CHAPTER 694: 572 LI JINGXU’S THREE JADE BOXES

The Mysterious Sect is the Daoist sect, and the Mysterious Sect’s orthodoxy is the Daoist orthodoxy. Being orthodox means carrying the responsibilities and obligations of an orthodoxy, such as maintaining the Daoist principles’ authoritative position, as well as upholding virtue and repelling evil, preventing demons from running rampant in the Human World, and so on.

Though not numerous, there are several sects within the Mysterious Sect’s orthodoxy, yet there can be only one leader of the Mysterious Sect.

Originally the Emei Sect should flourish, taking on the role of leading all immortals, and lead the Mysterious Sect, as well as those from other schools who have acted righteously.

The primary task was to help those who wished and were able to ascend to Heaven.

For example, as written in the book, after Emei Sect established itself, many sent their disciples to be taught by the sect because they knew their own teachings were not orthodox and they couldn’t ascend. They would have to be reincarnated again, but their disciples had excellent roots and talents, even stronger than their own, so they let their disciples ride on the coattails of the Emei Sect.

Next was to help everyone overcome their tribulations. In the book, Qi Shuming led many Emei Sect Elders to Xuning Island in the South Sea to assist a large number of Earth Immortals in overcoming their tribulations.

He also specifically enumerated the grievances between the Emei Sect and Shi Feiyang, where essentially the Emei Sect members were the ones provoking trouble and getting killed in retaliation. As an impartial mediator, he concluded that it was the Emei Sect’s fault for not being righteous and could not blame Shi Feiyang for their demise.

In the end, he urged Li Yingqiong to let go of grievances and cooperate with Shi Feiyang.

Shi Feiyang’s help would ensure he could safely get through the most dangerous period following reincarnation. In the next life, he should strive to cultivate to become a Golden Immortal; even if not a Golden Immortal, he must not be worse off than he currently was. This indeed was the best strategy!

After all six of them finished reading, they were all left speechless. Whether it was Qi Shuming, the person concerned, or the other five, they did not know what to say, as it seemed inappropriate to say anything.

Furthermore, beneath the little mountain was a small lake containing a pool of clear water, which was the Sun True Liquid.

After penetrating these deep secrets, Master Changmei did not hesitate to take out the Sun True Liquid and give it to Li Jingxu.

Li Jingxu combined the two types of True Liquid into "Two Light Divine Water," and for over a thousand years used it for demon-suppressing and path-refining with unfailing success. He also gained enlightenment into the mysteries of Yin Yang Union, which played no small part in his later Body Ascension and the cultivation of a Golden Immortal Position.

Li Jingxu had always been searching for the third type of True Liquid formed by the condensation of stars but never found it until three hundred years ago.
