Adding all this to how she had become unusually excited the last time he mentioned her baby, and how she emphatically stated that the child had nothing to do with him.

He curled his lips into a smirk and asked with alluring malevolence, “Is it possible that the child in your stomach is mine?”

“It’s not, it’s not, it’s not!” Chen Momo rebutted with great agitation.

Seeing her like this, there was a strange gleam in Qian Wenbin’s eye.

He threatened Chen Momo, “It doesn’t really matter if it’s true or not. If you don’t give me the money, I’ll tell the elder Bo and the young master that the child in your belly is mine. Wealthy people are usually suspicious, even if it’s a lie, you would be in hot water.”

Chen Momo clenched her fists. The nails dug into her flesh, causing a wave of sharp pain, this pain somehow helped her suppress the hatred and irritability she felt.
