The Cursed Triplet Alphas' Fated Mate
Chapter 53:
CHAPTER 53: 53:
Landom
"Guys, do you really think this is the right thing to do?" I asked my brother as I went over to the window and pushed the windows open. From behind me, I heard Angelo snort.
"Please don’t tell me you’re starting to feel guilty." He pointed out snd I rolled my eyes as I turned around to face them.
"Of course, you know I’m not. You know I’ve never been faithful to anyone before, and me fucking Lyla today doesn’t change anything. After all, I don’t owe Sue any kind of loyalty so it doesn’t matter and I also definitely don’t feel guilty." I informed them Incase they were getting the wrong idea.
"Good." Damon muttered while nodding and I rolled my eyes again.
"When I asked that question, I meant is it right for us to make her into our maid? I think she completely detests us at this point." I explained and they slowly nodded in understanding.
"Well, she had always hated us from the onset so this isn’t anything new." Damon pointed out and I barked out a laugh.
"You fool, you never actually hated us like this. If she did hate us, it’s definitely nothing compared to how she feels about us right now." I pointed out while Damon huffed.
"You’re right, Landon. She does detests us right now. I could feel it when she was cleaning this room just now." Angelo added this time and I nodded, because I knew I felt that raw hatred oozing off her just now.
"Well, that’s only expected after what we did to her." I pointed out while Damon snorted, clearly disagreeing with me.
"If we were hoping to get her to willingly agree to let us feed on her blood before, now, we had better discard that thought cause she’ll never let us no matter what." I pointed out as I walked over to the bed and flopped over it.
"We’re all gonna die, guys." I added while staring up at the roof.
"Stop being dramatic." Damon hurled at me and I turned to level him with a sharp look.
"No, we should actually be dramatic. In fact, you should be the most dramatic among us cause your curse is nearing a crucial stage compared to ours. Do you want the curse to kill you??"
Damon scowled at me, looking irritated. "You know I don’t want that, but what else can I do anyway?"
I flopped into the bed again and remained silent.
"Let’s all relax, guys. We’ll definitely figure something out." Angelo broke the silence this time and I let out a long sigh while dragging a hand across my face.
I really hadn’t wanted us to make Sue into our maid. I might not reveal it to my brothers yet, but the entire encounter I had with Sue out by the waterfall last night, is something that I’m finding hard to stop thinking about. The entire back and forth was now seared into my brain.
For a moment, I wondered if she’s also thinking about it like I’m doing, then I reminded myself that she definitely wasn’t cause she undoubtedly hated us right now with everything in her.
"We were left with no choice but to do this. It was either this or watch her get killed, and that way, us outrightly trying to protect her from father would undoubtedly seem like a betrayal to the throne." Damon spoke this time after a few minutes.
"You’re right." I added while dragging a hand over my face again. "She might hate us right now, but we’re actually protecting her this way,"
"Father is undoubtedly already watching us as we speak, so we definitely cannot afford to be nice to her. She must believe that we detest her and her punishing her this way, and everyone in the palace must believe the same thing as well." Angelo spoke while nodding. "Once father sees how we’re treating her, he’ll assure we now hate her and are punishing her, then he’ll hopefully decide to get his eyes off her."
Damon nodded. "But we do hate her though, don’t we?"
Angelo snorted. "Of course not. She didn’t actually do anything to us, did she?"
Damon regarded Angelo and myself like we were stupid.
"Are you already forgetting what her father did to mother? He killed her and robbed us of having a mother." Damon pointed out and I rolled my eyes.
"But she clearly had nothing to do with it, it’s not her fault she was born to a father like that. And like she said, I really don’t think she knew her father was responsible for our mother’s death." I argued but Damon folded his hands while shaking his head.
"It doesn’t matter. She’s still indirectly involved in the death of our mother, so don’t feel too bad about making her into our personal maid. After all, she deserves to be punished a little at least."
"Sounds like you’ve not been thinking about your curse at all, cause how do you expect her to let you drink her blood with this kind of mindset?" Angelo asked, perfectly reading my mind.
"I’ve been thinking, why don’t we offer her money and just make her into our feeder like vampires does, then after our curses is broken, she’ll be allowed to leave. Surely she won’t say no to money." Damon muttered just as Angelo snorted.
"That can definitely not work out. According to the soothsayer, she needs to be more than willing, without being coaxed or offered money... else It won’t work."
Damon let out a small sigh as he visible deflated just as Angelo turned towards me.
"That reminds me... how did it feel when you got a taste of her blood back in her room after she headbutt you."
At once, my heartbeat accelerated and my mouth filled up with hunger, a hunger I’ve been unable to stop feeling since that very moment.
"It felt... it’s unlike anything I’ve ever tasted. My beast almost took control of me at that moment and I had to fight hard to keep him under control, and that made me realize one thing."
"What’s that?"
"I need more than a single taste... I want to devour her whole."
