CHAPTER 713: 589 DIVINE DEMON EVOLUTION

Atop the Red Lotus Dharma Seat, Shi Pi the Elder wielded his horsetail whisk, and from within the Blood Flame, numerous Golden Sabers, Golden Swords, Golden Needles, and golden forks materialized instantly.

In an instant, the six were overwhelmed by the boundless sea of Blood Flame Gold Saber. Had their Mana not been quite strong and they not been united together, focusing their efforts, they would have been completely annihilated then and there!

Trapped within, they found themselves surrounded by Blood Flame Demon Light and Golden Sabers and Swords from all sides, unable to discern up from down, left from right, let alone find a way out. Their only option was to struggle desperately.

At this time, under Shi Pi the Elder’s casting, the Five Mountains Divine Peaks continued to press down relentlessly. Each mountain, hundreds of feet tall and spewing fierce flames, seemed like five giant meteorites, smashing down from outer space!

The other four mountains were somehow caught by Yu Wa and her disciples, who were directly facing the frontal attack of Shi Pi the Elder’s Blood Flame Gold Saber, along with four volcanic mountains and eight Divine Demons—they were clearly becoming more overwhelmed.

Yu Xiangzhu saw that their side’s Sword Light was continuously being compressed and many Flying Sword Magical Treasures were destroyed in the Blood Flame Gold Saber. A great number of Magical Treasures and Thunder Pearls were thrown out, but they could neither shake the fiery mountains above nor repel the Blood Flame below.

Some of her disciples had their Flying Sword Magical Treasures snatched by the Divine Demons. Even though Yu Xiangzhu herself was protected by Taibai Essence Qi and Heavenly Star Liquid, an Old Demon’s remote influence suddenly caused her to lose her mind. She became ferociously enraged and attacked her own companions with the most brutal Spells, leading to a frenzied infighting. Two Yu Xiangzhus, invisible to the eye, positioned themselves at both sides of Shi Pi the Elder’s Blood Flame Lotus Platform, one to the south and one to the north, poised to simultaneously strike and shatter the platform.

Suddenly, the Old Demon swept his horsetail whisk, once to the left, once to the right, and immediately a large amount of Shura Blood Flame burst forth, rolling backward like a waterfall, trapping both Yu Xiangzhus within.

Yu Xiangzhu was no weakling. Realizing she had been discovered by the enemy, she let out a piercing cry and released all her ready Flying Sword Magical Treasures in an instant.

After the two masses of Shura Blood Flame enveloped her, they instantly spawned a multitude of Golden Sabers, Golden Arrows, and Golden Needles—the Demon Soldiers converged and fired inward. She cast Spells to strike outward; her Flying Sword Magical Treasures, along with a plethora of Thunder Pearls, blasted outward, dispersing the Shura Blood Flame all at once and shattering the spawned Golden Sabers and Golden Arrows into smithereens.

Seeing that the counterattack was effective, both Yu Xiangzhus let out a battle cry, attacking from south and north simultaneously, putting all their might against Shi Pi the Elder.

Little did she know that Shi Pi the Elder was aware that Blood Flame Gold Saber could not annihilate her; these were merely overt tactics. In reality, he had covertly called back two Demons, hidden within the Blood Flame.

Yu Xiangzhu shattered the Blood Flame Gold Saber, dispersing it, and along with it, the two Demons were blasted into ten thousand strands of Demon Light.

Shi Pi the Elder sneered, his left hand forming the Five Mountains True Form Technique, making the Five Mountains Divine Peaks in the air a hundred times heavier. The flames that erupted multiplied, and the thousand-zhang-high mountains turned into five massive fireballs, thundering down. That one impact alone caused the disciples who were fully exerting themselves to prop up the mountains to spit blood in unison!

Shi Pi the Elder then bit his fingertip, formed a Demon Technique with his hand, recited a Secret Spell, and with a flick of his horsetail whisk, conjured thousands of Blood Flames and millions of Golden Sabers, clashing with Master Yu Wa and her disciples in a struggle of power.

The two fought in this manner for about the time it takes to drink a cup of tea, when suddenly the roaring within the Mixed Element Qi Sphere intensified, growing louder and louder, until it could no longer withstand the pressure and exploded abruptly.

"Crack!" A sharp and thunderous blast resounded as the Mixed Element Qi Sphere was blown apart from within, bursting into a cloud of blue smoke, freeing the eight demons with their howls.

During this standoff period, Yu Wa’s disciples were spitting blood one after another, severely injured, and many of them could not withstand a single blow from the demons.

She hurriedly unleashed the Ruyi Golden Hook, and with a fierce shout, a hundred-zhang Golden Rainbow swept across, cutting all eight demons in half at their waists!

Yu Wa’s hand formed a sword technique, guiding the Golden Hook through the air as the Golden Rainbow spun and crisscrossed, slashing, wiping, cutting, and slicing, reducing the eight demons to fragments.
