The Alpha King And His Omega
Chapter 88 - 088
CHAPTER 88: 088
Tristan sat and watched the unfamiliar surroundings with little interest and panic as the car moved past.
He had noticed something was wrong after the driver took a wrong turn and he asked him about it but he ignored him.
"You know how Alpha Mitch is right?" Tristan spoke up again after being ignored for the last hour.
The driver still didn’t say anything in response but his grip on the steering wheels tightened as the tension in the car became heavier than a ton of iron.
"You can’t hurt me". Tristan said again softly as the sky was beginning to darken.
"Shut the hell up!" The driver yelled suddenly and slammed on the brake without a warning and caused him to jerk forward in his seat.
He turned his neck to look at him with eyes as fiery as fire from the pit of hell.
"Do you think he gives a fuck about you? If you are gone he will get another Omega to replace you!". He yelled, blaring his teeth at him.
Tristan closed his eyes and grimaced as he wiped at his face because of flying saliva as he yelled at him.
"Then you are right. Why are you getting agitated?" Tristan asked with a straight face but he was scared deep inside.
"If I’m gone?" He thought but tried to remain composed even if it was obvious he was in a potential danger.
But what was confusing to him was the driver’s aim in doing this.
Or does he work for someone?
He thought in panic but quickly got his answer as the car pulled up in front of a house in the middle of nowhere.
Two men were waiting outside the house and one held a gun and the other stood with his hands behind his back.
Tristan doesn’t recognise him and that increased his fear to a great extent.
The car stopped just a short distance from the man, he noticed there were other two men at the far end of the house standing guard.
"Come out". The man ordered, his anger had subsided and he no longer looked like he wanted to eat him alive.
Tristan obeyed and climbed out of the car.
His hands were cold and they trembled as he carried his bag from the car.
He followed the driver to the man that stood waiting.
"Good evening Alpha". The driver greeted and bowed to him.
Tristan didn’t say or do anything, he only studied the man’s face but he was caught in the process and the man smiled softly at him.
"Welcome to this humble home, it must have been a tiring journey here. I am called Azier". He said and stretched out a hand.
Tristan looked at his hand and didn’t accept it. Even though the man had a wild smile on his face, he couldn’t help but think his smile was to cover a very sinister inner part.
"You don’t shake hands?
My bad, come with me". The man continued and walked towards the house.
Tristan watched him take a couple of steps away and he did not move an inch.
The man noticed and turned around slowly, his face showed a hint of coldness but he quickly covered it up and smiled again.
"You don’t want to walk?
Should I carry you?" He asked, still flashing a smile but behind the pearly white teeth Tristan could see the real him.
Under his steady gaze, Tristan walked towards him with his heart hammering in his chest.
Although he had never met him before or heard of him, he suspected that a fight between him and Alpha Mitch wouldn’t be a pleasing sight.
And for that realisation he tried to keep some distance from him as his body radiated power. His pheromones made his eyes water and he blinked his eyes several times.
The inside of the house was empty and quiet that Tristan could hear himself breathe as he continued to follow him down a long hallway.
They stopped in front of a room and opened the door.
He followed after him as he stepped into the room and was immediately met by a pair of glaring eyes.
"Adriana?!"
Tristan thought in panic but he only stared back at her.
It was a small dining room and at the sight of him, Adriana dragged her fork across her plate making a screeching sound that made him cringe and cover his ears in discomfort.
"That is too childish Ana". The man said in an affectionate voice before she dropped her fork with a loud clatter.
"Sit, let’s have dinner". Hearing his words Tristan remembered the last time he was at Alpha Raul’s pack. He had also forced him to have dinner with him which was a weird trait.
He took a seat farthest from Adriana and sat down carefully while avoiding her gaze.
"In case your dumb head can’t still process it, Mitch is not here. Think before you act recklessly".
She said in a mocking voice as she aggressively wiped her hand with a paper towel.
"Enough Adriana. If you can’t put your thoughts together, go to your room". Azier’s voice carried across the room in a tone that left no room for argument.
Adriana turned to glare at him silently as her chest heaved.
Tristan watched the two of them and knew things were a bit more serious than when Alpha Raul had taken him.
Someone knocked on the door and opened the door, two maids followed after each other and served them.
Tristan looked down at the food and immediately missed his Alpha.
It’s been a long time since he ate alone, they always ate together on the same plate.
"You don’t like it?
I can have something else prepared for you". Azier once again spoke up causing Tristan to frown slightly.
He shook his head and took a bite out of the food as he didn’t want to get the attention of the Alpha again.
"How much do you trust Alpha?" Azier asked suddenly and Tristan looked up from his food.
