Chapter 333: Deliberate
CHAPTER 333: CHAPTER 333: DELIBERATE
Summer Monroe didn’t know what to say. After a pause, she asked, "What’s your name?"
"Katherine Kane."
Summer Monroe nodded, "Then I will call you Cece. Cece, don’t worry about anything else, just focus on recovering. I’ll have someone look for Bella; maybe he’s still alive."
Upon hearing Summer Monroe say this, a fleeting glint flashed through Katherine Kane’s eyes.
At that moment, Leah Lowell knocked on the door and came in.
"Miss, the master is looking for you."
"I know." Summer Monroe stood up and instructed, "Take good care of her."
"Don’t worry, Miss. I will take good care of this lady."
Summer Monroe nodded and stepped out.
In the hall, Henry Stanton was looking for her.
As soon as Summer Monroe got there, Henry Stanton frowned and reproached, "I’ve been looking for you for a long time, where did you go?"
Summer Monroe lowered her eyes, revealing a somewhat aggrieved expression, "I went to the back garden to offer incense to my sister."
With this answer, Henry Stanton couldn’t say anything further, and only said, "Your grandmother has woken up. She hasn’t eaten all day, and she refused what the servants brought her. Why don’t you make some dumplings for her? I noticed she really likes them."
Summer Monroe cheerfully agreed, "As long as Grandma likes to eat them, I’ll go make some right away."
She said this and eagerly headed towards the kitchen.
Through the reflective glass, she saw Henry Stanton’s satisfied smile.
Her lips curled coldly as she stepped into the kitchen.
Several chefs stood in the kitchen, probably notified in advance, all waiting by the side.
Summer Monroe directly said, "I’ll do it myself, you can all leave."
The chefs dared not disobey and quickly left.
Summer Monroe rummaged through the fridge, casually picked out a few ingredients, and started making dumpling filling.
While preparing, she made a phone call to her subordinate.
The call was quickly connected, and a respectful voice came through, "Miss San."
Summer Monroe cut straight to the point, "Did you spot Felix Jennings outside the psychiatric hospital?"
"No, I think he hasn’t received the news yet. But I’ve installed surveillance in Stella Monroe’s room. If he arrives, I’ll be the first to know."
"Good," Summer Monroe said with satisfaction, "Find a way to spread the news about Stella Monroe’s admission. Also..."
Summer Monroe continued to deftly chop the cabbage, "There are two more things you need to do."
Her subordinate respectfully said, "Your instructions."
Summer Monroe briefly explained the search for Bella and instructed them to go to Stanton Estate to find a little boy named Dottie.
"Take my photo when you look for him. Once you find him, he’ll give you something, bring it back to me."
"Yes!"
The call ended, and Summer Monroe’s dumpling filling was ready.
There were ready-made dumpling skins in the manor, and Summer Monroe directly called in two chefs to wrap them. Shortly, a plate of steaming dumplings was freshly cooked.
She personally carried them to her grandmother.
Henry Stanton happened to be in the grandmother’s room and, seeing her enter, smiled, "Mom, Summer has made dumplings for you, why don’t you eat a few?"
Upon hearing about the dumplings, the grandmother moved her eyelids reluctantly and said, "Bring them over."
Summer Monroe bowed to present the dumplings to her grandmother, who didn’t glance at her and took one immediately.
But then, the grandmother frowned and said, "Why do they taste so bad? You’re doing it on purpose, aren’t you?! Are you trying to starve me?"
Summer Monroe’s face was innocent, "Grandma, I followed my usual recipe..."
