CHAPTER 364: CHAPTER 364: MARRIAGE IS THE GRAVE OF LOVE

[Miss Qin, I baked some cupcakes at home this morning, and specially brought some for you to taste. Hope you like them.]

Qin Muni opened the refrigerator, where a transparent plastic food container sat in the empty fridge, holding eight exquisite and delicious cupcakes.

She stared at the cupcakes for a few seconds, then carefully reached out to take the box, holding it as she walked out of the kitchen, across the dining room, changed her shoes at the entrance, and left the house.

She took the elevator to the seventeenth floor, and after getting off the elevator, she strolled over to Xu Yisen’s front door and rang the doorbell.

Xu Yisen was just about to eat dinner at home, when suddenly the doorbell rang next to his ear.

He put down the utensils in his hand, stood up from the dining table, walked to the door, and saw Qin Muni standing outside on the monitor. His initial surprise vanished quickly, replaced by joy.

He opened the door and looked at Qin Muni, laughing and asking, "Munni, what brings you here?"

Qin Muni slightly lifted the box of cupcakes in her hand, "The helper auntie made me cupcakes, and I thought I’d share them with you."

Yisen’s deep black eyes flashed a doting smile as he stepped aside to invite Qin Muni inside, "Come in, have you had dinner?"

Qin Muni carried the box of cupcakes, walked past him into the room while changing her shoes at the entrance, and replied, "Not yet."

"Perfect timing, I just made dinner, let’s eat together."

"Hmm, okay."

The two walked into the kitchen one after the other, Qin Muni put the cupcakes in the fridge first, then walked to the sink to wash her hands.

Xu Yisen added a set of dishes and chopsticks at the table, placing them at the seat opposite him.

After washing her hands, Qin Muni walked over to the dining table, sat down opposite Xu Yisen, scanned the four dishes and one soup on the table, and teased, "Looks like I’m in for a treat again."

Laughing, Yisen peeled some shrimp, jokingly saying, "So, marry me sooner, and you’ll be in for a treat every day."

"I’ve heard the difference between men before and after marriage is huge, don’t believe these sweet words before marriage."

Her teasing words made Xu Yisen’s expression slightly serious, and he proposed, "Why don’t you marry me to see? You’ll realize the rumors are false."

As he spoke, he placed the peeled shrimp into Qin Muni’s bowl.

Throughout the meal, both enjoyed it immensely, and the atmosphere at the dinner table was very pleasant.

Qin Muni was sitting cross-legged in the living room, flipping through the TV channels with the remote control.
