The voice of Edward Miller echoed in Carson Flores’s mind, "They’ve already used a Formation to trap the Blackwater Toad. If we make a move, it would be a forceful snatch, breeding a deadly rivalry."

Carson Flores looked at the Blackwater Toad, struggling madly, causing the golden pillars of light on its body to tremble constantly, and replied, "Let’s wait and see. After all, it’s just a Blackwater Toad, not the Rainbow Jade Rhinoceros. We might not necessarily have to make a move to snatch it."

Edward Miller immediately understood Carson Flores’s intent, "You mean to follow behind them, and wait until the Rainbow Jade Rhinoceros truly emerges before taking action to snatch it?"

Carson Flores chuckled, "There’s no rush anyway."

Edward Miller nodded; he was asking for Carson Flores’s opinion partly to gauge his attitude and further understand his character.

Carson Flores readily gave away a Buddha-heart Pill, which increased Edward’s fondness for him, feeling a bit inclined to deepen their friendship.

Just as the Blackwater Toad’s body hit the ground, the Five Poisons Hall disciples had already all charged over.

"It’s you!"

The Five Poisons Hall disciple who had previously encountered Carson Flores and the others widened his eyes and angrily said, "We told you to leave, yet you secretly circled back. The Blackwater Toad was clearly already ours, no need for you to intervene. Hand over the Blackwater Toad!"
