CHAPTER 210: CHAPTERS 209-210: BEEN SINGLE TOO LONG, FEELING A BIT LONELY

That night, Qin Muni was once again sleepless.

After taking a few sleeping pills and finally falling asleep, she unexpectedly had a sensual dream.

Xu Yisen arrived at the restaurant just before 2:30, and Dong Chujun came to ask if Qin Muni wanted to receive him.

"Alright."

Not long after Dong Chujun left, the door to the office was knocked again.

The door was opened and then gently closed, and then she heard soft footsteps approaching.

The sound of the footsteps was too familiar. She suddenly lifted her head and met a pair of smiling eyes.

Qin Muni stared at Xu Yisen, her mind suddenly flooded with images she had just managed to suppress, now quickly resurfacing.

After a long pause, she finally stammered, "Why... why are you here?"

Xu Yisen slightly raised the shopping bag in his hand, "Your partner came to save your feet."

As he finished speaking, he stepped around the desk and walked to the other side, gently spinning Qin Muni’s office chair to face him.

Qin Muni slightly tilted her head up, dazedly watching him as he took out a shoebox from the shopping bag and opened the lid, revealing a pair of black Manolo Blahnik flats inside.

Xu Yisen knelt on one knee, placed the shoebox on the floor, and gently removed her high heels.

He placed the high heels beside the shoebox and took out the flats, considerately helping her put them on.

Xu Yisen remained kneeling, looking slightly up at Qin Muni, who was sitting in the office chair.

His obsidian eyes shone as he gazed at her, casting a splendid ripple of elegance.
