"Oh, I see..." Summer Monroe looked disappointed.

Henry Stanton didn’t respond, looking as if he was focused on driving.

But Summer could tell his eyes were constantly moving, a sign of guilt.

After committing murder, guilt was only natural.

She sneered inwardly. Sitting in the same car with Henry Stanton now made her feel sick, and she just hoped they’d reach the psychiatric hospital soon.

Just as the car was nearing their destination, Henry’s phone suddenly rang.

His phone was in the car’s phone holder, and Summer saw the caller ID at a glance: Felix Jennings.

Felix Jennings?!

Felix Jennings was in contact with Henry Stanton?

This was completely unexpected for Summer, but she hid her emotions well, maintaining a very calm expression.

Henry directly connected the call through the car’s Bluetooth.

"Hello, Jennings."

"Chairman," Felix Jennings’s voice echoed through the car, "There’s a new project at the overseas branch that needs Stella’s signature, but I haven’t been able to reach her. Can you contact her?"

This statement surprised Summer even more.

So, Henry also knew that Stella Monroe had started a company overseas?

Henry’s face showed slight embarrassment as he hesitated to ask, "Does it have to be her signature? Can’t you, as her right-hand man, sign on her behalf?"

Felix replied, "This project exceeds my authority; it’s a multi-million-dollar order and requires her personal signature and a video recording, so it must be her in person."

"Multi-million!" Henry’s eyes lit up with surprise and confusion, "Isn’t her company always in the red? How did they suddenly land such a huge order?"

But when Summer heard this, it sounded different to her.

She had found that every one of Stella Monroe’s overseas assets was profitable, with substantial profits. When were they ever losing money?

It must be that the company Henry knew and the one she knew were completely different.

It seemed that Stella Monroe and Felix Jennings were playing Henry for a fool.

If Henry knew that Felix Jennings, whom he regarded merely as Stella’s employee, was having an affair with her, how would he react?

Summer’s lips curled as she heard Felix say, "That’s right. This order was hard-won after six months of effort. Stella and I were counting on this order to turn the company around. What’s going on with her? Why can’t she come to sign it?"

Felix spoke again, "Chairman, if we manage to secure this order, the company could land such orders every quarter. We can’t miss this opportunity!"

Felix’s words finally cemented Henry’s resolve.

He exhaled heavily, gritted his teeth, and said, "I understand. I’m on my way to see her now, why don’t you come along too?"

Felix asked, "What’s the address?"

"Ross Psychiatric Hospital."

"What?!" Felix sounded utterly shocked.

But Summer sensed a hint of deliberation in his voice.

She raised an eyebrow slightly, thinking that Felix was smart, knowing that using Henry’s presence to see Stella would be more convenient and safe.

Felix said, "I happen to be nearby; I’ll be there in ten minutes."
