Chapter 384: The Front Pages of All Major Newspapers Are Birthday Wishes for You
CHAPTER 384: CHAPTER 384: THE FRONT PAGES OF ALL MAJOR NEWSPAPERS ARE BIRTHDAY WISHES FOR YOU
About ten minutes from Fanluo Residence, there’s a famous art gallery. Xu Yisen drove all the way to the gallery, and the two continued chatting nonchalantly on the journey.
Finally, after ten minutes, the car came to a stop at the entrance of the exhibition. The doorman stepped forward to open the car door for them.
Xu Yisen got out of the car, deftly fastening the button on his suit jacket, then walked around the car to Miss Qin’s side.
Munni naturally took his arm, and together they walked into the art gallery.
Entering the gallery required ticket verification, and Xu Yisen took out his phone, opened the QR code, and let the employee scan it.
After scanning the QR code, the employee smiled warmly at Munni and voiced a greeting, "Miss Qin, happy birthday."
Munni showed a surprised expression, finding it unbelievable that the employee knew her birthday.
She glanced sideways at Xu Yisen, silently asking him with her eyes whether he had prepared some surprise.
Xu Yisen looked at her innocently, shaking his head.
"Thank you." Although puzzled about how the employee knew it was her birthday, Munni politely thanked him.
As soon as they entered the gallery, the manager eagerly approached them, and kindly greeted, "Miss Qin, happy birthday."
"Thank you."
Thanking the gallery manager, Munni once again side-eyed Xu Yisen, suspiciously eyeing him, feeling he might have planned something.
However, when Xu Yisen faced her suspicious gaze, he shook his head innocently, indicating he really had no idea what was going on.
Munni squinted skeptically and whispered, "Honestly, are you up to something again?"
"I’m not up to anything."
Munni clearly didn’t believe him but chose not to pursue the matter further, and walked with him to stand in front of an abstract painting.
A lady standing in front of the painting also glanced at Munni and Xu Yisen, and smiled kindly at them.
Then, Munni heard the stranger sincerely wishing her, "Miss Qin, happy birthday."
It had only been five minutes in the gallery, and already three people had wished her a happy birthday.
Munni’s eyes glanced at Xu Yisen, who still looked innocent and seemed unaware.
Finally, unable to suppress her curiosity, she politely asked, "Thank you for the wishes. But how did you know today is my birthday?"
Munni’s question surprised the woman, "You didn’t read the newspaper?"
"Newspaper?"
"Today’s major newspapers have your birthday wishes on the front page."
The woman’s answer caught Munni off guard. Noticing the surprise on Munni’s face, the woman figured it might be a surprise from Xu Yisen that Munni wasn’t aware of yet.
Thinking she shouldn’t spoil it being an outsider, she warmly wished again, "Wishing you happiness," and smiled before leaving.
Only after the woman left did Munni come to her senses. She took Xu Yisen’s arm and headed toward the exit.
"Where are we going? Not seeing the exhibition?"
"To the newsstand."
Xu Yisen’s lips curled into a smile, letting Munni take him out of the art gallery.
Across the street from the gallery, there was a small newsstand. Munni held Xu Yisen’s arm, standing at the traffic light.
