CHAPTER 166: CAN’T WAIT TO TRY THIS BED WITH YOU

After landing in Switzerland, they spent more than an hour on the road, heading toward the house where Cassidy and Claire used to live.

Since Andrew had relatives in Switzerland, he had asked one of them to welcome Zeke and his family and also serve as their driver for the next few days. Andrew had promised to pay him double his weekly salary, so his relative gladly agreed, eager to help and make sure everything went smoothly.

Inside the car, Claire pressed her face against the window, her eyes wide with wonder as the scenery passed by, green fields, snowy peaks in the distance, and neat little houses that reminded her of the place she used to call home.

For this trip, Zeke only brought along a few bodyguards. He was confident the journey was discreet enough, very few people even knew about it. Besides, he doubted the enemies would follow them all the way overseas.

The reduced security made the atmosphere lighter, almost like a real family vacation. Claire didn’t feel the usual crowd of men in black around them, and Zeke could see how much more relaxed Cassidy seemed because of it.

After driving for over an hour, they finally arrived at Cassidy’s house in Switzerland. The house was cool and private, set apart from other homes, surrounded by greenery, and tucked away in a quiet area. The fresh mountain air greeted them as they stepped out of the car.

Claire immediately jumped out, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "Mommy! It looks the same as when we used to live here!" she shouted, running across the yard and kicking through the scattered dry leaves.

Cassidy smiled warmly at her daughter. "Yes, sweetheart. We’ll be staying here again for the next few days. You must have missed this house, right?"

She and Zeke walked behind Claire as she spun around the yard, laughing happily.

Claire nodded. "Yes, I also miss my old bedroom."

Cassidy called out to Claire to stop running. She reached into her bag, took out the house key, and walked toward the front door. Carefully, she slid the key into the lock and opened the door.

Inside the house, everything looked spotless. Cassidy had asked Henry to hire a cleaner to tidy up the place every day, even though they no longer lived there. She knew she would be back soon, maybe not to stay permanently, but since Cy. Noire’s headquarters were in Switzerland, she wanted the house to be tidy whenever she returned.

Cassidy looked at Zeke and said, "This is it. This was my home for almost four years when I lived here. What do you think?"

Zeke glanced around the house and at Cassidy. "Cozy, comfy, and I like it."

Cassidy turned to Claire with a smile. "Alright, sweetheart, why don’t you show Daddy around the house? Give him a little tour."

Claire’s eyes sparkled as she grabbed Zeke’s hand. "Come on, Daddy! Let’s go! I’ll show you everything!"

Zeke chuckled, letting her tug him along. "Alright, princess, lead the way. I’m ready."

Claire walked ahead through the house, her little steps quick and excited, with Zeke close behind her. Cassidy followed a few paces back, smiling as she watched her daughter confidently show off every corner.

When they reached Claire’s bedroom, the little girl stopped abruptly and tried to open the door handle. "Huh... it’s locked," she said, frowning.

Cassidy caught up and smiled warmly, holding out a key from her bunch. "Here, sweetheart. This one will open your room," she said, handing it to Claire.

Zeke chuckled softly, watching as Claire’s eyes lit up. "Looks like someone’s ready to show Daddy their kingdom," he teased, a gentle smile spreading across his face.

Cassidy caught up and smiled warmly, pulling out one key from her set of keys. "Here, sweetheart. This one will open your room," she said, handing it to Claire.

Before Claire could take it, Zeke reached out and gently took the key from Cassidy’s hand. "How about I do it for you, princess?" he said with a little smile.

She quickly nodded. "Okay, Daddy! Open it, open it!"

The room was just as it had been, bright and playful. A small bed with pastel pink sheets sat against the wall, covered with stuffed animals. The shelves were lined with picture books and a few dolls, while colorful drawings that Claire had made with crayons were still taped to the wall. A tiny table and chair stood near the window, where she used to sit and play tea party with her dolls.

"It didn’t change. My dolls are still here." she said with a huge smile.

Cassidy leaned against the doorframe, her lips curving warmly. "Looks just the same as when we left, doesn’t it?"

"Yes, Mommy. I missed it so much." Claire rushed to her bed, picked up one of her dolls, and hugged it happily.

Zeke stepped further inside, his eyes roaming the colorful walls and tiny furniture. He let out a quiet chuckle. "I can see why you love it here, princess. It really feels like your little world."

Cassidy clapped her hands lightly, catching Claire’s attention. "Alright, sweetheart. Don’t stop now. You’re the tour guide today, remember? Show Daddy the rest of the house."

"Okay, Mommy." She carefully put her doll back on the bed, then eagerly grabbed Zeke’s hand. "Come on, Daddy, this way!"

Zeke let himself be pulled along, throwing Cassidy a small amused smile over his shoulder.

Claire kept walking with quick little steps, her voice bubbling with excitement as she pointed around. "This is my playroom, Daddy! Look, all my toys are still here."

She tugged him along again, leading him to another door. "And this is where Mommy works. She always sits here with her laptop and papers."

Zeke peeked inside with a small nod, clearly impressed.

Then Claire hurried on, her little pigtails bouncing as she stopped at the last door. She pressed her hand against the handle with a proud grin. "And this one... this is Mommy’s room. It’s really big!"

Cassidy walked up, taking the key ring from Zeke’s hand. She found the right key and unlocked the door with a quiet click. Pushing it open, she glanced at Zeke with a small smile.

"This is my room," she explained softly. "It’s not as big as the one we had in your villa, but it was enough for me."

Claire immediately dashed inside, she ran to explore every corner.

Zeke followed behind, his eyes quietly scanning the room that once belonged only to Cassidy.

He stepped in after her, his eyes sweeping slowly across the space. It was simple, neat, but every detail carried Cassidy’s touch, the soft curtains, the small bookshelf, the framed photos by the desk. He lingered for a moment, quietly imagining her living here without him.

"It feels... very you," he said at last, his voice low but sincere.

Zeke walked over to Cassidy’s bed and sat down, his hand brushing over the sheets.

"So this is where you used to sleep alone, huh? No wonder the bed looks untouched. Maybe it was waiting for me." he said with a teasing smirk. "Can’t wait to try this bed with you, baby."

Cassidy shot him a quick glare, her cheeks heating. "Ezekiel..." she hissed under her breath, stealing a nervous glance at Claire, who was still wandering around the room.

Zeke checked on Claire too, making sure she was distracted. Then he covered the corner of his mouth with his hand, leaning toward Cassidy as if sharing a secret. His voice dropped low. "We could make Claire a little brother or sister right here," he murmured. "I’d love to make love to you on this bed."

Cassidy’s eyes went wide, her face turned red quickly, "Are you out of your mind? Claire’s right there," she whispered sharply, though the color in her cheeks only deepened.

Zeke chuckled, his grin widening. "Who knows, maybe we’ll get lucky. We’ll try tonight, okay, baby?"

Cassidy rushed over to him in a few quick steps and clamped her hand over his mouth before he could say more. "Enough," she muttered in a low voice.

Zeke laughed against her palm, his eyes full of mischief, clearly enjoying how flustered she was.

But then, without warning, Zeke pressed his lips to her palm and sucked lightly.

Cassidy gasped, yanking her hand back in shock. "Y- You..." she stammered, "My hand’s dirty."

Zeke grinned. "Yeah, a little salty. But I like it, baby."

Cassidy was left speechless, not knowing how to respond anymore. Zeke kept flirting without shame, and she just didn’t know what to say to him.

Claire finally noticed her parents whispering and came closer. "What are you talking about, Mommy, Daddy?" she asked.

Zeke smiled right away. "Just that Mommy and Daddy will sleep here, and you’ll sleep in your own room. That’s fine, right, princess?" He gave her a playful wink, reminding her of their little secret.

Claire giggled and nodded. "Okay, Daddy."

Cassidy glanced between them with a soft smile. "Alright then... are you two hungry?"

"Yes, Mommy!" Claire answered right away.

Zeke also answered Cassidy. "Good. Because I’m starving too... though not just for food." He winked at her.
