CHAPTER 35: 035

At the northern part of the country, which is known as the territory of Alpha King Raul, nothing seem to be out of ordinary except for the angry Alpha as he repeatedly shot arrows at a dummy at the other end of the training ground.

His brows furrowed and his fingers were bleeding but it was not enough to quench the anger within him.

When he was given the last arrow, he finally stopped and dropped the bow to the ground with his chest heaving.

"Is there any update about Mitch recently?" He asked his beta that stood just a few steps behind him.

"No, not really but there is a rumour and I’m trying to confirm it before I give a feedback to you" He replied moving forward to stand beside him.

Just like any other Alpha, Alpha Raul aimed to expand his territory but in a country with three strong Alpha Kings it’s almost impossible. And he greatly respected one of the other two Alpha Kings while the one he hated seemed to grow more powerful each day.

"Tell me!" He turned to his beta sharply while wiping his bloody hand on a towel that an Omega maid offered.

His beta hesitated, and looked around, before he nodded.

"It would be safer if we talk inside," His beta replied and led the way into the pack house.

"What did you hear?" Alpha Raul asked hastily and waited with baited breath.

"The Alpha found his true mate. I don’t know how true that is but I got it from a reliable source". His beta supplied carefully as he watched the expression on his Alpha face changed from curiosity to disgust.

"That is almost as rare as a red moon. How did you believe that?

And what good can a true mate bring?" Alpha Raul mocked and walked to the mini bar in his study to pour himself a glass of drink.

While he appeared relaxed on the outside his mind was in a total chaos

A true mate has a ton of benefits they could bring to an Alpha and a pack.

If they get mated, the Alpha power will grow without bound and his status would rise as people would see his pack as a chosen one, blessed by the Moon goddess herself.

And when that happens it would take little effort to defeat other packs in the future.

Alpha Raul’s mind grew restless as the thoughts poured in.

"We shouldn’t let them get mated, he would be undefeatable when that happens.

You intended to become the only Alpha King in the future, have you given up on that?" His beta asked and that made Alpha Raul’s fist curled around the glass he held.

His eyes glinted as he thought of what he would achieve if he could get to meet his true mate too. He would get mated and abandon her. Then his power would grow massively. He would no longer have to fear Alpha King Mitch.

"Where is the Omega now?" Alpha Raul asked with a wild look in his eyes.

He wouldn’t let this happen, he can’t let Alpha Mitch grow any stronger. He thought frantically.

"They are both at the pack house currently, once we’ve confirmed the rumour. What do you want us to do?" His beta asked, waiting patiently for an order.

"Once it has been confirmed, I will decide on that. Keep an eye on them for now" He ordered and dismissed his beta.

He was left alone and his imaginations continue to grow wild and uncontrollably.

He had always vowed to claim the land that Alpha Mitch owns ever since his father died at their pack, no explanation was given to him and no one had consoled him.

He had grown up quickly and alone, his mother had mourn her mate till her last breath and now he is alone and with no other desire except to see Alpha Mitch go through the exact pain he went through.

"Hiii".

A cheerful voice interrupted his thoughts and turned around to see her sashayed inside his study in a transparent and body hugging gown. His eyes roamed over her body and he licked his lips.

He had the most fun when he had fucked her while the Alpha was in a relationship with her.

But now that he had discarded her, she had turned all her attention to him which was a grave mistake.

"Adriana, you did not call that you were coming" He spoke after a few seconds and walked closer to her.

He stopped just in front of her and she wrapped her arms around his neck while her chest pressed against his.

"I do not need to call all the time, we have passed that stage Raul. A little surprised once in a while is exciting" She replied and kissed him softly on the lips.

"I heard Mitch found his true mate, how true is that?" Alpha Raul asked as she stroked his light brown hair.

"True mate?" Adriana asked in disbelief. Her fingers stopped in his hair and her eyes widened but she quickly smooth over the awkwardness and smiled.

"Just like us" She replied and he paused after she said that before letting out a loud laughter.

Adriana moved back as she felt embarrassed at the way he laughed.

She kept a rigid face to keep herself from showing her anger.

After Alpha Mitch had sent her away from his house, she had come to him. She mustn’t lose out on both Alpha Kings.

She might not be an Alpha or an Omega but she also needed a strong Alpha.

"You are a beta, how can we be true mates?"

Alpha Raul finally stopped laughing and asked her.

"Let’s not get ahead of ourselves. We are only bed buddies and we would only be that. I am not ready to get mated so let’s keep having fun okay?" He asked and she reluctantly nodded with a painful twist in her heart.

"Damn you Raul".

she cussed in her mind and as he wrapped a hand around her waist and nuzzled his face in her exposed breasts.
