Chapter192

“Ms. Chavez, if you have time, could you exin it to me? Or, if

it’s convenient, it would be even better if you coulde and

give me some hands–on guidance.”

As a leader, Vicente usually had people take care of his daily

affairs, so he wasn’t very familiar with many functions on

mobile apps.

With his busy schedule, he didn’t have much time to study these

electronic products.

Hearing Vicente’s request, Harriet said, “Please send me your

address. I’ll upgrade the system for you, and it will be much

easier for you to use afterward, Mr. Leach.”

She could exin over the phone and then do a video call to

teach him, but since the product had just entered the trial phase

and the system had been upgraded, it was more efficient to go

in person.

That way, it would save time for both of them, and she could

also ask questions and record his feedback on the spot.

For the other trial users, she and Jonas had done the same, especially for the older fathers and mothers–inw–they had

each visited several times.

On the other end, Vicenteughed and said, “Sorry ito /itrouble

you, Ms. Chavez. I’ll send you my address, and please send me

your license te number so I can notify security.”

“Alright.”

Agreeing to Vicente’s request, Harriet sent him her license te

number.

Soon after, when she arrived at Vicente’s residentialplex,

the security staff checked her license te and let her in

immediately.

Vicente didn’t live at the Leach’s mansion, but in a residential

Theplex was especially quiet and wellndscaped, with

many rare, old trees nted throughout.

Security was also particrly strict. For non–resident vehicles,

not only did they have to register the license te, but also the visitor’s information, who they were visiting, and the purpose of

the visit.

Chapter192

This time, Harriet was let in directly because Vicente had

notified them in advance.

She parked her car in a spot under the building, where the

shade from the trees protected it from the sun.

Arriving at the building entrance, Harriet rang Vicente’s doorbell,

and the door opened immediately.

Everything about Vicente’s residentialplex was more

dignified than others–even the buildings were square and

imposing.

Taking the elevator up to Vicente’s apartment, Harriet found

that he had already opened the door for her.

Even so, Harriet still knocked on the door and greeted him: “Mr.

Leach.”

At that moment, Vicente came out of the kitchen, smiling as he

greeted her, “Ms. Chavez, you’ve arrived. Pleasee in.”

Today, Vicente was dressed in light–colored loungewear, his hair

seemingly freshly washed and casually brushed back.

His outfit made him look quite youthful, not as stern as usual.

Chapter192

But… his presence was still very strong.

Seeing hime out, Harriet stood at the door and asked

softly, “Mr. Leach, do you have slippers or shoe covers for

guests?”

Vicente walked over and said, “Let me look for some, but you

don’t need to change shoes–juste in as you are.”

As he searched the shoe cab in the entryway, Vicente

added, “Sorry, Ms. Chavez, the housekeeper usually takes care

of these things. Why don’t you juste in?”

Seeing this, Harriet politely asked, “Then may Ie in just

wearing my socks? Do you mind?”

Vicente was amused. “Ms. Chavez, you don’t have to be so

polite.”

Knowing Harriet’s personality, Vicente still found a pair of

unused, open–toed men’s cloth slippers from the shoe cab

and said, “Ms. Chavez, will these do? I don’t think I’ve worn

them before.”

“That’s fine, thank you, Mr. Leach.”

When visiting users‘ homes, Harriet and Jonas were always

very polite, trying not to cause any inconvenience.

Taking the slippers Vicente handed her, Harriet changed into

them and followed him into the living room.

Vicente must have just unpacked the product. The robot was

next to its box, and the coffee table was covered with the

remote control and some removed parts.

It seemed he had indeed tinkered with it.

Approaching the robot, Harriet first turned it on and then said to

Vicente, “Mr. Leach, the robot is almost out of battery. I’ll

charge it first.”

She then exined, “This robot uses Gxy Innovations‘test

wireless power technology, but it can also be operated with a cable. The system was recently upgraded, so I’ll update it now.

After the upgrade, it will be much easier to use.”

Listening ito /iHarriet, Vicente asked, “Ms. Chavez, while the system is upgrading, can I step away for a bit ande back

Harriet replied, “I’ll assemble the parts and upgrade the system. It should take about half an hour. Mr. Leach, you can go take care of other things, and I’ll exin the functions to you in half

an hour.”
