The Cannon-Fodder Villainess Faked Her Death, Her Five Beast Mates Go Wild
Chapter 140: Foolish Rah
CHAPTER 140: CHAPTER 140: FOOLISH RAH
Seeing Rah tightly holding onto the female, Lu Di frowned slightly and warned, "Rah, you can grab any female downstairs, but she’s not for you to touch."
However, Rah showed no sense of contract spirit.
"What’s your relationship with the female?"
He lifted his eyelids, tilted his head puzzledly, and his cold, fierce brows were filled with bewilderment that seemed out of place.
Yet before Lu Di could answer, he blinked neurotically, his face showing sudden realization, and his eyes blazed, "You all covet my female too!"
The male’s curly gray hair brushed past the side of his face, and Wen Shu’s waist was loosened.
A black shadow flashed before their eyes, and Rah’s muscular arm was instantly covered with cold, hard scales, delivering deadly blows to the uncle and nephew.
The sound of fists impacting flesh reached their ears.
Wen Shu looked at Rah with curious eyes, noticing a hint of dull foolishness in his usually sharp gaze, and she formulated a plan in her mind.
She met Wu Xuan’s gaze, tightly grasping his hand, and spoke rapidly, "Leave Alentia first, we’ll meet in the dense forest in the south."
Wu Xuan heard the truth behind the surprise attack, and as long as he remained in the Empire, Lu Di would never let him go.
She appeared serious, but Wu Xuan hesitated to leave, knowing Wen Shu had many secrets, yet how could he rest assured?
"I’ll stay with you..."
His tone was firm, but just as he uttered two words, Wen Shu sternly interrupted him, "Wu Xuan, you must trust me."
Never before had she been so fierce with him, and Wu Xuan’s heart trembled, feeling inexplicably flustered, his eyes reddening.
Torn with indecision, he timidly opened his lips, ultimately unable to resist, choosing to comply.
"You must come," he tightly held Wen Shu’s soft hand, his golden eyes firmly gazing at her, and murmured, "Otherwise, I too..."
Understanding what he wanted to say, Wen Shu looked into his eyes, like those of a small animal, both anxious and stubborn, and felt a pang of acidity in her heart.
She lowered her head, kissed his lips, and gently said, "Trust me, after this, we will never be apart again."
Having said that, she pushed Wu Xuan away, and upon turning back, the three leading males were still locked in battle in the hallway.
Lu Di and Lucius were cooperating seamlessly, and Rah’s attacks were equally cunning and vicious, not falling behind even when fighting against two high-level males.
Wen Shu focused completely, listening to the noises downstairs, until the sound of metal clashing arose, and she suddenly shouted, "Rah, come here!"
Hearing her call, Rah paused momentarily, and a spider web pierced his shoulder.
But as if unaffected, a silly smile appeared on his lips as he shook off the web wrapping his arm, transformed into a shadow, and supported Wen Shu’s hips with one hand, lifting her up!
As her body lifted off the ground, Wen Shu was startled, hastily wrapping her arms around Rah’s neck, turning her face to meet his sparkling blue eyes.
The stark contrast left her stunned, and upon seeing her watching him, Rah’s lips curled into a smile, saying naively, "Female host, shall we go home now? Lan Ze..."
At this point, he stretched his neck, complaining pitifully, "Lan Ze wouldn’t let me come, he said you would hurt me, I have to go back and prove him wrong!"
He appeared innocent, but Wen Shu hadn’t forgotten how sinister and venomous he was before his mind was injured.
She took a magnet from her hidden pocket, placing it in Rah’s robe, and softened her tone while meeting his twinkling gaze, "I’m giving you a gift so there won’t be any misunderstandings, but before going home, I need your help with something..."
Before she could finish, Rah’s eyes sparkled, excitedly pressing the pocket, and babbled incoherently, "Yes! Anything!"
"There are my mother and relatives downstairs," Wen Shu spoke seriously without a trace of guilt for deceiving a fool, "could you have your people retreat first, please?"
But hearing the mention of the mother, Rah’s expression went blank for a few seconds, dodging the male’s attack, then anxiously holding her tightly and departing from the hallway.
A phantom passed before her eyes, and when Rah stopped, Wen Shu used the swaying light to see the ravaged banquet clearly.
The strong scent of blood filled her nostrils, the dining table shattered, food scattered on the floor, amidst the bodies of males.
At the entrance of the castle, panicked and angry females were being rudely stuffed into sacks.
"Those damn bandits!"
The belated guards were entangling with the bandits, nervously protecting the nobles.
In the chaotic scene, no one noticed someone appearing abruptly on the second floor, until Rah’s deep voice echoed powerfully.
"Retreat!"
In an instant, the chaotic banquet fell silent.
The disputing nobles and bandits all lifted their heads, seeing at once the beautiful female in a black dress, seated in the bandit leader’s arm.
Several males nearby froze in place, instantly recognizing her as the notorious female!
"Isn’t she the daughter of the City Lord of Su’en City?"
"How is she with the bandits!?"
Several surprised voices sounded, and the sharp-minded Beastmen immediately made connections.
A few powerful nobles exchanged secret glances, "Traitor! The bandits must have been let into Beast City by her!"
"Yes! Lady Lu Sha’s guards were probably lured away by her tricks!"
They lowered their voices to denounce her, and the bandits quickly retreated, while Rah held Wen Shu tightly, activating his superpower.
Although his form didn’t move immediately, he froze for a few seconds, thinking the superpower wasn’t working, and his figure swayed before darting out of the castle.
Seeing them trying to escape, the lead noble shouted, "Guards, capture that traitor! Restore Lady Lu Sha’s honor!"
Listening to the sounds of pursuit behind them, Wen Shu remained calm, gazing at the surrounding structures, imprinting the layout in her mind.
With Lu Di’s channels, they proceeded smoothly without hindrance.
The wind roared past her ears, until she spotted the hole in the city wall, whereupon she firmly pressed on Rah, "Wait!"
The male beneath her stopped at her command, looking at her in confusion, "What is it?"
Wen Shu wasted no time, holding his cold face with both hands, and whispered, "Rah, look at me..."
But just as she spoke, Rah’s long, white lashes fluttered uncooperatively, his eyes lowering, and a peculiar blush spread from his neck to his face.
Feeling the face in her palms grow gradually warm, Wen Shu felt a strange sensation and urged, "Look into my eyes."
Hearing her displeased voice, Rah pressed his lips together, recalling his mother’s teaching to obey the female host and not act like his father!
Enduring his shyness, he slowly lifted his eyes, but looking into the female’s eyes, more beautiful than jewels, his heart ached intensely.
"Female host, I..."
Completely unguarded, he dazedly opened his mouth, only to see the female’s eyes flash with an ethereal shimmer.
A cold voice sounded beside his ear, "I want you to make a Beast God Contract."
"If you capture a female named Bai Qiao, give the Divine Tree Leaves to her, and tell her that her young were killed by Craig and Lu Di."
Rah, his gaze vacant, repeated mechanically, "As long as I am here, the Black Thorn Valley will never harm a female again..."
"Also, don’t look for me again!" Wen Shu felt her mind stir slightly, preparing to break the contract, but her wrist was suddenly grabbed.
Her body lost balance, supporting herself on the ground, only to lift her eyes and see Lan Ze with his blue hair flying.
He glanced at the dazed Rah, his expression turning grim, his usual smiling lips drawn into a straight line, "Rah, wake up."
As he spoke, his ice-blue eyes flickered with calculation, and he looked at Wen Shu with a façade of grinning malice, "Wen Shu female, since you caused Rah to be like this, shouldn’t you also cure him?"
Seeing it was the smiling tiger, Wen Shu pressed her lips tightly.
Taking advantage of the remaining spiritual control, she ordered, "Rah, take him back to Black Thorn Valley."
Rah at the hole responded to the command, grabbing Lan Ze.
The bandits below the high wall, acting swiftly, disappeared without a trace in no time.
In the pitch-black night, Wen Shu looked up at the sky, seeing it studded with stars, her heavy heart slightly eased.
Finally, freedom was within reach!
She walked back briskly, just emerging from a concealed corner to encounter Lu Sha’s faction, eagerly searching for a scapegoat.
