CHAPTER 25: YOU DIDN’T KNOW!

Ling Yu even had a fight with Ru Feifei over Xu Mochen, but it wasn’t her fault. In fact, Jiang Meng was the one who actually seduced Xu Mochen and took him on her side.

"Why are there so many students here today? I didn’t know something important would be discussed in today’s seminar?" Ling Yu asked Ru Feifei after seeing the swarm of students filling the room.

"You didn’t know?! Today, there would be a prodigal son; a big shot would come to deliver the lecture. It’s no wonder all the girls swarmed in just to take a glimpse at his godly appearance!" Ru Feifei said as she looked at Ling Yu in disbelief.

But then, as if she remembered something all of a sudden, she said, "Oh! And then, I almost forgot, you only have Xu Mochen in your eyes, you don’t care to take another man in your eyes at all!"

Ling Yu chuckled as she replied, "Well, you don’t need to worry about that, I won’t be looking at Xu Mochen from now on since I don’t have a reason to."

After hearing this, Ru Feifei’s expression changed as she looked at Ling Yu deeply.

"Yu’er, what are you talking about? Are the rumors true? Did you really abdicate yourself from the Royal family?"

"Mhmm," She replied simply, "I volunteered to step off the scene and asked for compensation. After that, I got a Manor in the Eastern territory and have been living there for quite a while now."

"...! Really?! Are you sure you’re okay? Did nothing bad happen?" Ling Yu was surprised by Ru Feifei’s sudden behavior, shaking Ling Yu with eyes full of concern.

’Is she asking whether the Royal family will let me go without any setback? How caring...’ Ling Yu thought as she smiled, remembering the daily assassination attempts back in the Estate that came almost every day.

It would be too suspicious if she acted all innocent and suddenly started fighting monsters out of nowhere, even though Song never asks her any questions.

That’s why she wanted to make up a reasonable explanation, even though anyone can see how fake she acted when she handled those assassins.

Mostly, the reason to take care of them personally was because she was too bored, so she wanted to use them as her guinea pigs and experiment with various fighting techniques on them!

Even though she could use Song to spar with her, he was too precious to get hurt ah!
