Well, if the other party was the legendary level 10 Dark Knight, Vaerion Duskclaw, then there was only three people in this kingdom who could stand up to his presence without losing an inch.

"Reinhardt Arcknight greets the princess of Aetherion and the Dark Knight of Black Gryffin Legion. He performed a knight’s salute, then became unmoving as a statue once again.

"So it really is him. Vaerion, the reason you came here because..."

"Yeah, because I felt his presence. I had to see the Divine Paladin with my own eyes," the Dark Knight grinned.

The next second, there was an intense, almost ridiculous amount of battle intent coming out of his body. The battle intent shook the room, the tea cups, the mansion, and even the lake in the surrounding until there were visible ripples.

As berserk and powerful the battle intent was, it did not touch the occupants of the room and instead was solely targeted at Reinhardt.

The latter continued to stand there on his ground, only slightly widening his eyes. At that exact moment, a battle intent that was not any weaker than Vaerion’s own, exuded out of his body, quickly occupying half of the space in a battle to vie for supremacy.

The two giant battle intent clashed, dispersing each other out.

WHOOSH... The mansion and the lake stopped shaking. The battle intents disappeared as if it was never there, returning calm and peace back inside the room. However, after that display or rather provocation, can there really be peace?

All eyes, including the princess and the queen, stared at the two knights regarded as legends by their peers.

They are not going to start a fight right.. right?

"Vaerion.. you cannot"...

"Reinhardt... you cannot"...

The two ladies spoke to their knights. After a few seconds, Vaerion tapped his thigh and hollered, "Don’t be so alarmed, Diana, it was just a way of greeting between two great knights. If I have caused you distress, I apologise, your majesty".

The Dark Knight may be a little wild, but he was a knight after all. Quickly, he admitted stepping out of his place and apologised.

However, the queen shook her head "Don’t be, in fact, I was thinking just the right place for a match".

Her words caused all the occupants in the room to arch their brows, including Reinhardt.

"Is your majesty referring to the exhibition match?" Vaerion asked.

Exhibition match, to put it simply, was a friendly battle between two knights from different kingdoms. It was customary tradition in all the seven great kingdoms to pit their knights in a battle to showcase each kingdom’s ideals and techniques.

Of course, the battle embodies a deeper meaning than just a simple fight. It shows the ideals of that kingdom, their culture, skill, and legacy that the knights of the realm have left behind.

The exhibition match is not only a testament to the enduring will that the countless knights before them have dedicated their lives too, it also reflects the unyielding spirit of their nations, especially in times of looming war or fragile peace.

Additionally, it also strengthens diplomatic ties and mutual respect between the knights. Of course, as it was an exhibition show, it was not about victory; more so it was about putting up a show for the people to give them a sense of relief that the knights were strong and the kingdom would not fall.

That said, even if it was an Exhibition match, pitting two level 10 heroes was clearly going well overboard. It would create an international issue.

"Don’t get me wrong, I am not suggesting that these two fight. That might just create more problems. What I am suggesting is that we put two high ranking knights for the show. That said, just any knight would not do. How about the vice commander of your Black Gryffin Knights steps up to the challenge this time?"

Vaerion and Diana arched their brows. Making the Vice Commander of their Black Gryffin Knight to step for an Exhibition Match meant to appease the masses, it was still too much.

The Dark Knight glanced at his Vice Commander and then at the Queen before asking "And who will be her opponent?"

If a level 9 powerhouse was stepping up, then the one facing her would also be a famous knight matching their level. Was it a Commander from the Solaris’s Seven Great Knight Orders?

Just as this thought arrived in his mind, the queen shot it down with the shake of her head. The latter then pointed at the Demi Human quietly waiting by her side.

At the same moment, Zerina who didn’t think she would be suddenly pointed at, was startled.

"Huh?" Diana glanced at the demi human woman and blurted out "You don’t mean that demi human is the opponent for our Vice Commander... right?"

The queen nodded her head.

"She is the one. As it turns out, my knight here came up with quite a troublesome wish this morning, you see".

She explained the events of this morning, the speech that Reinhardt gave, and the objective behind her putting up this Exhibition Match.

After hearing the whole story, all the people present inside the room were completely shaken. Especially Diana, for some reason, the way she looked at Reinhardt became strange. There was a complex emotion, deep within those purple eyes.

"Recognising demi humans as official citizens. This... if it comes to pass, it will create a storm of trouble, especially with ’that’ kingdom" She was picturing the aftermath of what would come to pass if such a law were passed.

"I know, I said the same thing to my knight. However, his ambition is something that cannot be stopped. What’s more, I too believe that it would strengthen our kingdom in the future. So I want to see it. Anyways, back to the topic. What will it be? Will you accept the Exhibition Match?" the queen asked.

"This..." Diana hesitated.

"Hahahah..." At this moment, Vaerion started laughing in a loud and free spirited manner.

"I like it. That’s how a man should be. Alright, this match... we accept" The dark knight agreed to the Exhibition match.
