CHAPTER 33: CHAPTER 32 - IS THAT DUNGEON?
Red Onion Academy.
At first glance, the symbol and the name of the Red Onion Academy are out of sync. The person who gave the name seemed to be drunk when giving the name.
One would think that the Red Onion Academy was a place where people learned to cook. In fact, it was the most prestigious place to gain knowledge, especially swordsmanship and magic.
Basically, what was boasted in the message that Lev read was the truth. Red Onion Academy was the biggest, greatest, and most popular academy on the continent.
All the noble children from across the continent received an invitation when they finished the coming-of-age ceremony.
One thing that made everyone curious was how they knew which noble children had just performed the coming-of-age ceremony so that they could immediately send an invitation letter to enter the Red Onion academy.
There were some who thought that the academy used spies spread across the continent. However, there were also those who thought simply that they were using clairvoyant magic.
’If they had just used a little brain, they would have known.’
The academy only asked for the birth data of each kingdom so as to know when the children of the nobles in each place would reach the age ready to enter the academy.
Despite the prowess of the Red Onion Academy, it was clear that what they were doing was a monopolistic practice.
There were five places that the Red Onion Academy prioritized in recruiting students.
One of them was the Dragomirov Kingdom in the north. Then there was the Marcia Kingdom in the center, the Tianxia Dynasty in the east, the Al-Fayruz Sultanate in the west, and finally the Usitu Wakili Association in the south.
Those five places were the places that dominated the Avalon Continent, so it was natural for the Red Onion Academy to prioritize those five places. However, outside of those five places, there was one place that was in the gray zone, a sort of priority but not priority. That place was the SkyHaven Kingdom.
A place where Lev was killed at the hands of Hansen.
When he thought about Hansen, he realized that he would automatically meet Hansen when he entered the academy.
Although the Red Onion Academy was an academy exclusive to nobles, there were always exceptions for the main characters in this world.
Aside from the supporting factor of his abnormal strength, it was said that due to saving the main heroine who was a noble, Hansen had the opportunity to enter the academy.
It was at the Red Onion Academy that the main story began.
Hansen, a non-aristocrat student vs nobles with sky-high egos clash. Somewhat cliché, but it has always managed to attract readers, including Lev when he lived on earth.
’Should I prevent Hansen from entering the academy?’ While he was busy pondering, there was Greda who was watching with a proud look.
"Congratulations, Young Master." Greda smiled as he offered his congratulations.
"What is there to congratulate, Nanny?"
It seemed that Greda did not expect that Lev would receive an invitation considering the results of his coming-of-age ceremony.
"With you receiving the invitation, it means that the academy must think you have potential, Young Master. As we know, not all noble children receive invitations."
"Is that so?"
"By the way, when will enrollment open?" Greda asked.
In the academy’s admission invitation letter, it was already written when enrollment opened for new students.
- ...Come when spring comes. We are ready to make you a hero.
He was told to come in the spring.
In other words, there were still about two months left.
After finishing reading the invitation letter to enter the academy, he put the invitation letter into his magic pouch.
Greda suggested bringing Daria because he was no longer young. As everyone knew, each student was allowed to bring one personal maid. "...Then, I take my leave to go, Young Master."
"Are you planning to go help prepare the party?"
"Yes?!"
"You don’t need to. Just go find a safe place and hide well."
"What if Master Andrei gets angry with me?"
"There’s no need to worry. After today, you will never be able to see my father again."
Greda’s puzzled and puckered face showed. She was about to give Lev a lecture. "Don’t speak harshly of your own father, Young Master." And so on, until Lev pushed Nanny Greda’s hunched back out of his bedroom.

"Ahh~ Why do we have to be here when everyone else is going to the party?"
"Don’t complain. This is an important place. As well as our duty."
Two soldiers guarding a mysterious cave were talking to each other. They were knights from the Razanov residence.
Just as they said. Their friends, the other knights, were attending the feast on Andrei’s orders.
In order to repair the Razanov family’s image that Lev had ruined during the coming-of-age ceremony, it was necessary for Andrei to do so—display the prowess of the Razanov family’s knights.
The two knights tightened the hands holding the spears. They had dull faces because they couldn’t bear to be on duty while their friends were partying.
Just as they wanted to complain further, a soldier suddenly ran up to them from the stairs leading up.
The two knights glared at the soldier and said, "How did you come here?"
The place they guarded was not a place that just anyone could enter. Only their Master, Andrei, and his trusted subordinates were allowed to come.
Inevitably, the two guardian knights felt suspicious. The two of them were even ready to slash the soldier’s body. Their hands pointed their spears at the soldier’s face.
"Huufftt." Ignoring the threat of the sharp spear before his eyes, the soldier said what he needed to say even though he was still breathing heavily. "I received orders from Master Andrei. You two were instructed by the Master to go out there."
"Huh?"
"?"
The two guard knights looked at each other in confusion. Their common sense told them that what the soldier said was utter nonsense. However, deep in their hearts, they had expected such words.
When suddenly there was a soldier who said that they were told to join the party, of course, their hopes were the same as being granted.
Who wouldn’t be happy when told to display their strength in front of the noble guests. If they were lucky, they could get a partner from the nobility.
Finally, the soldier’s last persuasive words dulled their common sense, "How would I know this place if I didn’t receive information from Master himself."
"Ah, do they lack people to entertain the guests?"
"It could be."
Immediately, the two knights hurried to leave the place they were supposed to be responsible for guarding.
They climbed the stairs that led upstairs.
Moments later, there was someone who came to the place where the two knights were responsible for guarding. That person was Lev. He descended the stairs with steady footsteps.
***
"I didn’t expect that there would be this kind of place in this mansion."
Lev himself was surprised when he entered a place similar to an underground cave. Not much lighting illuminated the surroundings, there were only small torches flickering on the walls.
The scenery where Lev was was in stark contrast to the majestic mansion above.
Lev recalled how he arrived at this place.
His original plan was, that while all the knights were busy following the party, he wanted to fight alone against Andrei.
Was he confident he could win against his own father one-on-one? Of course not.
However, he planned to record the fight between himself and Andrei using the Memory Orb. All he had to do was force Andrei to emit a demonic aura indicating that he was in a relationship with a demon, and his goal would be achieved.
He could broadcast the contents of the Memory Orb to the invited guests.
Wasn’t that the perfect plan if he wanted to complete the Hero of the Shadow quest?
However, when he entered Andrei’s private office, he didn’t find him.
By accident, he found a secret door that led to where he was now.
Calling it an accident might not be quite right.
In the past week, not only was he busy with outside matters, but he was also searching for something from inside the mansion.
He thought about the people who were kidnapped by Andrei and his men.
Where did Andrei put all the victims he kidnapped? That was his question.
With that question in mind, he started digging all the places inside the mansion, including the main building of the mansion and the buildings around it. However, he did not find anything.
One last place he didn’t manage to enter was Andrei’s private office.
Since there was always a knight strangely guarding the entrance door, he couldn’t just barge in.
’Now I know the reason why the entrance to his private office is heavily guarded.’
The reason was because there was a path that led to this secret room.
When he stepped over the last step, he saw a mysterious cave mouth.
This secret room was located deep underground, while the entrance to this secret room was on the top floor of the mansion’s main building.
So, anyone who didn’t enter Andrei’s private office would automatically be unable to get to this place.
Lev thought that Andrei should keep all the people he kidnapped in a big and wide place, so he almost excluded Andrei’s private office.
’Who knew that Andrei’s private office was the only door that led to this place.’
Lev looked at the mouth of the mysterious cave at the end of where he was.
’Is that a dungeon?’
