The exorcism began in America.

CHAPTER 48: CHAPTER 48 IT TURNS OUT TO BE MY SIBLING
"Chu, do we really have to go in?"
After getting a clear view of the situation inside the third ward from outside, Taran felt her scalp tingle as she looked at Chu Feng beside her, truly hesitant to enter.
"Of course. Don’t forget that AA-12 in your hand isn’t just for show!"
Having comforted Taran, Chu Feng’s mind focused, and the glow of the Golden Light Spell instantly covered his entire body.
After wrapping a layer of Spiritual Power around his right foot, he fiercely kicked the door in front of him.
"BANG!"
After a loud crash, the ward’s door was kicked down by the immense force, landing on the room’s floor.
The moment the door hit the ground, Chu Feng dashed into the ward, his finger tight on the trigger. "BANG! BANG! BANG..."
The continuous loud gunfire instantly drew the attention of the four people inside.
Taran, following behind Chu Feng, saw that Chu Feng had already rushed into the ward. She stomped her foot hard and steeled her resolve, then also raised the shotgun in her hand and charged into the ward.
The already noisy gunfire inside suddenly doubled in decibel level.
The numerous Bizarre in the room instantly shifted their focus to the doorway the moment Chu Feng burst in.
Countless Bizarre, staring at the Exorcist who had delivered himself to them, emitted sporadic and uneven roars.
The next second, the iron pellets sprayed from Chu Feng’s shotgun made contact with the numerous Bizarre.
"AAH..."
The few weaker Bizarre in the front turned into black ash the moment they were struck by the iron pellets.
Several other Bizarre also suffered considerable damage.
Of course, the Bizarre’s attacks were not slow. The distorted hospital beds in the corner of the room flew up from the ground, along with countless miscellaneous items, all hurtling towards Chu Feng’s body under the Bizarre’s control. Simultaneously, a few Evil Spirits adept at creating illusions extended their power into Chu Feng’s mind.
"Chu! Be careful!"
Chu Feng, faced with so many attacks for the first time, did not panic. Amidst Taran’s shouts, his body suddenly lunged forward to meet the Bizarre’s onslaught.
All sorts of objects struck Chu Feng’s body with immense force but were immediately repelled by a flash of golden light.
Just as Chu Feng chose to use his body, covered in the Golden Light Spell, to withstand the barrage of incoming objects, his legs suddenly felt an upward pulling force. "Think you can lift me? Dream on!"
Chu Feng’s brows furrowed. He combined Spiritual Power with the Golden Light Spell, causing a violent tremor across his skin. In the blink of an eye, he shattered the Bizarre power trying to suspend him in mid-air.
"Chu, I’m out of ammo!" Taran suddenly shouted in panic from behind.
Chu Feng turned to see Taran standing in the middle of a Crystal Formation. She had just removed the drum magazine from her shotgun, her face showing urgency as she looked at Chu Feng.
Unhindered by the Bizarre’s attacks, Taran had actually run out of ammo before Chu Feng did.
"Catch—aim carefully!" Chu Feng instantly tossed a fresh drum magazine to Taran.
With new ammo reloaded, Taran once again pulled the trigger at the few remaining Bizarre in front of her.
"Taran, I think you should work on your marksmanship!" Once the room fell quiet again, Chu Feng looked helplessly at Miss Taran beside him.
Taran, who entered the ward later, wasn’t targeted by the Bizarre’s attacks, yet oddly, only a small portion of the Bizarre were killed by her shotgun. And she was using a shotgun!
If it had been a pistol or a rifle, Chu Feng couldn’t imagine how few Bizarre would have succumbed.
"Alright! If I can get out of this hospital, I think I’ll sign up for a shooting training class." Taran looked at the shotgun in her hands and agreed, her face etched with embarrassment.
"Excuse me, sorry to interrupt! Are you here to save us?" At that moment, a voice suddenly interrupted Chu Feng and Taran’s conversation.
The two turned around. One of the four people who had been in the corner of the room, a beautiful woman with an East Asian appearance, was now standing in front of them.
Chu Feng gently shook his head. "To be precise, we did it incidentally."
"In any case, thank you for your help! My name is Lin Qiu, from the eastern Chinese Country. I’m an international student and also an Exorcist!"
Chu Feng smiled and shook the delicate hand the beautiful woman extended to him.
"Then we are indeed fated! My name is Chu Feng, also from the Chinese Country, currently running an Exorcism Agency in the United States."
"Really? That’s so lucky! I thought you were Chinese American at first." Lin Qiu’s face was also full of pleasant surprise. Being rescued by a fellow countryman during an Exorcism Task abroad—the odds were incredibly slim!
"Lin, the person who saved us is your compatriot?" The two Exorcists who had just fought alongside Lin Qiu now also approached from behind her.
"That’s right! Chu Feng, let me introduce them. This is Amita; he’s an Indian and a Wizard. This is Dimo Logan, a medium. They entered this hospital with me."
Looking at the two Exorcists, Chu Feng’s eyes flickered, and a warm smile appeared.
"Hello, it’s nice to meet you! I am Chu Feng. You can call me Chu."
"Mr. Chu, we know of you! America’s most powerful Exorcist. Thank you so much for your help; otherwise, we might have died in this room!"
The two pale-faced Exorcists still felt a lingering fear recalling their ordeal.
Hearing this, Chu Feng let out a light chuckle. "No need for thanks, because we’re about to become teammates!"
Then, as Chu Feng and Taran explained, the others also became aware of the dire situation they faced.
"Chu Feng, you’re the strongest here. We’ll follow your lead!"
"That’s right! If we want to leave the hospital, we can only rely on Chu!"
Facing Lin Qiu’s suggestion, everyone nodded in agreement.
"Alright, you all rest for a while. Once you’re ready, we’ll set out." Chu Feng smiled and nodded at them, then arranged for them to rest and recover their Spiritual Power.
"Chu, there’s still one more person over there!" Taran leaned into Chu Feng’s ear and whispered.
Following Taran’s gaze, Chu Feng also saw the figure still slumped in the corner.
"Lin Qiu, is that your classmate?" Seeing the other person’s East Asian face, Chu Feng asked with some confusion, looking towards Lin Qiu, who was stretching her long, slender legs beside him.
"Him? His name is Huang Chuanhao. He’s just a swindler! Claimed to be an Exorcist, yet he doesn’t have a hint of Spiritual Power on him!" Lin Qiu pursed her attractive red lips, her flawless, porcelain-like face full of contempt.
"Hmm? I see!" Realization dawned on Chu Feng instantly; he understood the man’s identity. Although the Bizarre were no longer mere legends, human diversity had long shown that there would always be some people who liked to be different, unwilling to acknowledge well-known facts.
This man must have been one who believed the Bizarre didn’t exist and chose to take the opportunity to pose as an Exorcist to scam people.
As a result, he probably ended up being an unlucky soul dragged here by the New York police.
