CHAPTER 348: CHANGE OF HEART

Wen Nuan smiled. Chen Xueru was right. Her situation and Chen Xueru’s couldn’t be compared. They had different problems. Chen Xueru felt guilty toward Zhao Yunin, but she didn’t feel that way toward Han Bi.

"What did Han Bi say that day?"

"She said she was pregnant with Feimo’s child, but she had a miscarriage," Wen Nuan said honestly. Chen Xueru was surprised. "That was years ago, right?"

"Yeah." Wen Nuan’s eyes looked at the blue sky and white clouds outside. Her fair face was covered with a thin layer of sadness. "I had a little argument with Feimo because of this."

Chen Xueru wordlessly patted her on the shoulder and comforted her, "It’s in the past. Don’t worry about it. You’ve always been so big-hearted, remembering the good and forgetting the bad. Wen Nuan and Chen Xueru got on the plane early, found their seats, and sat down. They didn’t see the other four people in first class until the plane was about to take off. A moment later, a flight attendant told them that the plane would be delayed for about an hour.

Wen Nuan and Chen Xueru didn’t know why, but the passengers in economy and business class were making a fuss. Chen Hang used his charm to talk to the flight attendant and found out that they were waiting for someone.

"Who’s so important?" Zhuo Bingbing frowned. "The few of us on this plane are pretty famous. How dare they make us wait? Don’t they know that artists are paid by the hour? The airline better pay up."

"I heard they’re from the Du family. Xueru, is the Du family very powerful? I’ve never heard of them," Chen Hang asked.

"I don’t know either."

"Damn it. They’re acting all high and mighty," Zhuo Bingbing huffed.

Chen Xueru and Wen Nuan laughed. They weren’t impatient people. Time passed quickly when they were chatting. Wen Nuan sent a text message to Ye Feimo, telling him that her flight was delayed and that he should come to pick her up later.

She didn’t know if their cold war was over. They hadn’t talked on the phone for ten days, only texted. He replied every time she texted. This could be considered a different kind of communication. Whenever she and Ye Feimo had an argument, she was always the one to initiate the conversation. Ye Feimo was like a closed-off jar.

If she didn’t take the initiative to text him, they probably wouldn’t have talked for ten days.
