The Cursed Triplet Alphas' Fated Mate
Chapter 63: back and forth
CHAPTER 63: 63: BACK AND FORTH
Landon
To say that I am presently irritated would be an understatement. I was so furious that all that I was seeing was red, and I was relieved that we all managed to step out of the wedding venue, before one of my brothers or myself ended up losing control in there.
Travis, Trevor and Theo.
Who even invited them?
Right, father did, cause he’s in some sort of deal with their parents’ pack. But we weren’t friends with the guys despite them being triplets as well, we had tried to connect multiple times, but it just never flowed, and it’s starting to seem like this was the reason we never connected, because we’d end up having the same mate in the future.
My eyes landed on Sue, she was standing in our midst, in her maid outfit that did nothing to din her flawless beauty, wariness on her face as she kept staring at the entrance of the room we were currently in with something like longing across her face.
"Why are you all out here right now? When you could have easily ended this back in there!" Our father gritted out from the doorway and our gazes snapped up to meet his eyes, seeing as he just arrived from the wedding venue as well.
"All your guests, the parents of your new brides, everyone, you’ve just disrespected all of them by leaving halfway because of this wretched slave!" He bit out, his eyes angry as it settled on Sue who’s eyes widened as she flinched, and k was instantly filled with the urge to step in front of her and shield her away from his angry gaze.
"We have this under control. We had to step out and do this away from the eyes of the public, and besides, haven’t we done what you want? We’ve gotten married to those women, the priest already sealed the unions so technically, the wedding is already over." Damon was the one who stepped forward to respond, and our father scoffed, still appearing very furious.
"The wedding is still not over just because of that!" He yelled and I rolled my eyes, feeling extremely irritated."
"Enough, father!" Angelo bit out as he stepped forward as well. "We have to handle this first, you should return back to the wedding, we’ll be on our way as soon as we’re done with this." He continued and our father looked even more furious that he was a few seconds ago.
"What’s there to handle in this situation?? Just reject this slave so she can be on her way with the vixen pack’s princes!" He bit out and I dragged a hand across my face, my eyes darting towards Sue again. I was grateful that we were having this conversation here without those other triplets presents right now, else this might be pretty embarrassing.
"We’ll do what we think is best in this situation. For now, you should leave us." I finally gritted out, unable to hold myself back any longer.
Our father’s gaze snapped to me almost immediately, then he glared at us before taking a step back, then he was pointing at us as he spoke.
"Don’t dare do anything stupid."
After those words, he turned and wordlessly left, then she was letting out a long sigh and visibly deflating. I instantly glanced over at her, wanting to ask her if she’s alright, but as those words were about to leave my mouth, I was reminded of the fact that she’s probably happy right now over the fact that she has a new set of mates right now.
Is she eagerly waiting for us to reject her so that she could leave with those alphas?
Well, that’s never happening!
Just the thought of those men getting their hands on her was enough to make me see stark red and enough for me to want to lose control at once. The exact thoughts running through my mind could be perfectly mirrored over the faces of my brothers when I glanced up at them, and now that we were alone with Sue again, it was clear that they were struggling to hold in their emotions together.
Angelo stepped forward, clearly about to say something, but before that happened, the triplets who had already become the set of people I hated the most right now, emerged in the doorway, warm grins across their faces as they sauntered in.
"Hey guys, hope we aren’t interrupting anything." One of them crooned, a grin still on his face. I didn’t even know his particular name, but I wanted to punch him in the face right now. He and his brothers look very unfazed right now, and I wasn’t sure if that was what infuriated me the most.
That they were looking so cool and unbothered, while my brothers and I were stupidly worked up and extremely annoyed right now.
"Well, you clearly did, seeing as you’re in here without being invited." Damon snapped, always the one to not hold anything back.
The triple who I assumed is the youngest like Damon, stepped closer to Damon with a lazy shrug as he spoke.
"Well, we didn’t think we needed permission to come in here seeing as our mate is in here with you guys. Clearly, that’s all the invite we need to be in here as well." He pointed out and I felt the anger within me shrug even more.
This stupid fuck, how about I punch him in the face right now.
"Guys, let’s all calm down, there’s no need to fight right now." The one standing in the middle suddenly spoke, and I had to assume that he was the oldest like Angelo is. He had the same assertive aura like Angelo, and right after he spoke, the one who had just spoken to Damon, took a lazy step back, his grin still playing across his lips.
"Now, we’re wondering if you’ve rejected her yet?" The one who I assumed was still the oldest spoke as he started amongst my brothers and once again, my hands clenched at my sides as I was consumed with the urge to punch someone in the nose.
"What do you mean?" I barked out in response.
He shrugged as he continued, while pointing at Sue. "We thought that was what you came to do in private with her here? You’re supposed to reject her so that we can take her along with us when we’ll be on our way." He explained and I barked out a harsh laugh.
"And why the fuck would we do that? Just cause she’s your mate?" Angelo asked, then he laughed as well. "She’s our mate so we’re not rejecting her."
"Well, we assumed that’s what you’re supposed to do since you’re basically already married to someone else." The one who I was assuming was the second oldest like myself, finally spoke in a calm voice, and his eyes briefly met with mine as he spoke.
"Well, not like we need to explain ourselves to you, but we have our reasons for not rejecting her, so we’re not gonna be doing that, and you’re not leaving here with her. She’ll continue to stay here with us." Angelo pointed out as he folded his arms.
"So, what’s gonna happen now? Cause we’re also not gonna be leaving here without our mate either." The one I assumed was the youngest pointed out, and my stance on punching his face was yet to change.
"Well, we’re not rejecting her or letting you leave with her either." Angelo responded calmly.
"I don’t understand though. What could you possibly need her for after already getting married to women who you’ll clearly make your Lunas as well. You should not make this harder than it’s supposed to be, even your father is on board with you all rejecting her and letting her come with us, so what is the problem?" The one who I believed is the oldest spoke this time as he glanced between us.
I let out a scoff as I rolled my eyes. Of course our father would agree that we reject our mate asap, after all, he’ll only be a hundred percent calm after she’s very far away from us, but too bad for him, cause that’s gonna work.
"If you haven’t heard, she’s being punished for something, so she’ll have to stay by our side and serve us till we deem enough." Angelo pointed out this time but the triplets of vixen pack all scoffed at the same tone and again, I was tempted to punch them in the face.
I didn’t even understand why the moon goddess would do this. Why does she have to fate our mate over to another set of triplets? Is this a form of punishment? Cause it made no sense to me.
"Again, what’s gonna happen now? And I think you guys have to return to your wedding soon." The one who I believed is the second oldest drawled out in that annoying calm voice of his and Damon scoffed.
"Our wedding is none of your concern."
"So, basically, do we have to fight over our mate or what? Cause we assure you that we won’t be leaving here without her." The oldest spoke this time, his eyes trained on Angelo.
