Reinhardt took the documents from her hands, glossed through the contents, before signing them.

"Alright, let us head off. I don’t want to be late for the inauguration of our new knight headquarters".

Saying that, he walked towards the balcony of his office. Tagging behind him was Melissa, who looked slightly nervous as usual. This part where they flew through the air, was something she was unable to get used to.

Reinhardt smiled, grabbed the beauty by her waist, and then took off. Of course, they have a carriage for their official use. However, after feeling the excitement of flying through the air, land travel became boring for both of them.

This was another usual part of their daily life. For the better half of the day, he visited places that needed his approval to start.

The sun was high up in the sky, and the weather was a little hot with the cold breeze from the distant snow clad mountains being the only saving grace.

As the two of them flew through the air, their sweaty bodies rubbed against each other, their clothes becoming slightly wet. Reinhardt grabbed tightly onto Melissa’s thighs so that his fingers would not slip. As a result, her creamy porcelain skin became a little red.

"After inaugurating the headquarters will have some time on our hands, right?"

Melissa, in his embrace, thought for a while before nodding her head "True, we do have some time on our hands. What is Lord thinking?".

"I was thinking of visiting this new shop that sells ice cream. My knights said that it is quickly gaining recognition from all around the town."

Although it was a sight on its own to see the sweat trickle down her breasts, he felt like she deserved some treat and a place to cool her body after all the hard work she did for the city.

"Un, it’s not a bad idea."

How could a girl say no to tasty treats? Melissa nodded her head in agreement. And so, while making plans for later, they arrived at the new knight headquarters that was a marvel of architecture, art, and stateliness.

He would argue that it was even better than the one they had back in their Lumiose city.

Reinhardt and Melissa walked towards the headquarters.

However, Reinhardt still made it happen using his own funds. Of course, it was not for free, he made all of them train until they were exhausted, starting the next day.

After finishing the inauguration, where he cut the ribbon and the knights swarmed inside the building, the governor and his secretary left.

"Eh? I don’t see Commander Reinhardt anymore?" Kevin questioned.

"You think the commander is as free as you? He is not only a noble with high qualifications and the commander of one of the Seven Great Knight orders, but also the Governor of the Snowpoint City. Of course, he is busy."

The one to make snarky remarks was Gwen.

"Anyways, get out of my way, I need to see my new room".

Northern district, a new bustling area of the city that was still under construction. New shops and establishments opened up here seemingly every day. In one shop that was quickly gaining reputation, were the Governor and his new secretary.

In their hands was a glass containing ice cream shakes that was the talk of the town.

"Hm, not bad. What is it called again?" Reinhardt asked.

"Yours is Nips & Milk. I am having a Secret Shake Affair," Melissa answered.

The names given to the ice cream were quite quirky, making him wonder who and why did they give the ice cream these names.

"Mmnn.. slurp... this one is good too!!"

She licked her lips, looking incredibly refreshed. Thanks to the ice cream, her body temperature came to normal.

Maybe she was just a big fan of ice cream, or maybe she just wanted to try the flavour he got, but he saw her stealing glances at his ice cream shake.

"You want a bite?" He spoke out thoughtlessly.

A faint shade of pink appeared on her face, and she asked coyly, "Is that alright?"

Well, their table was already the centre of attention given how he, the governor, and his secretary were sitting here enjoying the ice cream.

The sight of a handsome man and a beautiful woman enjoying was a sight in its own after all. Since they were already the topic of their conversation, he saw no wrong in sharing his ice cream with her.

Melissa opened her mouth and arched her body forward, her intentions clear. Reinhardt scooped some of the ice cream from his glass and fed it to her with his spoon.

"Mmm.. Mfffm... You are not wrong. That is indeed tasty too," The former blinked her eyes in surprise. Then she asked a little shyly.

"Do you want to try some of mine too?"

She was talking about the ice cream in her hand. Well, he was curious as to how it tasted so why not? And so, Melissa fed him her own... ice cream.

Talking about the taste, it was indeed good. There was a unique taste to her Secret Shake Affair that was different from his Nips & Milk.

"Have a good day, lord Governor and Miss Secretary too. Please come visit again," the owner, overjoyed by his presence, bid them goodbye.

"Now then, shall we return?"

"Un".

Reinhardt grabbed Melissa just like usual and flew through the air, towards the mansion.

JUMP... they landed on the balcony of their office room. Why the balcony? This was a request from Melissa. Since she couldn’t stop him from carrying her in the air like that, she at least wanted to land in a place where nobody could see her.
