CHAPTER 708: 584 DONGXUAN IMMORTAL’S FIVE INCARNATIONS

In the world, places where poisonous creatures such as snakes and insects thrive are mostly found in tropical regions, especially those hot and humid rainforest areas. In temperate regions, the toxicity of these creatures is generally not very strong.

He also learned various methods of poison cultivation and soul refinement from lesser known and unorthodox sects; combining these skills, he developed a set of Cultivation Techniques, established the Divine Dragon Sect, and chose this Snake Island to set up the Main Altar.

After enduring endless hardships, he found five Snake Demons over three thousand years old and designated them as guardians of the five directions, leading followers to worship them with incense offerings.

Later, when Bai Guanhong arrived here, he became the de facto master of the island, subjugated the five snake guardians, and employed Gu Refining techniques for nurturing, also casting spells to move five mountains here, upon which new temples for the Snake Gods were built, arranging them into an Array based on the topography.

Dongxuan Immortal then captured Bai Guanhong, seized control of Divine Dragon Island, and rearranged the Array.

Bai Guanhong’s arsenal mainly came from the Green Robe Ancestor and Shi Feiyang. The Green Robe Ancestor had quite a connection with Dongxuan Immortal, and the Spells Shi Feiyang taught him were of Mysterious Sect’s genuine teachings, essentially strong; only Dongxuan Immortal was too powerful. After her transformations and upgrades, the spells became even more formidable.

Initially, the five Snake Gods were worshipped as deities by Sect Hierarch Hong. When it came to Bai Guanhong, he treated them as subordinates. Now, with Dongxuan Immortal, she straightforwardly used them as Gu Worms for refining.

All five Snake Gods merged with Dongxuan Immortal’s substitution Gu Worms, essentially becoming her five substitutes.

Shi Feiyang’s pavilion was situated in the north, and the Black Snake God was the first to arrive, with a human body and a snake head, sporting a slender neck and a triangular snake head on top, hissing forked tongues, covered in black fine scales, with a total of four arms, and the lower body of a human with legs, yet a long tail trailing behind.

This Snake Demon was shrouded in a mass of black fog, each of its four hands wielding a Demon Blade.

The blades were all Magical Treasures refined by Dongxuan Immortal who let out a "hissing" scream, emerging from the dense fog, first spitting out a black Poison Dragon Pearl.

This object was obtained when Dongxuan Immortal slew a Poison Dragon in the past and collected its extremely toxic saliva, giving it to the incarnations of the five Snake Gods as Lifebound Magical Treasures. Now, as it was spewed forth, it suspended in the air.

The black Treasure Bead, the size of a bowl, spun around, releasing a band of black light rife with intense poison - and incredibly frigid - instantly causing Sword Immortals who were enveloped by it to succumb to the poison, turning into Zombies.

Knowing Shi Feiyang’s Purple And Blue Divine Flames were powerful, Dongxuan Immortal did not use the intensely poisonous and cold light to clash outright but rather enclosed both Shi Feiyang and the pavilion together within it, sealing off every direction of space around them completely.

Next, the Black Snake God swung all four arms simultaneously, and all four Demon Blades sliced down.

Dongxuan Immortal thought Shi Feiyang was attempting to flee east and quickly ordered the Green Snake God to circle back to the east, guard the crucial point of the Array, and simultaneously released millions of Golden Silkworm Gus she had refined, transforming them into millions of golden stars that also flew eastward.

However, at this time, the Red Snake God and the White Snake God successively spotted Shi Feiyang as well.

Dongxuan Immortal was taken aback, knowing she encountered an unparalleled powerful adversary today. She mobilized all the poisonous insects on the entire island, splitting them into several groups, each pursuing a target.
