CHAPTER 46: TRUTH, DARE AND DEATH OF A VIRGIN PLAN

By the time one week had passed, my house didn’t look like my house anymore.

It looked like... a home. Married life simulator, Val edition.

Everything was neat, organized, and stocked like some Pinterest family board. The fridge was full, the kitchen had actual food, my living room looked like a place where humans lived and not just a half-feral college guy.

Downside? I was very horny. Like, criminally.

And I was almost certain it was her fault.

She had this habit—no, strategy—of walking around in my clothes. My hoodie, my t-shirt, sometimes just the shirt with her legs bare and the universe tempting me to sin. And I couldn’t prove it, but I knew she was doing it on purpose. Because she’s Celestia.

And now?

Now she was curled up on my couch, watching some movie I wasn’t even following, while I sat next to her pretending my brain was still functional. Spoiler: it wasn’t.

My eyes kept betraying me—sliding to her thighs, back to the screen, then her thighs again, then her lips, then her thighs again—

God help me.

"...Kai."

Her voice made me jump like I’d been caught stealing.

I blinked, looking at her. "Huh?"

She smirked, not taking her eyes off the TV. "You’re staring."

"I’m not." The lie was instant, reflexive, pathetic.

"Mhm." She finally turned to face me, that little grin already spreading. "So your eyes keep wandering to my legs because... what? You’re checking if I shaved?"

I choked on air. "Val—"

She shifted, casually tucking one leg under the other, which somehow made more thigh show. "You were staring," she said, sing-song.

"I wasn’t—"

"Yes, you were. It’s fine though. My boyfriend’s allowed to stare." She leaned closer, whispering, "Actually, I kind of expect it."

My ears were hot. My whole face was hot. My everything was hot. "I wasn’t—"

Her grin widened. "You weren’t, huh? Then where were you looking?"

"...The TV."

She gasped dramatically. "So you’re telling me Vin Diesel’s bald head is sexier than my legs?"

"Val—"

"No, no, don’t backtrack. That’s cold, babe. Real cold." She poked my chest, feigning a pout. "I dress in your shirt just for you and you’re drooling over bald guys?"

"I am not drooling—"

She cut me off with a laugh, sliding closer until her thigh brushed against mine. My brain short-circuited. Contact. Actual thigh-to-thigh contact. Abort mission.

"Relax," she said softly, her grin lazy now. "I told you before, right? You don’t have to be shy with me. You can ask for... whatever. Whenever."

I swallowed, hard. My eyes flicked—traitorous again—down her legs and then snapped back up to her eyes. Except she caught it. Of course she caught it.

"Oh my God," she whispered, delight dancing in her voice. "You’re wondering if I’m wearing anything under this shirt, aren’t you?"

My brain screamed: Don’t answer. Don’t answer. Don’t answer.

My mouth, however: "...No."

She cackled. "You’re a terrible liar, Kai."

I covered my face with one hand. "Val, please—"

She tugged at my wrist until I looked at her again, her eyes glinting with mischief. "You’re cute when you’re shy."

"I’m not—"

"Yes, you are. My cute, awkward, virgin boyfriend who stares at my thighs like he’s fighting demons."

I groaned. "Stop saying it like that."

"Like what?" she tilted her head, her grin wicked. "Like you’re one breath away from pinning me to this couch?"

I was red. She knew it, too.

"Val..." I muttered helplessly.

"Mhm?" She batted her lashes, way too pleased with herself.

"I hate you."

"No, you don’t." She pecked my cheek suddenly, soft and quick, leaving me frozen. "You love me. And you’re dying to touch me but too shy to admit it."

I opened my mouth to argue, but all that came out was a strangled noise that probably wasn’t English.

She giggled, settling back against the couch like she hadn’t just detonated my sanity. "It’s okay, babe. Two more weeks of me walking around like this... maybe you’ll finally snap."

And the way she said it, with that smug little smile, made me both terrified and very, very sure she was right.

---

After dinner that same evening, she plopped herself onto the couch with that smug little grin—the one that always meant bad news for me.

"Let’s play a game."

I narrowed my eyes. "What game?"

Her grin widened. "Truth or dare."

Oh no.

Oh no no no.

"That’s not—" I started, but she cut me off, bouncing a little where she sat.

"C’mon, Kai. It’ll be fun. Don’t be boring."

I rubbed my temples. "You know that game is just a trap when you play it."

She gasped dramatically. "Are you saying I can’t be wholesome?"

"Yes."

She threw a cushion at me. "Rude!" Then she leaned forward, her eyes gleaming like the devil himself or herself. "So? Truth or dare?"

I sighed. "...Truth."

"Coward," she muttered, before smirking. "Okay. If I lifted my shirt right now, would you look away?"

I nearly choked. "What kind of—Val!"

Her eyes sparkled. "Well? Would you?"

"...Yes."

"Liar."

I groaned. "Fine. My turn."

She grinned. "Go on, then."

I scrambled for something safe. "Okay... uh, truth. Do you like pineapple on pizza?"

She blinked, then snorted. "That’s your question? Really?"

"Yes!" I said defensively.

She smirked. "I’ll eat anything you put in my mouth."

I turned red instantly. "...That’s not what I—never mind."

She giggled. "Your turn again. Truth or dare?"

"Truth."

"Would you touch my boobs if I asked?"

"Valentina!" My whole body combusted.

"It’s a yes-or-no question, babe."

"...Next," I muttered.

She clapped her hands like she’d won something. "Okay, your turn."

I hesitated, then asked, "Uh... if I kissed you first, would you laugh at me?"

She tilted her head. "No. I’d kiss you back and ruin your life in the best way."

My ears burned. "I hate you."

She just winked. "Truth or dare?"

"Truth," I said quickly, trying to play safe.

She leaned in, lowering her voice. "Would you get hard if I whispered your name while sitting on your lap?"

My soul left my body. "Why are you like this?"

"Answer."

"...Probably," I muttered.

"See? That wasn’t so hard," she said sweetly, then added, "Well... not yet, anyway."

I groaned. "You’re evil."

"Thank you. Your turn."

I swallowed, then tried again. "Okay... if I told you not to tease me for one whole day, would you listen?"

She burst out laughing. "Absolutely not."

"Figures."

She smirked. "Truth or dare?"

"Truth."

"If I kissed you right now and then told you to take me to your bedroom... would you?"

My mouth went dry. "...Yes."

She hummed like that answer pleased her too much. "Good boy. Okay, your turn."

I panicked, blurting, "What’s your favorite color?"

She blinked. "...Kai. Really?"

"What?"

"That’s your follow-up to me basically asking if you’d sleep with me?"

"Yes!"

She rolled her eyes. "Fine. Red. Like the panties I’d wear if I bothered putting any on."

I froze. "You—"

She leaned closer, smiling like a cat. "Truth or dare?"

"Truth."

She tilted her head, eyes glinting. "What if I told you I wasn’t wearing anything under this shirt... would you be able to keep watching the movie?"

My heart slammed against my ribs. "...No."

She made a satisfied hum. "Adorable. Your turn, lover boy."

I scrambled for another. "Okay... if you had to choose, would you rather eat ramen for a month or... uh... stay off your phone for a month?"

She grinned. "Ramen. Easy. Especially if you’re the one cooking it shirtless."

I nearly fainted. "That’s not—why do you answer like that?"

"Because it’s fun."

I knew what she was doing. I knew she wanted me to cave, to pick "dare."

And I swore I wouldn’t but she just kept going.

One question after another, each more diabolical than the last:

"Would you get jealous if another guy touched my thigh?"

"Would you survive seeing me change in your room without fainting?"

"Would you lose your mind if I told you to kiss every inch of me?"

By the tenth one, my face was burning, my throat dry, my body betraying me. She was relentless.

And I cracked.

"...Dare."

The word left my mouth before I could take it back.

Her smile turned wolfish. She sat up straighter, eyes locking with mine like a predator finally catching its prey. "Oh, finally."

I swallowed, instantly regretting everything. "W-What’s the dare?"

Her eyes lit up, victorious. She sat up straighter, slowly hooking her fingers at the hem of her shirt—my shirt—and then stopped, leaving it hovering just above her stomach.

"I dare you..." she said softly, eyes boring into mine, "to raise it for me. With your own hands."

My entire body froze.

"Don’t look away," she whispered. "Do it while staring right at me."

I couldn’t breathe. Couldn’t think. My hands twitched like moving them would set something on fire.

She tilted her head, smiling dangerously. "What’s wrong, babe? You scared?"

"...Yes," I admitted immediately.

She laughed, low and delighted. "That’s okay. I’ll let you be brave for me, just this once."

Her words sent shivers down my spine. My pulse hammered in my ears. Slowly, hesitantly, I lifted my trembling hands.

Her eyes never left mine, daring me, teasing me, owning me.

And at that moment, I knew... I probably wouldn’t make it up to second semester with my virginity intact. I’d planned on keeping it way longer, but with Val—yeah, that plan was dead."
