Chapter 319: Missing You… Seems Real
CHAPTER 319: CHAPTER 319: MISSING YOU... SEEMS REAL
Everyone covered their mouths, suppressing the urge to burst into laughter.
After all, in front of everyone, Xu Yisen had always maintained a high-profile image, and it was the first time they heard him speak so gently and emotionally.
The teasing glances from everyone made Munni’s cheeks flush, "Take care, see you when you get back."
"Yeah, see you when I get back."
Munni hung up the phone, and everyone finally couldn’t help but laugh out loud. Fujino Doxu gave Munni’s arm a playful nudge with his elbow, "Things are going well with Chairman Xu lately, huh."
Munni didn’t answer, quickly changing the subject, "Why didn’t you bring your girlfriend tonight?"
"She’s on duty tonight and couldn’t come."
Munni nodded, and everyone continued playing the game. She slightly leaned over and spun the bottle on the table, directing it at Dong Chujun, who had just teased her.
She shot Dong Chujun a mischievous smile, and he had a bad feeling. Sure enough, Munni didn’t let him go and mischievously got back at him.
The game went on for another twenty minutes, and after that daring adventure, Munni luckily was not picked again. When she was plotting to get Fujino Doxu to take on a dare, the door of the private room suddenly opened.
Everyone thought it was a waiter coming in and didn’t pay it any mind until someone sharp-eyed noticed that it was Xu Yisen, who was supposedly on his way to the airport, preparing to fly to France.
"Oh my God, Chairman Xu really came."
An exclamation drew everyone’s attention in the room, and they all looked towards the door in unison.
Xu Yisen’s elegant and handsome figure unexpectedly entered everyone’s view, and when he met Munni’s surprised gaze, a soft smile involuntarily spread across his lips.
He walked gracefully towards Munni, and everyone tactfully stepped aside, allowing him to smoothly reach Munni.
"You... why did you come? Weren’t you about to reach the airport?"
"You missed me, how could I not come?"
The smile spreading across his brows seemed like a faint starlight in the night sky, utterly beautiful.
He caught a glimpse of the bottle on the table from the corner of his eye and guessed that everyone had probably been playing Truth or Dare.
He couldn’t help but smile, understanding why the usually reserved Munni would suddenly call him saying she missed him, "Was that a dare just now?"
Munni stood up, gave him a gentle smile, and nodded, "Yeah, it was."
Yisen’s brows curved slightly, and the captivating brilliance flowed in his starlit black eyes as he whispered, "I truly missed you."
"Wow!!"
The employees watching secretly couldn’t help but exclaim.
Then someone shouted, "Boss, your dare isn’t finished yet."
Munni curled her lips into a smile, her eyes filled with a dazzling charm, and she beckoned to Yisen, "Come here, I have a secret to whisper to you."
Yisen obediently stepped closer, slightly bending down, waiting for her to whisper in his ear.
Munni hooked her arm around his neck and unhesitatingly kissed his alluring thin lips.
A chorus of whistles and laughter erupted from the group of employees watching the spectacle.
And for Yisen, it was as if time stood still, the noise around him was drowned out by the sound of his own pounding heartbeat. All he could hear was the rapid thumping of his heart.
A warmth spread throughout his chest, making him feel as if he were walking on clouds, floating, yet happily indescribable.
Just as everyone had suggested, the kiss ended after a minute.
Munni still held Yisen’s shoulder, whispering softly in his ear: "Now that’s a dare. Missing you... seems quite real."
