The CEO's Substitute Ex-Wife
Chapter 321: My Love for You and Him
CHAPTER 321: MY LOVE FOR YOU AND HIM
"Feimo is different. He pays attention to my every move and cares about my every emotion. I also chase after him, but it doesn’t feel as out of reach as before. He will stop and wait for me to catch up. I can cry and laugh freely in front of him. I can also let him see my worst side. When he is unhappy, I will also be unhappy. I can’t help but want to understand and care for him. I always want to give him the best of me. I’ve never felt this way before. It’s as if he is me and I am him. We are one and can’t be separated. Back then, when you didn’t love me, I always encouraged myself to work harder, and you would eventually fall in love with me. If he were to stop loving me, I can’t imagine what would happen to me. I guess that’s the difference between unrequited love and a love that is returned."
"You made me realize that there is a beautiful thing called love in this world. You were the one who brought me close to this world when I was young, but Ye Feimo was the one who brought me into that world and made me feel all the sweet, sour, bitter, and spicy flavors of love. These are two different feelings. Or perhaps they are two different stages of a relationship. Some people are lucky enough to meet one person in their lifetime who brings them close and also brings them in. But some people only get close and never get to enter."
Wen Nuan smiled sweetly. "Brother Liu Cheng, I hope you can meet a girl who will truly make you happy. You will, I promise. And when you do, you’ll be grateful that I left you. I once thought I would love you and only you forever, but who knew I would eventually fall for Ye Feimo? So, love is really hard to predict."
"Nuan Nuan..." Fang Liucheng listened quietly. Her saying that she had loved him made a ray of sunshine shine into his dark world. "Nuan Nuan, thank you. And, I wish you all the best."
Thank you for loving me with all your heart.
He was the one who didn’t cherish it, which is why he lost it.
"You’re welcome," Wen Nuan said with a smile, hanging up the phone. A heavy weight was finally lifted from her heart. Wen Nuan smiled happily, feeling unburdened. She looked to the side and saw Ye Feimo standing at the door of the sunroom, watching her with his arms crossed.
Wen Nuan’s face turned red instantly, as if a red cloud had exploded on her face. She stood up abruptly, her cheeks, against the backdrop of the white magnolias, were like peach blossoms in March.
"You... Why are you eavesdropping on my phone call?" Wen Nuan asked, flustered and pretending to be angry as she glared at him.
Ye Feimo leaned against the door, tall and handsome. The light from the sunroom cast a faint, jade-like glow on his face, making him look even more exquisite with the flowers around him. His dark eyes were filled with a smile. The corners of his lips were turned up in a half-smile, as if he was pleased and satisfied. His look was incredibly captivating. Wen Nuan was so embarrassed by his gaze that her heart was pounding.
It was as if he had woven a web of love around her, and she was slowly getting trapped in it. She was surrounded by his passionate gaze, and he had drawn a circle around her, giving her nowhere to run.
Ye Feimo let go of his arms and walked over with a smile, gently stroking her face. His eyes were so tender they could melt.
She tried to avoid his gaze, afraid of getting lost in it and sinking deeper and deeper. Ye Feimo lifted her chin, forcing her to look him in the eye. Her reflection was in his dark eyes, and she saw herself looking shy and flustered.
"Nuan Nuan, say it again," Ye Feimo said softly, his voice full of a subtle kind of charm. Wen Nuan’s heart skipped a beat, as if a small electric current was running through her heart, all the way to her scalp, making her back tingle.
Her face was getting hotter and hotter, as if it was on fire.
Her loving him was one thing, but saying it to his face made her feel shy and uneasy. She felt like she had never properly confessed to him.
"You’re bullying me."
"Say it again. Say you love me," Ye Feimo said in a low voice. The sound of his suppressed emotions had an even more alluring charm. Wen Nuan felt like he had a tight hold on her.
"I love you, Ye Feimo," Wen Nuan said bravely, looking into his loving eyes. She said each word clearly. "I love you so, so much."
Ye Feimo’s lips slowly curved upward. A smile spread across his dark, deep eyes. Gradually, the smile grew bigger, as if he had received some kind of affirmation, some kind of encouragement, or maybe it was his most precious treasure.
His smile was like a white magnolia blooming in the night, elegant and fragrant. Wen Nuan had always thought of Ye Feimo as a poppy, a flower that had a deadly alluring charm when it smiled. She never knew he could smile so purely and brightly. It was a satisfaction and joy that came from deep within his bones. She could feel the happiness radiating from him even with her eyes closed.
She was so happy that she was the one who could make him smile like that.
Ye Feimo lowered his head and gently kissed her lips. It was a tender and intoxicating kiss.
The lights flickered, the flowers bloomed, and two hearts that loved each other were tightly intertwined as one.
Han Bi was sitting alone on the third-floor balcony of her villa, drinking. She wasn’t wearing any makeup. Her skin was fair, and she was still beautiful and charming. Her wavy hair was draped over her shoulders, and she was wearing a loose white shirt that showed off her long, fair legs. She had an indescribable aura about her in the night.
She was sexy, beautiful, and a little decadent, as if she was tempting people to do something bad.
Any man who saw such a captivating woman would fall at her feet and willingly surrender to her.
Her beauty was beyond words. Her sexy charm came from deep within her bones. It was a magnificent charm that made people’s hearts pound.
The moonlight cast a thin layer of sadness and coldness on her face. There were still tears on her eyelashes, and two empty wine bottles were on the floor next to her. There were also stains of wine on her white shirt.
She had been drinking a lot, but she wasn’t drunk. The corners of Han Bi’s lips curled into a faint sneer. She didn’t know what she was sneering at. Linda walked over and took the wine bottle from her hand. "Han Bi, stop drinking. No matter how sad you are, Second Young Master Ye won’t see it. Stop hurting yourself."
Han Bi let out a laugh and took the wine bottle back. She sneered, "Don’t mind me. Just leave me alone."
Linda was furious. She wanted to scold her, but she didn’t know what to say. "Is she really worth all this? Han Bi, are you even the Han Bi I know? You’re so proud and confident. How can you let Wen Nuan defeat you? Who is she? She’s nothing, not even a tenth of you. Why are you so obsessed with her?"
Han Bi tilted her head back and took a big gulp of the strong alcohol. "Yes, she’s nothing. She’s not even a tenth of me. But... Feimo loves her. Feimo loves her... We can never go back. Never..."
