CHAPTER 94: 94: WORRY

Landon

"I told you that you weren’t gonna find her." Our father said through a proud laugh while shaking his head and the anger that pulsed through my entire body was unlike anything I’ve felt before. All I could see right now was red, and I seriously wanna rip his throat right now, however I was fully aware that I couldn’t do that, not yet at least. No matter how angry we all get, we basically have no other choice than to chill out to we find out mate.

"I told you questioning him was gonna be useless." Damon sighed, his fingers running through his hair and I exhaled shakily. I had also known it was gonna be useless, however I had been desperate as hell.

"So you’re alright Witt dying? Because of something like this? And by your own sons??" Angelo asked while our father scoffed while rolling his eyes. He still looked unfazed for the most part, but at least he had the courtesy to smell a little frightened. He sneered as he spoke this time.

"I couldn’t be too bothered about that, cause I won’t get killed anyway. If you kill me, you won’t ever find her. So I guess you all have to still keep me alive no matter what, no?"

As his eyes darted between my brothers and I, feeling like I was on the verge of losing control, I let out a growl right before I stormed out of that room. I knew myself, I knew that the chances of me losing control at that moment was very high and I didn’t want to test how strong my control was. I might always argue whenever my brothers tease me over having very little self control, but that was nothing but the truth.

I was still standing in the same spot, outside the throne room while my mind wandered, drifting towards Sue and wondering if she was alright. I knew the chances of her being unscathed was very low, but I was hoping for the sake of my sanity and the sake of her abductor, that not a single finger gets laid on her. Her being kidnapped is technically my fault and that of my brothers, so I was still feeling guilty as hell. I couldn’t even sit still after we returned from raiding Hugo’s home cause I was still worried as hell for our mate. That bastard Hugo never hid his desires for our hate, so there was no guarantee that he hadn’t put his filthy hands on our woman.

That thought made me jolt from shock. I had just referred to her as my woman within my mind, but basically, that’s how I see her right now. Since the moment I marked her, she became mine without even realizing it. I never wanted to reject her, and now that it feels like I was going crazy just because we couldn’t find her, that was enough proof that I really wouldn’t be able to reject her and let her leave with her new set of mates.

Fuck that to hell and back.

She was mine and my brother’s.

My brothers might not be ready to admit that to themselves hust yet, but it was pointless for them to still keep trying to deny it. The way they’re so worried about her right now was proof enough. If they didn’t care for her too much like they insist, especially Damon, neither of them would be disturbed by the fact that she got kidnapped, and I knew it was more than because they needed her to help break their curses. It was way more than that, and they might still try to deny it, but I call bullshit.

I heard familiar footsteps behind me and I just knew my brothers were approaching me right now, so I didn’t bother to turn around till they came to stand at my side.

"You alright?" Angelo asked quietly while I snorted. Neither of us were alright right now, since the moment we discovered that Sue was missing, we became troubled and that’s how we’ve remained since then.

We’ve searched for her in every nook and granny of the palace. Our army and guards have turned the entire pack upside down, which leaves us with one answer, our mate has been taken outside the pack. With that realization in mind, it means looking for her like we were presently doing wasn’t gonna help us find her at this rate .

She got kidnapped yesterday and it’s been almost twenty four hours and yet there’s still no sign of us getting closer to finding her and that bastard Hugo.

"Look who’s approaching right now." Damon snorted and I lifted my gaze to stars straight ahead and that’s when I caught sight of them. Sue’s new set of mates.

I rolled my eyes in irritation.

Great. Just great.

These are the last people I wanna have a conversation with right now.

Since the moment we all had a fight in the hallway yesterday, we haven’t caught sight of them, and I had almost believed that they had left for their pack in anger. However, it seemed like I was wrung by that assumption. They kept walking closer till they were standing right in front of us, not bothering to hide their hostility which was why I didn’t bother to do away with the scowl on my face right now.

"If you’re here to have an argument with us, now isn’t the right time so how about you all get lost?" I snapped before I could stop myself, rolling my eyes in irritation. I hated these triplets so much, probably because they were hell bent in taking my mate away from me, but the hatred I had for them knew no bounds.

The second oldest rolled his eyes as he stepped forward, his hands deep in his pockets.

"You must think that’s all we’re good for. This might sound shocking to you, but we’re not like you who love to argue." He drawled and I gritted my teeth together, to urge to rip through a throat fully consuming me again.

"What do you want? If you have nothing tangible to say right now, I’d suggest that you get lost. As you can see, we were in a conversation before you arrived." Damon bit out, not bothering to hide the anger and irritation in his voice as he spoke.

The triplets rolled their eyes in sync, which felt creepy because it was something my brothers and I used to do sometimes, but on them, it felt like something normal and not in a weird way at all.

"We’re here to talk about Sue, clearly." The oldest finally said as he stepped forward and a sigh fell past my lips just as he continued, his hands folded across his chest.

"So, is she really kidnapped?" He asked after a few seconds and I felt my jaw clenched tightly.

The news of her disappearance had quickly spread through the palace yesterday, and now everyone was fully aware of that. Goddiolets had started flying around the palace as well, and now it seems like everyone was fully aware of the fact that she’s our fated mate this entire time. I couldn’t even be bothered about that, since after all in the past, the reason we always hid the fact that we had a mate was because of our father, but now we had him under our own control so there was no problem with the news getting out now.

"Unfortunately, yes." Angelo sighed out in a long breath as he spoke and anger settled across the triplets’ faces as they kept regarding us.

"And you’re just standing around?? You aren’t looking for her?!" The second oldest yelled in the next second and before I could think my actions over, I was stepping forward and gripping his collar tugylu which I used to jerk him forward.

"How about you think twice before spewing out trash? When you were all spending the whole day to recover from a single fight like some fucking pussues, we’ve been searching for her since the moment she disappeared.

The second oldest sneered and jerked his collar away after about a minute, and a scowl was on his face as he spoke.

"How the hell was I supposed to know that?"

I rolled my eyes, still feeling extremely irritated as I sneered out a response. "If you had asked a question like a reasonable person instead of just jumping into conclusions, then we’d have recessed that to you. But of course you just had to jump to conclusions."

He rolled his eyes, looking embarrassed but refusing to admit it.

"How was she kidnapped anyway? Seems your army is a bunch of pussies. If your guards are actually strong, how did she get kidnapped? Who’s responsible and how do we find her?"

"Our guards were overpowered, and she was taken by our cousin. We’ve searched through the entire pack with no sign of her. At this point, we have to officially start searching outside the pack."
