After the meeting ended, Shen Wenzhou returned to his office and sent Ji Muran a message.

A few years ago, when Chaochao was dating someone, she changed a lot. At least in his eyes, his sister shouldn’t be like that. Love had altered her somehow.

It wasn’t until the afternoon that Ji Muran replied to Shen Wenzhou’s message, but she did indeed reject his invitation.

When Shen Wenzhou arrived at the coffee shop, it wasn’t too crowded or empty. He glanced around but didn’t see Ji Muran.

He walked straight to the cashier. The woman at the register hadn’t seen Shen Wenzhou before, and vice versa, so she assumed Shen Wenzhou was a customer.

When Shen Wenzhou approached, the cashier asked him a question. Shen Wenzhou stated his purpose directly, "Where is Ji Muran?"

The cashier girl didn’t react immediately. It was Wang Zimeng, making coffee nearby, who looked up in surprise and quickly said, "The boss is in the break room. Mr. Shen, you can go directly."

Shen Wenzhou nodded in response to Wang Zimeng and proceeded to the back.

When he reached the door of the break room, Shen Wenzhou noticed that the door wasn’t closed, and from the entrance, he could see Ji Muran sitting on a sofa, still busy.

Shen Wenzhou didn’t go in immediately; he knocked on the door instead. The person inside instinctively looked up.

She seemed surprised to see him. After a moment of bewilderment, she subconsciously hid the item in her hand behind her.

"Why are you here?" Ji Muran asked in surprise.

Shen Wenzhou didn’t speak; he just raised an eyebrow slightly, watching her. He hadn’t missed the small item Ji Muran tried to hide from him.
