CHAPTER 443: MOON VS CHAOS – PART 2

I look at Pandora, she looks hideous like that, a real monster with so many eyes and mouths, not to mention the dangerous glare that gives me the creeps.

’Tsu-darling...? Why...is she calling me that?’ Something seems off, Pandora doesn’t show me affection, not that that seems like a form of affection, but the way she said it really freaks me out.

"...!!!" She quickly charges at me, she’s so fast I just predict where she’ll attack and defend there beforehand, I block her punch with my fan while redirecting it and try to cut her with a crescent moon that she defends by biting.

’Looks like that won’t work anymore...’ The extra eyes see the attack because now there are no blind spots.

"[Crescent Moon Blade]" I fire off several slashes followed by a large crescent-shaped cut, but she dodges everything despite the close proximity while hitting me with a kick that I defend with one of my fans.

’She’s gonna bite’ Before she bites the fan, I pull it back and fire 10 crescent moons that she defends by biting, but then she hits me with her tail, pushing me back.

"!!!" She completely vanished from my sight, I strike behind, but she’s not there as I expected, so I jump up off the ground, evading a blow.

I look down seeing Pandora bringing her two hands together and pointing her index fingers at me with her arms extended, soon a violent mana beam is fired.

’Can’t defend that...’ I generate a large full moon and fire it as a shield while starting to fly to get out of range, but before I realize it, she’s already on top of me, kicking me down so hard that when I hit the ground, everything around cracks.

With no time to feel the pain, I jump back, narrowly avoiding her as she crashed down where I was. I get up, but receive a punch to the face that throws me back, before I even regain my footing, I fire hundreds of golden crescent moons, cutting everything nearby to give me time to recover.

I do a backflip, landing on my feet, but as soon as my foot touches the ground, something bites it, pinning me in place.

"Shark?" I look at Pandora and form a large silver shield in front of me, and immediately my shield is pierced by an extremely thin fire blast, I crush the shark while using another ability.

"[Lunar Eclipse]" The entire area darkens for a moment and soon a large golden beam is fired from the sky against Pandora, who defends using darkness, the magic clash makes the ground fly while I try to cut Pandora with several crescent moons, but her extra mouths are defending everything.

’How inconvenient...’ She manages to successfully defend my attack and quickly leaps through the still airborne rocks to gain momentum, charging at me with a sword.

I defend the sword thrust, but soon have to defend an axe blow, when I defend that one, she gives a lance thrust that nearly pierces my ribs and then with another hand fires numerous daggers at me, making my defense difficult.

"...!!!" Even as I defend everything, my arms tremble from the force of each blow, Pandora soon spits what I dodge reflexively and see it’s blood.

"Explosive Life" She says as the blood explodes next to my face, the unpleasant ringing that follows disorients me while she tries to pierce my belly with a foil that I barely defend.

The two upper arms are covered in darkness and become giant with claws as she strikes down, I think about defending, but if I defend, I’ll be completely exposed to attacks.

"[Black Moon Ray]" I fire a powerful dark electric discharge that spreads rapidly as I jump back, narrowly avoiding her hands that return to normal.

"[Planetary Devastation]" I use another ability, generating a huge meteor that I fire at Pandora, I start flying, firing thousands of crescent moons at her to keep her on the defensive.

"[Shattered Moon]" I’m shocked when Pandora uses the same ability I did, shattering the meteor.

’H-How? This...’ Before I can think, she’s already near me, kicking me with force while firing several blades, I defend them with the fans as I’m blasted towards the ground.

"Tsu-darling, it’s not so hard to replicate what you do, sweetie, it’s just a matter of how much magic I’m willing to spend to replicate the effects you cause...I didn’t learn this ability, I just falsely replicated what you did" She speaks in that distorted unpleasant tone, mocking me openly.

"[Lunar Break]" She uses another of my abilities, I dodge barely while firing crescent moons at her.

"[Planetary Devastation]" She copies the ability I just used, which is humiliating, since she hasn’t even trained to be able to use it.

"[Great Lunar Separator]" I slice the meteor, but I’m grabbed by the hand, and Pandora quickly starts giving me hundreds of punches that I can’t defend, but don’t hurt much.

"..." She throws me to the ground and backs off as if she realized why it doesn’t hurt me much.

"[Great Cla...]" Before I can speak, I’m hit by a punch so hard in the chest that I feel my ribs breaking as I’m thrown miles away.

"...?" I fall to the ground as my breathing stops completely before I take a deep breath, it feels like my lungs have been compressed, it was so painful that tears start to stream.

’How did she get through my defense so fast?’ With the punches she gave me, it seems she noticed how my defense works, but it’s absurd to break it so quickly after discovering it.

I get up and see her coming at an alarming pace, I barely manage to defend with the fans as one of my weapons is grabbed by a mouth in her palm.

She pushes me away, having stolen one of my fans, and soon I see her chewing and shattering my weapon.

"..."

"Tell me, Tsukuyomi, how’s your experience going against me?" Her voice is less distorted this time as she calls me by my name.

"It means nothing" I say, preparing another attack.

"[Silver Shower]" Thousands of small moons of various shapes start falling from the sky, all emitting this beautiful lunar silver glow.

"[Black Moon Ray]" She copies something I did again, but on an immensely larger scale, covering the entire area, I feel the electricity running through my body painfully as the Silver Shower is destroyed.

She tries that punch again, but I place my hands in front of my chest to defend, but she just changes hands and the punch is to my belly, I’m violently thrown back as I feel like my organs are about to burst.

Before I can hit the ground, Pandora appears flying above me, she falls in a kick, sinking me into the ground, but she quickly repeats this in several violent impacts on the same spot on my belly, sinking me into the ground.

"S-Swap...[Lunar Swap]" I teleport, swapping places with a rock fragment and appearing in the distance, but Pandora is already here, and all I see is her shin close to my eyes.

Before I realize it, I only feel the pain as I receive that blow to the face, throwing me back.

I force myself to regain my balance as I look at Pandora, her hundreds of eyes anxiously look in all directions, alert to anything.

’She...is really trying to kill me...’ I realize how serious that was, she was really trying to burst my belly.

’How did she find out so fast...’ My body has 3 more notable weak points, the first is in the belly where the uterus is, which is why when I was pregnant with Eclipsya I was so weak.

The second is the heart, and the third is in the center of the head. First Pandora attacked my chest near the heart, now my belly above the uterus, it’s obvious she’s noticed.

’Adaptation...you’ve got to be kidding? Nothing should adapt that fast!’ I look at her with real fear now, I had already studied and knew that Pandora adapted.

But to adapt is one thing, however, this? This is far beyond just adaptation, not even bacteria and viruses can change so quickly.

"Pandora, you’re really an unnatural abomination..." I try to speak, spitting blood, the Goddess of the Abyss created an abomination, nothing in existence should have such ability to adjust in a fight.

"..."

"It’s not like you’ve been trying to hide it very well, Tsu-darling...now...how about you also experience my side?"

"...What...ghmmm" I quickly put my hand on my throat, seeing the blood flowing, I try to speak, but I can’t.

"It’s not very nice to be cut without realizing, is it? Your spatial manipulation is impressive, Tsu-darling, but it became easy to figure out when the space gets distorted after your attacks..."

"..." I realize she knows.

"You can’t attack without speaking, can you? Complicated...yeah, it’s stupid to rely on just one mouth...Hahahaha" She again notices another weak point, all those weak points I took millennia to hide.

"But be happy, Tsu-darling, I couldn’t figure out how exactly your attacks are formed, how incredible, right? I usually always discover everything...the lack of mana is really...impressive...until now, only chaos magic has shown itself to be something I don’t fully understand"

’...It’s not deep...just cut my vocal cords...’ I heal my neck, closing the wound.

"Ahh...hmm? A-Ahhhmm?" I try to speak, but I can’t.

"..."

"You don’t have permission to speak, Tsu-darling, do you know what that means?" She looks at me with a dangerous look, and I realize I can’t give up this fight.

There are only 3 ways to stop, first dying, second becoming extremely incapacitated, and third is surrendering.

"Hmm!!! HMMM!!!" I try to say that this is unfair, it’s not fair for her to take away my only means of surrendering properly if I can’t win.

"Your desperation is sweet...I really want to see your stupid hope of victory being destroyed...Did you think I’d play fair, Tsu-darling?" She starts taking steps towards me as I firmly hold my fan.

"We have all the time until I get bored and let you speak, so survive until then, okay? I’ll show you what happens when you try to meddle in my relationships" She speaks with a look full of a sick paranoia.

"Hmm!! Ghmmm!!" I try to say that it has nothing to do with that.

"You got too close to Zephyra, Tsukuyomi...I hate that, you bitch, who said you could be so close to my wife? Do you think I’ll tolerate that?" She charges at me while I retreat hesitantly before being hit by several punches.

’S-So heavy...’ Now each of her punches is like a mountain being thrown at me, which really starts to hurt a lot.

"I’m so jealous, I tried to let it slide because I wanted Zephyra to be happy, but now I realize it was foolish to let you near my wife, you needy bitch" She’s confusing my friendly appreciation for Zephyra for something more.

I really didn’t expect this outcome, I just wanted to help a friend with problems, because it would be dishonorable for me to just ignore her.

But I won’t give up this fight, I still have a trump card that I don’t need to speak to use.

When I create a story, my focus is not just to tell the tale of one character. My goal is to build an entire universe centered around a core theme — like in Pandora’s story, where the main themes are vengeance, loss of humanity, and family.

I know many people read mainly for entertainment and don’t really look for the deeper layers within the narrative, and that’s perfectly fine!However, someone recently asked why Eclipsya and Azazel, who are sisters, are clearly being shown as having a romantic relationship in the future — and the same goes for Pandora and her "older sister."

So I want to make something very clear:I do not, under any circumstances, approve of any of the taboo themes that appear in my works.

I’m fully aware that my stories deal with topics like abuse, gore, and other taboos. The reason they exist narratively is because instead of telling a story about one character, I tell the story of an entire universe — and I try to stay faithful to what these kinds of beings would realistically represent.

I know some themes can be disgusting, disturbing, or straight-up repulsive for some readers. I understand that not everyone wants to read about certain subjects.

So what I want to explain is this: yes, if taken literally, Pandora will commit incest in the future, and so will her daughters.But the point is that it is not meant to be interpreted literally in the moral sense.

Starting with Pandora:Pandora isn’t human. She’s a biological weapon created from magic inside an egg — and her "sister" is the same. Biologically, the two don’t even share real blood. They are simply beings created by the same goddess using the same magic, and that’s why they are called "sisters."The truth is: Pandora and her older sister do not commit incest, because they are two weapons of mass destruction created solely to serve their "mother." Their relationship isn’t human, and was never intended to be read through a human moral lens.

But what matters here isn’t the biology — it’s the narrative reason behind their relationships.

Pandora is biologically closer to an animal. Her entire existence is based on multiple wild beasts fused together physically and behaviorally. That’s why she’s violent, destructive, and heavily driven by desire. This is fundamental to her identity.

Now, about Azazel and Eclipsya:Yes, they are half-sisters, since they share Pandora’s genetic material.But their relationship exists because of the nature of the universe itself.The story is set in a semi-medieval world with different cultures, laws, and norms.Both Eclipsya and Azazel are monsters — rational, but still bound by instinct.

Narratively, their relationship is driven purely by instinct.

Species with extremely low population numbers naturally seek partners of the exact same type. This is normal in the animal kingdom. An animal will always be drawn to a partner of the same species.

In their case, their race is nearly extinct — only five beings exist so far.With such a tiny population, it would be natural for the race to grow through incest to preserve its "purity." (Humanity itself grew from this in early history, and it happened a lot in medieval times before strict laws existed. It’s a part of history that won’t just disappear.)

So to the person who asked why the sisters will end up together — and even insulted me for writing it — here is my answer:

Their relationship exists not because I support incest.It exists because, in their world, they are monsters whose instincts overpower social concepts that humans would follow.

I believe that almost everyone reading my story already understands that an author and their work are not the same thing. Authors choose themes and explore them even if they don’t agree with them. The purpose of fiction is to show things that cannot or should not happen in reality — for the sake of storytelling and exploration.

Normally, I would ignore insulting comments, but this one was written so thoroughly that I decided to respond.

To the person who wrote that comment: if you read this, I hope it helps you separate fiction from the author. One has nothing to do with the other.

I’m simply an author who chose to follow a path of particularly dark stories — not because I approve of the themes, but because I love the psychological and dark genres. I find it fascinating how characters in these stories can be so unique. They overflow with life in ways that other genres struggle to capture.

I know what I write usually attracts only readers who enjoy darker narratives, and I’m completely fine with that.What matters to me are those who appreciate the worlds I create.

I put a lot of effort into building these worlds, giving them life, and avoiding mistakes. I know sexual content, gore, and abuse appear frequently, which may give the impression that the author "likes" these topics — but the real reason they appear so often is because my writing is based on a simple premise:Human Desire.

Humans are naturally greedy, lustful, lazy, etc. I know not everyone is like that, but these urges are universal. They can’t just be erased from existence.And my works explore desire in a very intense way.
