The Devil's Betrothed
Chapter 793: Foreign Existence
CHAPTER 793: FOREIGN EXISTENCE
Seren and Ember were taken away by the celestial guards. All the deities had left, leaving the angels to take care of the destroyed place.
Once everyone was gone, Isis asked Petra, "Where is Sierra?"
"She is safe, my Sovereign. We will bring her back to the dungeon," Petra replied.
Isis, content to hear it, smirked. "I can’t let her die, as it will only alert the gods of her presence. Only if I could remove her name from the celestial stone of life, but..." she sighed and then said, "Without her, those two young earthlings won’t be able to prove what happened to them. Make sure, even by mistake, Sierra’s presence shouldn’t be known to anyone."
"Rest assured, my Sovereign."

Meanwhile, the pain Drayce and Morpheus were feeling stopped, as their mates Seren and Ember were not using their powers.
"Are you alright?" Evanthe asked in worry.
Both of them inhaled deeply, as it was the intense pain that had almost left them immobile and unable to breathe. Both of them assured her that they were alright.
"They have taken away your mates," Evanthe said. "I am afraid we can’t reach them easily."
"Seren’s mother?" Drayce asked.
"They have thrown her down the celestial hollow. She is not with us now," Evanthe replied, containing the hurt she was feeling. "In the past, Sierra had already told me something like this might happen if Isis ever found her, and I should not divert myself because of it. She told me to focus on protecting her daughter. At that time, I promised her, and I shall fulfill it."
Drayce and Morpheus could only agree to it, as there was nothing they could do.
"What are they doing?" all of a sudden, Morpheus said.
The other two looked towards the celestial hollow where the angels were holding Sierra captive.
"She is alive," Evanthe said in delight, letting out a great sigh of relief.
"They have a reason to keep her alive. That means we don’t have to fear for Sierra’s life," Evanthe said. "We can focus on protecting your mates."
"Before that, we need to reach the Deity of Wisdom," Drayce said and looked at his mother. "He will recognize you when he sees you, so it would be easier."
Evanthe hummed, while Morpheus said, "We need to split. All three of us together is like wasting time. Evanthe can go find that deity, while one of us can go after Ember and Seren, and the other one stand by to help if something happens."
"Seems like that is the only way," Evanthe said and looked at Morpheus. "Let’s do as he says." Then she looked back at Drayce, "Don’t let your darkness surface, or they will sense you. Keep your divine power at the surface to mask the darkness."
Drayce nodded, and they went ahead with the plan made by once the great commander of the Kingdom of Supernaturals.

Solon guided the arrangements for keeping Seren and Ember in the celestial healing chamber.
The two women were laid on the platform made of white celestial rock, which was surrounded by divine energy. The Celestial Healer Deity and his apprentices were examining the two women.
Once the Celestial Healer checked them, he himself was surprised.
"What surprised you, Deity Malen?" Solon asked.
The old deity had frown lines on his forehead that deepened with the wrinkles he had. He caressed his long white beard with his hand and then replied, "How did these two weak women manage to manifest the hellfire this way? Their constitution is so weak—as born in the mortal world—that they shouldn’t even withstand the smallest flame of hellfire. But..." he observed the two, "What drove them to be so powerful all of a sudden? Something must have prompted them..."
Solon didn’t deny this claim, as he didn’t trust Deity Isis and her angels, but then said, "Let’s work on healing them."
Just then, one of the apprentices said, "My lord, you must see this."
Malen and Solon went to see what it was and heard the apprentice, "Both of them have these marks on them—a mate bond mark with..." He couldn’t say further, as it was a shock.
"Dragon?" Malen said in surprise. "They are the mates of Dragons? But the Lord of Darkness..."
"They are the mates of other Dragons," Solon said, and looked at Seren. "She is the mate of a Dragon born by the union of the Lord of Darkness and Deity Evanthe."
Everyone was shocked to hear it. All of them already understood she was the daughter of the Deity of Earth, but this was shocking.
"And the reincarnation of the Deity of Fire? Who is her mate?" Malen asked.
"I do not know," Solon answered.
If only they knew her mate was the God of War himself—how shocked they were going to be.
"Lord Malen, I wish you to come with me and check on Lord Grianor," Solon said. "He once again used his powers to contain hellfire."
Malen sighed, "It already took him a long time to recover from the previous harm by the Deity of Fire, and once again..."
Solon had the same sentiments as him, and both of them left to see Grianor.
—--
Grianor was in the throne hall, instructing the general of the heavenly army on the current matters, other than just keeping a watch on the disturbed Demon Realm.
Once it was done, he sat alone on the throne, deeply thinking about things.
Solon and Malen appeared there. Both of them greeted the King, only to hear him say, "How are they?"
"They are receiving healing treatment, and it will take a while for them to regain consciousness," Malen informed. "But now I am here to heal you."
"I am alright," Grianor said.
"My Lord, as a King, your utmost responsibility is to keep yourself powerful so you can protect us. And as a healer, it’s my responsibility to always keep you at your best," Malen said. "Please do not stop me from fulfilling my responsibilities."
As this was the only way Grianor understood, it worked. They headed to Grianor’s palace and entered the King’s personal healing chamber. Malen formed a magical circle and asked Grianor to go into seclusion for at least a day.
Before entering it, Grianor instructed Solon, "When I am in seclusion, it’s your responsibility to take care of everything."
Solon bowed in understanding, only to hear Grianor say, "I sensed a foreign assistance around the celestial hollow."
"I understand, my Sovereign," Solon replied.
Once Grianor entered seclusion and the door of the healing chamber was closed, Solon told the healer, "Keep any progress in those two women secret. Do not let any deity meet them, whoever it is."
"I understand, my Lord," Malen assured and left.
Solon decided to follow what Grianor told him. Foreign existence? It meant someone had followed those two women and entered the Heavenly Realm. He had to find them without letting anyone know about it.
If Grianor had only told him and had not informed the celestial guards about it, that meant Grianor didn’t wish to reveal it to anyone as well.
