CHAPTER 70: CHAPTER 70: I’LL DO IT!

Damian Knight’s eyes were fixed intently on Summer Monroe. This face had been appearing in his mind more than once recently, and he didn’t understand why.

All he knew was that when he heard Julian Kingston had fallen for Summer at first sight and intended to pursue her, a kind of anger had begun to slip out of his control.

And he had always been someone who could well bury his emotions deep inside.

"Damian Knight!"

Summer’s voice pulled his chaotic emotions back to reality.

He suddenly regained his composure and released Summer’s hand.

He noticed that Summer’s wrist had turned red from his earlier grip, even tending towards a purple hue.

Her skin... was it too delicate?

Damian felt a twinge of guilt but still maintained a cold expression as he said, "You mentioned repaying me earlier. I haven’t thought about how yet, but before I figure it out, don’t flirt with other men."

Summer’s brow furrowed even tighter.

"What on earth are you talking about... When did I flirt with other men? And why do you keep bringing up this repayment thing? I told you it was just a joke."

However, Damian didn’t listen to her at all, turning around and walking out quickly. His pace was so fast that the wind lifted Summer’s hair.

"This guy... what a lunatic!" Summer cursed Damian while tending to her aching wrist.

How did such a terrible temper come to be!

Soon the filming officially started.

The initial shoots went very smoothly; it was only later that the director had a sudden idea to add a scene.

"After the princess falls in love with the Midnight Coffee House coffee, she offers it to the prince who usually ignores her. Because of this cup of coffee, the prince grows fond of the princess, and they live happily together," the director said excitedly. "Adding this scene makes the commercial’s storyline more complete."

Summer stiffly smiled and said, "Falling in love with the princess over a cup of coffee? Isn’t that a bit illogical?"

The director shook his head in denial, "Fairy tales aren’t about logic; if they were, the story of the prince finding Cinderella with just a glass slipper wouldn’t exist. With so many suitable shoe sizes, how did he find the right one?"

Summer: "..."

It seemed so reasonable, she had no way to refute it.

A nearby assistant raised a realistic problem: "But where can we find an actor for the ’prince’ at such short notice?"

The director was stumped.

Yeah, Summer is so beautiful, truly a real-life fairy tale princess. Just finding anyone wouldn’t make the scene as perfect.

At this moment...

"I’ll do it!" A clear voice came through.

Summer looked over in surprise to see Julian Kingston, dressed in black casual wear, striding over.

Julian stopped about a meter away from Summer and said to the director, "Since I’m idle anyway, I’ll just play a small role. Director, do you think I’m suitable?"

With his tall and sturdy figure, Julian had thick eyebrows and dark eyes that added a touch of ruggedness to his features, coupled with his foreign lineage that gave him an air of nobility.

And his tanned skin and well-toned yet not exaggerated muscles were bonuses.

He was the standard image of a model man!

The director’s eyes lit up instantly.

With such a handsome man and a beautiful woman, this commercial was bound to be a hit!

The director nodded vigorously: "If you’re willing to shoot, that’s perfect... but we’ll have to find some clothing, the casual look won’t do. It’s best to find a suit."

Julian came from a military family and rarely wore suits unless for very formal occasions.

He paused, looking at Damian Knight standing silently not far away, his eyebrows suddenly lifted as he happily said, "I’ve got an idea! Damian, lend me your suit."
