, especially with a completely attack and aggression-focused martial spirit such as a voracious toothed eater."

"Can my blades get infinite cut as well?" She asked him. "Eventually?"

"Yes. But I don't believe it to be a very desirable ability for you. You enjoy a good battle, but without any killing. That is an ability focused almost exclusively on killing, and with enough ability, it can be learned through skill."

"I understand."

"Better for you to gain an elemental ability and focus your river grass on versatility." He said. "That comes before your sword."

Her gaze wandered to her brother, who was fully entangled in fighting the spirit Fusionen ability of Hu Liena and Xie Yue.

They were locked in a vicious dance. San, using the Tang arts to keep himself afloat, dodged many attacks by a mere hair's breadth. Blood seemed from shallow cuts on his skin where he had not been fast enough.

Xiao Wu, too, was moving at blazing speeds, locked into the battle with Lucy, as Ma Hongjun had two opponents to deal with. Xiao Wus situation looking increasingly dark as she was slowly driven into a corner by Lucys attacks.

Yan was fully taking up Dai Mubai's Concentration, along with Zhu Zhuqing.

It was a stalemate, a locked situation; one slip-up from any fighter would mean the loss of the other team. Ning Rong Rong was moving cleverly and using the combatants as a shield for herself as she distributed her support similarly to Oscar. The two of them kept apart so they would not be hunted down at the same time.

They, alongside the support from Spirit Hall, had the biggest targets painted on their backs.

All of a sudden, a cry echoed through the Arena when Xiao Wu was thrown backwards and let out a gasp, her side heavily injured and bleeding. In front of her, a flower shimmered. A small moment of Panic on Xiao Wu's face as the flower vanished, but it was enough. As the Carp in her head shouted in blind panic.

Spirit Beast
