The CEO's Paranoid and Spoiled Wife
Chapter 870 - 867 Holding Her Hand
CHAPTER 870: CHAPTER 867 HOLDING HER HAND
Just when Ji Muran was feeling a little displeased, her hand was suddenly grabbed by someone!
By instinct, Ji Muran reflexively tried to shake off the hand that suddenly grasped hers, but she couldn’t break free. Instead, she was pulled forward by that hand.
The next moment, Ji Muran saw Shen Wenzhou. The man naturally held her hand and walked forward step by step.
Ji Muran’s heart thumped wildly. She swallowed hard, stopped struggling, and allowed the man to lead her forward.
However, after focusing all her attention on Shen Wenzhou, Ji Muran stopped watching the path ahead and almost bumped into the person in front of her.
With quick reflexes, Shen Wenzhou protected Ji Muran, then had to turn his head to look at her, "Watch where you’re going."
"Huh?" Ji Muran was momentarily dazed but quickly snapped out of it. Seeing the man’s helpless expression as he looked at her, Ji Muran’s face instantly turned red.
Why was she so clueless?
"I know!" Ji Muran nodded quickly, regretting and agreeing at the same time.
Shen Wenzhou didn’t say much more, but he continued to hold Ji Muran’s hand and walked slowly forward through the crowd.
Ji Muran was still somewhat excited and kept unconsciously shifting her gaze to Shen Wenzhou’s hand, feeling an uncontrollable joy inside.
Her best friend said that her methods of pursuing someone were really too poor, even insincere. Anyone else might have rejected her outright by now.
So, she wasn’t the only one harboring feelings. Mr. Shen was interested in her too.
The two walked through the crowded throng for more than ten minutes before arriving at the mall.
The restaurant was booked by Ji Muran. It was inside the mall, so they could directly go to the top floor to watch a movie after dinner.
Shen Wenzhou and Ji Muran were just like the most ordinary couple among thousands of others. If there was any difference, it was their somewhat outstanding demeanor. Other than that, there was no difference.
The restaurant was booked by Ji Muran, and considering Shen Wenzhou’s taste, she chose a cuisine that was relatively light. Since they had reserved in advance, they didn’t have to queue and went straight in upon arrival.
Although they had been slightly delayed on the way, Ji Muran’s movie tickets were for after nine o’clock, so they still dined at a leisurely pace.
After finishing their meal, they went directly to the top floor where Ji Muran went to pick up the tickets.
Shen Wenzhou suddenly asked, "Do you want some popcorn?"
Ji Muran originally thought that Shen Wenzhou wouldn’t eat it, but unexpectedly, he brought it up himself. Ji Muran nodded.
"Then you get the tickets, and I’ll queue for the popcorn," Shen Wenzhou said.
Ji Muran nodded repeatedly in agreement.
After that, the two stood in their respective queues. Ji Muran’s gaze kept drifting towards Shen Wenzhou’s direction, a faint smile on her face.
Then, the two successfully entered the theater, found their seats, and waited for the movie to start.
The movie was a romantic comedy, with quite a few hilarious scenes in the middle, causing most people in the theater to laugh out loud.
Shen Wenzhou didn’t seem to be too affected, but he watched the entire movie seriously.
After all, to him, the important thing wasn’t the movie but the person beside him. If Ji Muran hadn’t invited him, he wouldn’t have come.
