But now, for the first time, she had a real designated workspace.

It all started when Jurim asked, “Why don’t you tell your dad?” and Guru answered, “It’s fun!”

After that, Jurim mulled something over for a while before saying, “Then from now on, do it in front of your dad.”

If she wouldn’t say anything, at least he wanted her to do it safely, where he could see.

Since Jurim usually spent his time in the Guildmastuh’s office, they’d need to place the workbench there to keep her in sight—

So for practical reasons, they compromised on a new location—Jurim’s study.

And so, the children’s workbench was set up inside Jurim’s private study.

It was custom-made by a renowned toy craftsman, delicately assembled from fine wood and plastic.

Sized perfectly for a child, the workbench’s shelves held a drill, screwdriver, saw, monkey wrench, hammer, and an elephant-shaped vacuum.

Guru’s eyes sparkled as she placed her toy box next to the bench. Jurim then helped her put on a safety helmet and goggles.

Jurim chuckled and pressed both her cheeks with his hands.

Soaking up the affection, Guru immediately sat down at the workbench.

Jurim reviewed documents on his tablet, occasionally glancing sideways at her.

The child stared seriously at the tools on the shelf, then grabbed the drill with confidence.

Looked like she wanted to drill into a toy magic wand.

Click. The button was pressed, and the blunt tip began to whirr with a soft brrrrr.

The force was barely stronger than a handheld fan. Guru tilted her head.

Mephisto stretched out his face and tilted his head the other way.

Guru kept pressing the drill button repeatedly before her mouth formed a small triangle and her brow scrunched.

Looking pouty, Guru seemed about to activate a skill, then picked the drill back up—

The thick plastic suddenly yielded like tofu, drilling smoothly.

Jurim pressed a hand to his forehead. He was very glad he’d told her to do everything in front of him from now on.

Guru grinned and nodded, then clenched both fists with determination.

Because becoming a better crafter than Sabbuu meant she needed lots of training!
