The Billionaire CEO Wants to Marry Me Every Day
Chapter 181: A Rift Between Mother and Son
CHAPTER 181: CHAPTER 181: A RIFT BETWEEN MOTHER AND SON
The photo was a passport photo, and the girl in it had her hair tied up in a bun that accentuated her facial shape. Even though it was just a passport photo, her bright eyes and white teeth made her smile resemble a pear blossom, subtly radiant, flowing into the picture like the wind, stunningly beautiful.
For a mere passport photo to look like this, one could imagine how beautiful she must be in person.
Susan Stone was immediately struck by the girl’s beauty in the photo at first glance, but then she realized that the girl in the photo looked remarkably similar to someone she knew who had passed away.
The resemblance was striking, reaching almost a six or seven out of ten.
This similarity reminded Susan of some very unpleasant memories, causing goosebumps to erupt on her arms.
Was this a coincidence?
It must be!
Susan showed the photo to Willow Grant with much reluctance and asked, "Is this the girl you met today?"
Willow recognized Summer Monroe immediately. Such beauty was unforgettable to anyone who beheld it.
She nodded and said, "That’s her."
Susan breathed a sigh of relief.
She knew it was a coincidence; it couldn’t possibly be that person’s daughter.
She frowned and asked the butler, "How did she come into contact with Damian?"
A mere waitress, how could she possibly have had the opportunity to get close to her son?
The butler, following what he had found out, continued, "This young lady was introduced at the hotel banquet a couple of days ago by a group of business partners as a...gift to the young master."
The butler felt incredibly ashamed to utter the word "gift."
For a moment, Susan’s face turned green.
A mere plaything gifted by a business partner to her son, and yet her son rejected the debutante she had personally chosen from Rivain for the sake of this disreputable plaything?
Truly blinded by something filthy, unable to see who was truly worthy of him.
"You ungrateful brat! How dare you mingle with a filthy seductress like that? Call him immediately and tell that brat to get back here!"
Susan was so furious that her chest heaved violently.
Willow also hadn’t expected that apart from being just a humble waitress, the girl was also someone gifted to Damian Knight as a bed companion.
Such a companion could hardly threaten her status, for such a person would absolutely never be accepted by the Knight Family.
Willow suppressed a smile, gently held onto Susan, and consoled her softly, "Young Master is still young, and besides, with such a good-looking girl, it’s normal for him to be momentarily tempted."
"Normal? It might be normal for others, but his identity does not allow him to be normal! No, I need to go and drag that kid back myself! Butler, prepare the car!"
Willow quickly stopped Susan, saying, "Auntie, don’t be rash! Young Master Knight is at an age of rebellion. The more forceful you are, the more he will want to do the opposite. Think about Young Master’s personality—can you really persuade him to come back by force? Doing so will only estrange you from your son!"
The words "estrange you from your son" finally calmed Susan down.
She was silent for two seconds and then asked Willow, "So what do you think I should do now? Let him continue to consort with that unclean thing?"
"Of course not." Willow’s eyes shifted, and she said, "You may not be able to persuade Young Master, but you can persuade the girl. Isn’t her purpose in approaching Young Master all too clear?"
Susan’s eyes lit up instantly: "Money!"
Just give that little seductress enough money—why bother being a secret bed partner?
The little seductress herself surely knows she could never marry into the Knight Family.
"Clever! Willow, you’re too clever!" Susan praised, tapping Willow’s shoulder lightly. "The Young Mistress of the Knight Family should be a girl like you, so smart and with a big picture in mind."
